I have ordered £88.45 worth gift for my friends wedding anniversary from this scam company.
My order never arrived.
Thieves from Smart gift co admitted that my order has been successfully delivered to different address and my responsibility is to collect it.
Royal mail has not left any notification where they left my parcel.

Appalling Service. Ordered a £65 gift for a friend in hospital and on completion of correct delivery address, they sent it to my billing address 2 weeks later! Nobody there, so they just threw it over the fence! Upon my return I found a very soggy box that’s no good to anyone.

Dont want to even give 1 star. I haven't ordered anything from this company but today received an email saying about redelivery from Royal Mail. Obviously a scam as others have stated.

As others have already reported I got an email supposedly from Royal Mail. Forwarded it to Action Fraud. DO NOT TRUST IT

Scammers and con artists sending out Royal Mail Tracking emails with a bogus tracking number claiming fee to be paid.
THERE IS NO LETTER M AT THE END OF THE BOGUS
ROYAL MAIL SENDER ADDRESS IT ENDS IN .CO
Go to the genuine Royal Mail website tracking and type in the bogus tracking number on the scam email.
You'll see for yourself it doesn't exist.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! Order arrived with a different prosecco than what was advertised. What I got wasn't what I ordered or advertised. When queried they spout about they swap for similar... no where that I could find this policy stated on their website.
Offered a refund to be fair if i send the item back, but as the item was a gift and it comes pre wrapped couldn't see what was in it until it was opened, and then can hardly take it back off the recipient

My order was left by their courier in an insecure, publicly visible spot without my consent and was not in the stated place when I checked. I have not received the order. Despite this, the company refused to take responsibility or following this up with their courier service, instead blaming me and claiming their role ended once a photo was provided. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the seller remains responsible until goods are safely delivered into the customer's possession, which did not happen here. I am unable to resolve this with the courier as they hold the contract with them and so I am left without options and they have stopped responding to my emails. There is no number to call (unsurprisingly!). When I suggested I would dispute the payment with my bank (as is my right) they threatened a CCJ against me! Having read other reviews I now feel like this could be a fraudulent company and my experience would confirm this as they are failing to follow consumer law.
Extremely bad service - dismissive responses, threats and no accountability. I will not be ordering again.

Just received an email in my junk folder claiming to be from Royal Mail. The R M address looks genuine, but something felt off.

The email stated the following — Your parcel from Smart Gift Solutions couldn't be delivered on: 20 June 2025

You need to make payment for your parcel to be delivered.

I checked the tracking number via the authentic website, and it wasn't recognised. I'm glad I checked Trustpilot too.

The email has been forwarded to report@phishing . gov

Probably the most authentic looking scam attempt I have experienced. The Royal Mail e-mail looked entirely genuine just a doubt about referring to me by e-mail address and obviously the unexpected payment for re-delivery of parcel. The strangest thing of all was that the person who send it appeared to know much more about me that just a random message.

Scam email received from a very convincing email address for Royal Mail asking me to pay a charge for redelivery.

I ordered an anniversary gift for my wife 4 days prior to the date and gave specific instructions on when to deliver, when it wasn't delivered on the day I figured it was running late, and she would get it the next only to receive an email stating they had run out of stock and my money had been returned, this left me with egg on my face for not remembering my anniversary as it left me no time to purchase another gift.

Pretended to be royal mail saying my parcel couldn't be delivered, clicked the link and it asked for my date of birth which genuine royal mail never dose.
Then put the tracking number through the proper royal mail site and it says: this tracking number dosent exist, and access denied.
Upon further research I have been led here, which has confirmed this is nothing but a disgusting SCAM. If you receive an email from this scam company just delete it, as it's just a bunch of fraudsters trying to gain your personal information.

If you've come here because you've received an email from Royal Mail because you've apparently missed a parcel from Smart Gift Solutions, it's a SCAM. Royal Mail would never ask you for your date of birth. Lots of red flags within the email, so please be careful guys. These people really are scum bags. I'm just glad I'm smart enough not to fall for it.

Received a Royal Mail email scam too. Beware..

Just like others I have just received an email to say failed to make a delivery on the 8th sept when I haven’t been anywhere. When I went into email they asked for name, address & date of birth which was a red flag. Went onto Royal Mail ap and tracking code not recognised.
