We loved our trip to Tanzania including Zanzibar. All pick ups, accommodations and programs have been arranged as agreed and we did not have to worry or even think about all the organizing. The local guides were prepared and professional while kind as well. We have been very satisfied with everything.

Thank you very much, because we really wanted to travel with this company, but after reading the comments and the problems, and how the company handles refunds or compensation for negligence, it is clear that they are not a reliable company, and it is very obvious. Therefore, we are looking for another company.

A fantastic trip from start to end, including visits to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar. The highlight of the trip was Serengeti, where we saw all the possible animals to be seen there. A special thanks to our incredible guide and driver Issa who made our trip the experience of a lifetime. Very nice to end with a more relaxing holiday in Zanzibar. Overall a fantastic experience, not least because of the warm and kind Tanzanian people.

Bokade safari till Zanzibar via TourCompass. Hade höga förväntningar, och safarin blev ännu bättre än jag någonsin kunnat ana. Vi blev lyckligt lottade att ha en underbar guide, Nay. Så trevlig, och så kunnig om djuren, hon gjorde så vår Safariresa blev helt perfekt! Kom alltid och hämtade oss med glatt humör, spred härlig energi var hon än gick, körde bil som hon aldrig gjort något annat i livet. Vi hade det så bra på vår safari! En sån häftig upplevelse att få vara med om, och tack vare Nay kunde vi checka av The Big Five. Kommer definitivt bli fler resor med TourCompass! Hakuna Matat!

Booked a safari to Zanzibar via TourCompass. Had high expectations, and the safari was even better than I could have ever imagined. We were lucky to have a wonderful guide, Nay. So nice, and so knowledgeable about the animals, she made our Safari trip absolutely perfect! Always came and picked us up in a happy mood, spread wonderful energy wherever she went, drove like she had never done anything else in her life. We had such a great time on our safari! Such an awesome experience to be a part of, and thanks to Nay we were able to check out The Big Five. Will definitely be doing more trips with TourCompass! Hakuna Matat!

TourCompass helped us tailor our dream trip – one week in Kruger National Park and one week in Cape Town. It felt like two vacations in one.

A huge thank you to Tandi and the guides Lorens and John during our safari days. You’ve given us memories for life!

An equally big thank you to Yolanda, Nigel, and especially Mish in Cape Town. It’s amazing how you made it all happen, even though a couple of sick days got in the way. After the guided tours with Mish, we’ve realized that one trip to Cape Town – just isn’t enough!

We went to do safari in South Africa and then to Mauritius and I would strongly recommend not using Tour Compass but instead just book it yourselves. The Kruger Gate hotel is amazing and they organise everything- transfers, safari, food etc- everything they did was great and it was a lovely hotel to stay at. However, Tour Compass did many things to make the trip worse. The worst thing was that the TourCompass rep was a keen photographer and sat in the front of our jeep and always ensure the vehicle was positioned to get the best views of the animals and we were left staring at bushes in the back. We raised this with TourCompass and they replied a month later to say that they would try communicating with her. We also were given wrong booking numbers for all our flights by TourCompass and so had to call TourCompass to get the correct ones to check in. When we arrived at Johannesburg there was nobody to meet us, we rung the emergency TourCompass number and it went through to a full voicemail. Overall I would say that I cannot see that TourCompass added anything to the experience and in many ways made it worse. Kruger Gate Hotel is great though.

ABOUT AFRIKASAFARI
Afrikasafari has been very helpful and quickly answered all our questions/emails upon booking the trip. We did a big research before and Afrikasafari was one of the cheapest and we had got recommendations from friends. Everything has been working very well with information, flights, pickup/drivers etc.

SAFARI
The safari was amazing - we got to see the Big Five and a lot of other animals as giraffes, zebras, hyenas etc. The only animal we didn’t see was the cheetah.
Our favorite park was Ngorongoro - the nature was fantastic and we got to see a close up of thousands of animals. We even saw several lions and they were RIGHT by the car, one lions tail was even IN our car!
A big thank you to our guide Abo (from Zara Tours) who always went out of his way to give us the best experience.

MASAI VILLAGE
We did not like this part but we were not able to choose if we should visit or not. It felt wrong to be there somehow and you had to pay 5 dollars/person as an entrance. They wanted to sell a lot of stuff to you and they got very disappointed when you didn’t buy. They had a small school in their village and the Masai that showed us around told us before we went in that there was a donation box inside the school but that any donations should be given to him. Foolishly we made a donation to him afterwards but he didn’t get happy at all and minutes afterwards we saw him with packs of tobak and we understood that the kids would never see that money...
Keep in mind that Masai’s work in every hotel/camp and they insist in grabbing everything for you so that you’ll always need to tip them.

SAFARI ACCOMMODATION
Highview hotel - a nice with a nice view overlooking coffe plantations. They served good food, you also got to pack your own lunchboxes. The rooms were very small though, the two beds took up the whole room.
Ikoma Wild Camp - we were positively surprised that a tent could be that nice and big in the middle of nowhere. You have your own bathroom with toilet and shower. They use solar power so you can only charge your phone up in the restaurant, so bring flashlights, adapter, a large power outlet and powerbanks and you’ll be all set.
Ngorongoro wild camp - this was the best one, a really nice and beautiful tent with your own bathroom and a stunning view overlooking lake Eyasi right form our own patio.

In every accommodation there was two single beds which was a bit disappointing when you travel as a couple. But everyday we got a good lunch, either a well packed lunch box or a hot meal in a tent in the parks.
We were here end of February/beginning of March and it rained almost every night so it does get cold and in the evenings/morning there are a lot of mosquitoes!

ZANZIBAR - SULTAN SANDS
A nice hotel with nice environment, they serve very food (you are also allowed to eat at Bluebay). The rooms are nice but the cleaning is uneven.
There are a lot of sun beds so you can always get one but if you want a parasol you need to pax very early (before 7 am then are all taken). The hotel have like 10 parasols in total. They should really get more parasols since the sun is very strong and almost everyone here gets sunburned.
We did not have All Inclusive so only breakfast and dinner was included - the prices are high, for lunch you buy a Club Sandwich for around 15 dollars.
The massages were nice but a bit expensive, 55 min of Swedish Massage cost 70 dollars.
They have a small gym with quite good equipment, works perfectly to get some exercise. We do think that the staffs attitude was a bit ”threatening” at times - for instance they were very clear that if we don’t give back the beach towels at the end of the day they will charge us, if we don’t turn off the AC in our room during the days they will charge us and if anything happens to the paddle/windsurfing boards that you can use they will charge us 100 dollars..
But overall it’s a nice hotel it’s just some minor things that they should improve.

Me and my husband traveled to Vietnam with Asiatours this year. The trip was perfectly tailored and planned by the company from the first minute. Local guide Ti met us in the airport in Hanoi, and since that we were never left without care and advice. Program was intense and fascinating, we had both plenty of impressions and enough time to have a rest and enjoy the country. Hotels choice was also very wise and good. In each town we had a new guide, all of them great professionals. Also we were provided with top-rate cars and drivers to move from one point to another. It was our first trip to Asia and it was definitely super-successful, thanks to Asiatours and their local partners!

Everything was very well planned, and made it an amazing trip!
