I have just returned from my first Trailfinders holiday and I can honestly say that it was the best holiday of my life! Trailfinders is an amazing company offering first rate travel advice and knowledge and at a highly competitive price - indeed cheaper than any other travel agent I tried both instore and online!
I booked my holiday last year at the Liverpool Office and was provided with excellent advice and assistance by Owen Jones (now working at Head Office) who planned and arranged my safari to Tanzania and a week at the Ocean Paradise Resort & Spa on Zanzibar. The whole holiday was just perfect in every respect and undoubtedly the experience of a lifetime. I can’t thank him and Trailfinders enough - definitely the experts in travel and holidays.

I rang Trailfinders to enquire whether they could arrange a City Break to two Cities. The representative that I spoke to, Zoe Morgan, confirmed that they would be happy to prepare an itinerary and proceeded to do so.
The process took over 1 hour but I was kept advised of what was happening, with regular questions and conversation. Eventually, I was presented by e-mail with an itinerary that covered suitable flights and accommodation and advised that the quote would be held open to allow me to contact and discuss the trip with my travelling companion.
Unfortunately, my companion due to circumstances was unable to commit to the trip so I did not take up the option.
However, I cannot praise highly enough the attitude, manner, enthusiasm and professionalism of the Rep, Zoe, in preparing the itinerary and was disappointed in not being able to take the trip.
Based on this experience I highly recommend this Company and will definitely use them in the future.

Agent understood exactly what i wanted to do and we completed the trip variation. She patiently waited for me to log in again so as to be able to pay. Then she was informative about about prospective future trip.

Trailfinders have asked for a review. On Sunday 18 October in the afternoon we were in a hotel room in London relaxing before travelling to Heathrow the following morning to depart on a holiday of a lifetime in Kenya. At about 3 pm we received a message from British Airways ( not Trailfinders) informing us as of 5 October Kenya had added an additional entry requirement. This should be applied for at least two weeks prior to departure. Without it we were likely to be refused entry and put on a plane home. Trailfinders staff had no knowledge of this new requirement and were unable to help apart from offering to pay as “ a good will gesture”. The following day we returned home. The day after Trailfinders sent out a message advising customers of this change. We are still waiting to hear from Trailfinders.

Great service from Karen at Trailfinders in Liverpool. She listened to what we wanted and came up with a brilliant package. We subsequently requested a few changes and she accommodated all of them without complaint. She updated us regularly and checked we had everything we needed before our trip. We will definitely use her again.

James’s confidence and ability to drill down quickly to what type of traveller I am made this a super simple and enjoyable process. Far from dreading the holiday as I usually do, I now feel excited!

Unfortunatley an error on the part of Trailfinders had our party miss The famous Moon party ,this was a specific request to the company at our own expense at time of booking.The question that needs answering is who is responsible for the error?Whilst Trailfinders is a highly reputable company i do feel somewhat dissapointed as they in agreement with our party were not dilligent on this occassion.

Initially spoke to Jamie and he was really good at taking our requirements and sending a proposal. Chloe picked up after that and she was nothing short of brilliant. We changed small things about our honeymoon trip several times. Nothing was too much for Chloe. She worked to get us upgrades for the boat in Lan Ha and adjusted dates and nights and locations till everything was perfect. And after all our changes and requests we came in just £7 over budget. We have just returned from an amazing holiday to Australia via Singapore, and it was everything we could have wished for. The entire trip was planned perfectly and effortlessly by Joseph, who understood exactly what we wanted from our fly-drive holiday, including time spent with family in Sydney.

Every check-in and car hire collection and drop-off was seamless, with no confusion or lengthy waits, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sights and our hotel stays from the very beginning.

On arrival in Singapore, we paid a little extra for an early hotel check-in, as we arrived well before the usual 3pm check-in time and were feeling tired after our journey. It was absolutely worth it, as having the opportunity to catch up on some sleep meant we were refreshed and ready to start enjoying our holiday.

As our holiday spanned three weeks and seven different hotel stays, having laundry facilities at some of the hotels was a real blessing. We loved the variety of accommodation along our route from Sydney to Brisbane, from boho-style and farmstay apartments to ultra-modern interiors and breathtaking tropical rainforest treetop views in Suffolk Park, near Byron Bay.

We enjoyed a wonderful mix of experiences, exploring vibrant city life, beautiful botanical gardens and stunning beaches, as well as sampling wines in the Hunter Valley.

Our three-night stopover in Singapore was fantastic, giving us time to admire the stunning architecture, soak up the fascinating history and enjoy a spot of shopping on Orchard Road, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from our hotel. A hotel with a pool was perfect to end the day to cool down and refresh us after our site seeing.

All of this was down to Joseph's excellent planning and attention to detail. It was probably the easiest holiday we have ever booked, which is quite remarkable considering how much we managed to see and do over the three weeks!

A huge thank you to Trailfinders, the really helpful detailed App which I used from booking and all throughout the holiday, and to Joseph for making our holiday so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you!
