Aayan started off the lesson strong and straight to the point - on top of that, the techniques he provided for my UCAT were incredibly informative and helpful and most importantly, very affordable!

I find this a very straightforward and honest agency. many others have hidden fees and extra costs but with Tutor Hunt it's much more clear and simple. Our tutor is excellent (Lucy, Mandarin teacher) and my daughter is finding the lessons very beneficial.

My daughter has found her A Level Mathematics lessons with Claude extremely helpful.
He explains concepts clearly and in a way that is easy to understand.
Claude is very patient, takes the time to listen to her questions, and is always willing to explain topics again whenever needed. His supportive and encouraging approach has really helped to build her confidence and understanding of the subject.

My son has had a trial lesson with Nicky for maths. Jack and I found her to have a very calm nature and Jack felt very relaxed in her presence. She understands what Jack needs to get him where he wants to be. After the lesson Jack was happy and I could already see he felt more confident in his ability. He is very much looking to having further lessons with Nicky.

Tutor Hunt has been really useful and easy to use to find tutors for my son. The tutor we have for English has don’t her first half term and is lovely and already giving my son bundles of confidence in his ability. So far so good!

I have encountered a situation with Tutor Hunt that mirrors the frustrations expressed by others. Despite holding a valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, the agency refused to recognise it. As many professionals in this field understand, an Enhanced DBS certificate provides a comprehensive history, and any subsequent incidents would be reflected therein should a parent require verification.

The requirement for a so-called "up-to-date" DBS certificate appears to be an unnecessary financial imposition rather than a genuine safeguarding necessity. Furthermore, the commission structure, ranging from 32% to 40%, combined with concerns regarding the authenticity of reviews, suggests that this agency does not prioritise the interests of its tutors. It is time for professionals to transition towards more reliable and transparent agencies. I have personally experienced success with a different agency—which I shall not name, though its name evokes the image of an esteemed professor—and I encourage my fellow tutors to seek out platforms that respect our expertise, hard work, and preparation. We deserve to be treated with professional integrity; it is time to move on to better alternatives.

Really grateful to have found such a wonderful GCSE maths tutor for my daughter who is neurodiverse. Leon has been a brilliant communicator and my daughter’s confidence has steadily increased. Highly recommend.

I used tutor hunt to arrange lessons for my son's GCSE maths exam. Even though I left it quite late, I was in contact with several tutors. The tutor we found, Rachel, was super, or according to my son 'Great, just great'.

We were very lucky to find Joseph through Tutor Hunt. He has been a fantastic tutor for our daughter and has helped her a great deal over the past months.
