I’ve only been in employment here for about 3 weeks in the Nissin trunking shift on nights based in Swindon, I’ve had a great experience, my work placement has been great and I feel very well paid for what I actually do, I haven’t had any issues with anyone from Workchain or Nissin and the whole job has been pretty great in my experience, thank you Workchain and Joe from Bristol Workchain site.

I’ve been working with Joe for a while now through the agency, and my experience has always been very positive. Communication is excellent – he always checks in, takes the time to ask how things are going, and makes you feel valued before discussing any work opportunities.

He’s very professional and helpful when it comes to job details. If I need more information before committing, he’s always happy to find out and come back to me promptly. There’s never any pressure either – if a job isn’t suitable and I say no, he completely respects that and will look for other opportunities that might be a better fit.

Overall, Joe is approachable, reliable, and easy to deal with. I’ve had no issues at all and would happily recommend working with him.

Recently passed my HGV test and since then been using workchain to get some employment, got in contact with Joe Vine and he has been brilliant constantly calls to offer work and constant check ups to see how it has been. Some of the work he has found for me has been a hard graft but he has never done me wrong in the few months I have been using his services. Joe Vine is a merit to this agency.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Workchain, and specifically by Joe Vine. This person repeatedly sends me job offers. Every single time she reaches out, I reply immediately stating that I am interested in the position. What happens next? Absolute silence. She gives zero response and ignores my messages.A few days later, the exact same person sends me another automated job offer as if nothing happened. It is obvious to me that she does not care about actually helping people find work. It seems she is only worried about her own KPIs and metrics to show her managers that she is "active" and collecting applications, which is incredibly unprofessional and a waste of job seekers' time. If you want a recruitment agency that actually communicates and tries to get you a job, avoid dealing with Joe Vine at Workchain.

A so call business manager, he offered me work which I accepted, but unfortunately after a family emergency, I had to cancel & gave a days notice which I did all I got was an unprofessional reaction saying I had let them down, but nothing was confirmed all I knew that it was a company in Melton, absolutely no understanding about me giving them notice or any apology, to top it all I received an email the next day asking if I was available for another job as if nothing had happened, he was just so rude all he was bothered was about was someone doing the job , not at all bothered about personal circumstances that can happen at anytime, no compassion whatsoever such a selfish person totally in the wrong job .

I worked for a warehouse, on a 2man job for appliances, sofas, garden furniture etc. big boxes, heavy lifting for 8 hours non-stop. No safety boots were provided, I requested and received none. My night shifts were cancelled on the day within 7 hours of start time, with no pay. I had no induction, no training, no safety protocols, not even a fire exit demo. I went home sick one day out of 30, and was not paid for the shift. There was a bank holiday, again no pay. There was no shift manager ever, I didn’t know my colleagues names. Agency staff were threatened to be mass sacked on my first day because of poor performance, and in 30 days at least 5 staff were sacked and 5 replacements. This company is run by a kid who probably employs his mates. And you can tell. Zero professionalism or respect for others. Avoid this agency at all costs, there are many others. No holiday accrued, no sick pay, late notice of shift cancellation, failure to provide adequate PPE. Absolute joke of a business. I am chasing owed monies and I will turn up to the office to confront these kids if I don’t receive monies.

Same here as I work occasionally for a while now they decide to cut hours and always have to chase for rights amount, no holiday, no sick pay.

I had such a great experience with Sian. From the moment she called me about the role, she was helpful, upbeat, and full of useful information. Workchain took me on as a new pass hgv class 2 driver in October about 1 month after passing my test. They found me work straight away and found me a temporary to permanent job which I am currently in now. Sian has been very helpful with every aspect and quickly dealing with any issues. I would recommend workchain for anybody looking for a hgv job.

They promised me a job at the FLT in Sandbach. I quit my job for them because I worked part time and wanted to have a full-time job. They tricked me and this job is in Middlewich! I have a small child .I can't go that far because it's extra cost.I don't have a job nowI gave up my part time job for them. I can't go back for my old job. . It's Christmas . They just told me sorry, no problem. I don't recommend them to anyone. SCAMMERS!

I have been using workchain for agency drivers for the last three years, over the last 12 months the quality of there drivers has fallen drastically, resulting in two serious accidents which has cost us a substantial amount of money. I would avoid and look elsewhere for drivers
