I signed up to our first baby classes…

I signed up to our first baby classes with Lindsay after a recommendation from a friend and couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. The classes were all baby-led and found the pace of them to be enough to learn and not feel overwhelmed when tired, and occasionally dealing with an unsettled baby. Lindsay is so friendly and created an amazing welcoming atmosphere each week, the class felt like a great support group each week and I looked forward to seeing the other mums and babies. My daughter really loved the classes, whether it was the massage or songs at the beginning, she smiled every week and I could see she was loving the experience too. Would highly recommend :)

The best baby classes!

My first class with Lindsay was Better Birth, which really made a huge difference to my pregnancy experience. After a difficult first birth during COVID I got so much reassurance and positivity during the class which really helped me get through all the fear and anxiety. Since then I’ve done all the classes with my baby and we love going every week! Lindsay is so amazing with the babies but also with us and I really value how much she listens and lets us air our emotions and worries as mums. I look forward to the chats as much as the classes! My baby loves them too - when I sing the welcome song to her now she beams and dances all around the room :) It’s the best time we send together each week and I thoroughly recommend giving it a go.

Lindsey is amazing

Lindsey is amazing, we’ve been going to her classes for a year now in Byfleet Village. Started with baby massage and now in Sensory Song and Rhyme Time. Last year was a rough one for me personally and her classes really help my own mental health. I don’t know what I would have done without these classes. Highly recommend

We recently moved to Cranleigh with our 10-year-old and a new baby, and although I’m not a first-time mum, I was really looking for a way to meet people and feel part of the local community. This is how I found Mumma’s Village. It is one of those rare spaces that genuinely feels like it’s built with care, intention, and a deep understanding of women’s experiences. A huge part of that comes from Steph, who runs it. She brings a wealth of lived, experiential knowledge to everything she does, and it shows. She’s refreshingly down to earth, with a brilliant sense of humour that instantly puts you at ease. More than that, she embodies feminism in its truest sense, she actively uplifts and advocates for women, creating an environment where you feel supported, heard, and empowered.
The classes are dynamic and thoughtfully designed, with diverse activities, creative themes, and engaging paraphernalia that make each session feel fresh and meaningful.
It’s also conveniently located, with nearby parking and lovely coffee shops close by making the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
To me Mumma’s Village feels less like a class and more like a supportive, empowering community.

A warm and creative class

Our son and I loved the warm, welcoming, relaxed and fun environment that Rachel and Helen create in their classes. Each session is tailored to the children's age and is creatively and thoughtfully led.

We started our Mumma's Village journey in Godalming, and then moved to Haslemere as it was more convenient for us. I highly recommend the classes to both first and second/third/fourth time parents.

Rachel is fantastic

Rachel is fantastic. I had a very special time with my newborn at the massage classes and moving into the song and stretch. It was greatly enjoyed by both me and my baby and great to chat to and meet other mums in the area. Thank you Rachel x

We joined Rachel’s classes at Mummas Village in Haslemere and Liphook for a few terms and thoroughly enjoyed them. Rachel is kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. She creates such a warm and welcoming environment, and our little one absolutely loved interacting with her each week. We looked forward to every session and would highly recommend her classes to other families!

I absolutely loved the baby massage sessions. Rachel was so welcoming and I felt so at ease within the class. The baby massage itself was so helpful in relaxing my baby - he always fell asleep straight after. I have recommended the class to lots of friends.

Look no further…

If you're looking for a class to help give your baby the best start in life then this is absolutely the place. Not only are the sessions well planned and equipped for the age and stage of your child, but it's also run by an outstanding, warm and welcoming lady, Steph! She is such a lovely, friendly and outgoing person.

These classes give nothing but the best for my twin babies! We've been attending since my twins were 2 months and now they are currently 6 and a half months old. We started on baby massage - this class helped me to bond and feel closer to my babies, the calming experience of this class was so comforting for both my babies and myself. We then moved through sensory stage 1 & 2, again, amazing classes filled with singing, stretching and lots of sensory experiences. This spring term we are moving on to sensory song and rhyme time and I cannot wait.

