I have cancelled my subscription because your site does not allow me access to the information that I have paid for without my answering questions about ad blocking technology. It is illegal for you to ask for that information and block access for content I have paid for unless I answer those questions. I will forward my complaint to US authorities so that Repubblica is blocked form doing business with anyone in the USA. Your questions go well beyond what your can ask subscribers to do and borders on the fascist practices of old Italian newspapers, You ought to be ashamed of what you are doing, If I pay for something, I do not expect to be blocked by requests for information that you are not legally entitled to. I strongly recommend readers of this newspaper to unsubscribe; it is a pity because the quality of the news is high but you cannot allow them to ask for private information.

I subscribed just to read a few articles for my thesis and the subscription does not work!!
The costumer care form does not work for solving problems, only works for information request. Odd...

After reading the other reviews here I immediately cancelled the automatic payment on paypal too.

Have subscribed but can’t access the content for subscribers.
Have messaged customer services. Awaiting reply and resolution.

Annoying from pop-up show forced me to disable AdBlock.

This place has THE WORST customer service I have EVER come across. It's an absolute joke.
I subscribed to La Repubblica because I wanted to read one article. I have now tried unsubscribing since December 2021 without any luck or help from their useless customer service. But they keep taking money from me even though I have stated multiple times, that I wanted to unsubscribe.

In order to unsubscribe they give you three options. 1: call customer service. I tried this multiple times, but my Italian isn't good enough to talk to them and no one in customer service speaks English. 2: write an e-mail. I tried this multiple times (in Italian thanks to google translate), but each time the e-mail just gets returned to me because of some error. I have tried sending e-mails to any other e-mail I could find related to Gedi or La Repubblica, where I explained why the provided options doesn't work. Each time they just tell me, that I have the three options even though I just told them, it doesn't work. 3: fax. I don't own or have access to a fax machine.

Am I just supposed to keep paying for this until the day I die, because customer service is too useless to let me unsubscribe? It's a nightmare!!!
