Lack of communication and very slow service

Through my own mistake I had to cancel an online order, I called the next morning and was answered immediately, my cancellation was dealt with straight away with my payment credited back to my account within the hour.
First class service, I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Not the product advertised. Gt85 With
PTFE. The newer PTFE free product delivered. Only bought it because ToolsToday advertised it with PTFE.
The delivery note even says with PTF 😖

Great service from the team. I initially contacted them with a view to purchasing a ride on mower that they had advertised. On contacting the company I spoke with Dan and after discussing my requirements he recommended an Atco ride on mower. This mower had higher specifications and was actually less costly than the one during my initial enquiry. I then spoke with Adam who arranged for delivery to my home address which is north of Dundee in Scotland. The mower arrived 3 days later in immaculate condition having been so well packaged for the transportation. This on its own was an exceptional service. I couldn’t be more pleased with the mower and with the service I received from the company. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I would highly recommend the company to anyone.

Ordered a Stihl AP300S battery whilst on offer. Good price and fast DPD delivery following my order There the positive experience ended!
Decided to return with the intention of placing another order for the new All Pro battery instead, as it's lighter and has new tabless technology. Used the Toolstoday recommended DPD drop off service which took 5 days to get back to Toolstoday.
Following return I e-mailed Toolstoday to ask if they could expedite my return/refund to allow me to place a new order. Followed this up with a telephone call and a further e-mail, but as other reviewers have experienced, e-mails to the sales e-mail go unanswered, and staff seem disinterested in providing any level of customer service.
Based on my overall experience and in particular the lack of customer service, I wouldn't buy anything from Toolstoday again. If there is any chance you may need to you return your order, I'd suggest buying from another retailer.

**Update. Your terms and conditions allow return within 28days. As your response confirms, my return was within that time frame, so what is the relevance of your comment [return] “3 weeks after you received it”.
I sent several emails to your sales e-mail address, I received one reply from sales on the 26/10, only after I had chased and the return: refund had been processed.
My experience of a lack of communication is consistent with others that have had negative experiences and have left reviews.
You refer to having done nothing wrong, but customer reviews are just that,….reviews of customer experience which you can choose to act on, or dismiss (as you appear to have chosen to do).

First time customer and like all internet orders, you worry a little. Mistakes happen, and when we were sent the wrong item (same brand, different product), it was dealt with efficiently and in a courteous manner by Annah. Any company can sell you something, it's how they deal with issues that matters.

I recently contacted ToolsToday enquiring about one of the ride on mowers that they had for sale. I spoke with Dan who provided excellent advice regarding which mower to opt for and I bought an Atco ride on mower from them. It actually cost less than the one that I had enquired about and was a superior mower. The negation was flawless and I spoke with Adam to arrange delivery. The mower was delivered to our premises north of Dundee in Scotland in a few days which was in itself an excellent service. The mower was very well packaged and arrived flawless. It’s one of the best mowers that I’ve bought. The guys provided an excellent service and I highly recommend the company. I’ll be back for sure. WS.