These classes aren't just beneficial for babies, they're also a great way to socialise with other new parents and to just feel a bit more human again. I 1000% recommend these classes, you won't regret it.

Couldn’t recommend more!

Unlike other baby groups, Steph’s classes focus on the mums as well as the babies - this has so many benefits, from recognising you’re not alone, no matter how tough your week has been, to helping build a brilliant group of supportive mum friends. And what a community Steph has created in Cranleigh! Feel very lucky to be part of it - the Mummas Village classes have transformed my pregnancy, maternity leave (and social life!) and both my girls have loved the classes. A huge thank you ❤️

Mummas Village is fantastic

Mummas Village run by Steph is fantastic. As a first time mum I was a bit apprehensive about joining classes and not knowing quite what to expect.

Steph immediately puts you at ease. She is so friendly and knowledgeable.
It’s such a life line for mums when having a small baby can feel quite isolating.

The classes are fun and relaxed. It is such a safe space. Zero judgment.
Every time the block of classes comes to an end I just keep signing up for the next block! Highly recommend.

The Best Baby Classes!

I have been going to Steph’s baby and toddler classes for over 4 years with my 4 children. I look forward to Steph’s class every week as it’s always so fun and interactive but great to meet and chat to other parents. Steph is so welcoming and understanding which makes the environment such a safe place for us. I’m currently going to Steph’s sensory class with my twins and I recommend Steph’s classes to everyone I know!

Steph’s classes are exactly what every…

Steph’s classes are exactly what every new parent needs - we started Steph’s classes when baby was around 6 weeks old and my god did I need it, I had no idea that the classes would benefit me and my postpartum mind and body just as much as my baby.

We have done Baby Massage, Sensory Song and Stretch and Messy Play so far and it’s been such a wonderful and fun experience to share with my baby.
Steph is a really special human in her ability to connect with all our unique babies, and feel exactly what every mum in the room is going through and provide words of wisdom, warmth, kindness, support and also a good laugh. I’ve turned up late, looking a mess and even in tears at times, and so have most of the other mums - but the way Steph and the community meets us there and lifts us up with her down to earth attitude, humour and kindness is what is so beautiful about her classes.

I have made brilliant friendships in Steph’s Mumma’s village classes and I feel beyond lucky for me and my baby to have found this community. If you’re lucky enough to live close enough to get to these classes, it doesn’t matter if you’re late or you miss some, signing up and being a part of this community may well just be the best thing you do for yourself and your baby.

More than a baby class!

Steph is bloody brilliant! I was lucky enough to find Steph’s classes when my baby was about 12 weeks old. I’d tried two other baby classes (not with Mummas Village) and left both feeling completely overwhelmed. From the moment I met Steph, I just knew this one was right for us.

My baby was very colicky, and Steph made us feel so genuinely welcome (even sending me a tutorial on the best massages for colic as she knew my sleep deprived brain would not remember what we discussed). Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humour are what make the classes so special, and I honestly find myself looking forward to them every week — especially during the really tough ones. I’m genuinely going to miss it when we go back to work.

Mummas Village and Steph amazing

I joined Mummas Village classes with Steph when my daughter was about 10 weeks old and I only stopped when I had to go back to work.
What I can only say about Steph and Mummas village is AMAZING. It was a wonderful class to be part of and especially during the new stages of motherhood it was a great community to be a part of.
I loved my classes there and wish I could still be doing them now

I recommend this class to anyone and everyone

I went not knowing what to expect and I found half baby massage, half support network for me. I went several weeks feeling mentally tired or down and Steph was great at checking in with the mums, sharing stories and reassuring everyone. I would recommend this class to anyone and everyone. Get yourself and your baby there!

6 week Complete Course

My husband and I have just completed the 6-week Complete Course with Ros and couldn’t recommend it enough. The sessions were really informative and run in a friendly, relaxed environment. It was a small group of couples, which was great as we could all ask questions and had time during the breaks to get to know each other. Having Ros as our instructor was a huge plus — as a midwife at Frimley she was able to share really helpful, specific advice that felt very relevant to our upcoming birth. We both feel much more confident and prepared now. Would highly recommend The Mama’s Village to any expectant parents. Thank you! 😊
