Taskrabbit US Reviews 

I have used Taskrabbit twice now. Once for apartment move-out cleaning and the 2nd time to have a TV mounted on a wall. Both taskers did excellent work and were 100% professional, courteous, and meticulous. I will use Taskrabbit going forward.

The worst customer service for finding a tasker. The person I chose after seeing the pictures and reading my descriptions stated he could handle my project. He shows up and says that he cannot handle it so I had to cancel it. Now the app people are telling me because I didn't cancel it before my appointment time. I can't even get a refund. It is BS. They only give me a credit to use on their crappy site. After this first experience, I will never be using them again and the customer service is complete garbage. I don't see it lasting very long. Now. I'm going to have to go through my credit card to fight this garbage company.

Added $40 in hidden fees to my booking, denied this even when I had receipts and messages with my tasker to prove it. A dishonest and disappointing service.

Daniel T helped me last year & again this year. It was easy to schedule an appt via Task Rabbit. He is friendly, thorough, respects your home as if it is his own, takes pride in his work & cleans up after himself. He arrives on time & great communicator. He assembled a sofa, end table, accent chair, hung my metal artwork, placed my kitchen cabinet door back on & lowered my tv so it is eye level. Yes, I will continue to work with him & recommend him to others!

I used Charles to help move in a college student. He was incredible. Very smart, worked very hard with me.

Vincent was a good communicator and high highly efficient. He listened to what I needed to have done and promptly completed it. He then mentioned that I still had time that I had paid for and asked if I needed anything else moved or help with anything else. Great service from this TaskRabbit provider. I would definitely ask for him again.

The company has a great, simple process arrange services to be performed. My service was done quickly and sufficiently.

I really would rather not do this publicly; I have no interest in affecting a Tasker's livelihood. But I have been unable to reach TaskRabbit's "powers that be" through private methods; the "submit" button won't "take" when trying to message TaskRabbit through its website. I'll see if I can remove this "review" after receiving acknowledgement from TaskRabbit.

I am not a happy camper. I hope that this can serve as a constructive learning opportunity for platform coordination.

Prior to the move, I inquired twice via the in-app chat whether the Tasker could bring his moving truck (listed on his profile) to transport a 170 lb technical machine on rollers. Both messages went unanswered. By the time he arrived in a pickup truck it was past the 24-hour cancellation window, and my office lease was expiring that day—leaving me no choice but to proceed.

Because the question was unaddressed, I was unable to pivot to an alternative solution with ramp equipment. Without a moving truck with a ramp, the machine had to be laid on its back on a dolly to drag it up into the truck bed - a direct manufacturer contraindication (which, to be fair, I had to authorize on the fly, being left without any other options) - resulting in internal operational damage to the unit.

I value the platform and do not wish to impact the Tasker's profile or public standing with a negative review. I wanted to share this privately so TaskRabbit can emphasize to Taskers the importance of pre-task chat communication and vehicle confirmation before taking on specialized equipment moves.

If my Tasker had only replied "No" - just have said "No", that's all - I would have had time to hire a more appropriate mover and still have properly functioning equipment! Just say "No"! Just say "No"! SMH

In the meantime, I sure wish he would remove "Moving Truck" from his profile since it's, evidently, not available for customer moves.

First time using Taskrabbit and very pleased. The person we hired came on time and did a great job. He was reasonably priced and gave great suggestions. He cleaned up after himself and brought all the necessary tools. He also communicated with me very well. Would definitely hire him again. The only thing I might suggest is that when I reached out and it showed certain times as open, I chose a specific time and he came back and said he wasn't available then, that he was busy. He was able to come pretty quickly the next day, but I would appreciate that if the time is not available, update the site. Other than that, we loved our guy!

My tasked cancelled 4 hours before the scheduled time, but it was in the morning so I was unable to see it on time. I don't understand why Taskrabbit didn't assign me with a new tasked since they automatically assigned the first one (this was booking with IKEA). Since I saw it too late, taskrabbit cancelled my scheduled time and decided to not allow me to reschedule for today. I am extremely annoyed as I have no time this week and I don't want to make anyone work on Labor Day. Incredibly disappointed with this system and IKEA.

Our task rabbit was so nice, very competent, and did a fantastic job finishing the task in a timely manner. We were very pleased.

The service was great. The additional fee that TaskRabbit adds on top the posted rate for the service provider is ridiculous. In my case it added 30% per hour to the advertised rate. I am sure TaskRabbit is also getting part of the advertised fee, and then adds another fee on top . . . because reasons. That stinks. Whould have been one star if the service provider wasn't so good.

Landon arrived on time, explained what he was going to do and and then completed the task. He was very pleasant

Best customer service experience. I’ll be using this app to have my curtains put up next!

Love the concept and the taskers. Hate the app. It’s almost impossible to use. The Apple os x’s cover the back arrow, so I logged out today probably 200 times. Also, you can’t see what you’re typing to describe a task to your tasker. Most frustrating app I’ve used in years. Not a good prize to win.

He is a consummate professional: very easy to work with, very accommodating to whatever comes up and an obvious desire to see that the job gets done and gets on right.
