I purchased a modular office a couple of years ago now and from the day it was installed it’s been amazing, I recently logged a ticket as the heat caused an issue with one of my windows, logged a ticket and a engineer turned up resolved the issue and checked if he (Tony) could see any other issues. The service is still as good as when I first had it installed, they really do care.

Door on studio was jammed so Tony came by and fixed it. Excellent service and he even fixed the loose panel on the base of the studio while he was here. Highly recommended.

We´ve just had a visit from Tony who came to sort out a small problem with the floor-wall connection. Smart reacted extremely quickly to my request and Tony did a fantastic job. It was good to see him again after six years when he came to install the garden house! He also did some maintenance jobs without being asked to - much appreciated Tony!

We had a fantastic service from SMART, from start to finish the consultants listen to our request and advised us accordingly. Even when we had an issue on site after the first day, the company owner came in person to help resolve it. The 2 fitters were outstanding, their work ethic was second to none. Although on occasion language was a little barrier, this was quickly resolved with the help of Google Translate and did not take away from us developing a strong trusting customer focused relationship. I would totally recommend.

The team at SMB provide a great service from the initial online design tools through to the sales and design support we have received. Lusia has gone above and beyond to understand our needs and come forward with creative solutions. Rob has also been excellent in surveying the site and preparing the details in preparation for a smooth install. We are grateful to the team and look forward to the next stage as we prepare for the building work to begin.

Tony arrived on time and completed the work as planned. Took the time to identify and correct minor defects beyond the initial ask. Very friendly and helpful and all work carried out to a high standard. Really impressed with the aftercare shown by SMART Modular Buildings.

Tony G worked his absolute socks off (and on one of the hottest days of the year so far) to fix a problem with my garden office pitching to one side.
I wasn't expecting the problem to be fixed there and then, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to solve it either but he did!!
He worked amazingly hard, was very polite and helpful in answering my questions and overall did a fantastic job.

We had a fantastic experience with Smart Modular Buildings. They transformed an unused 30-square-meter patch into a beautiful modular house. From the start, their responsiveness stood out—they listened carefully to all our design specifications and provided clear sketches and transparent cost breakdowns. They were very thorough with questions about warranties and permissions.

The build itself took about three to four weeks, and the builders were polite, trustworthy, and efficient. Even when we had to leave them unattended, everything went smoothly. There were a few hiccups with late deliveries, but the project manager handled them well and kept us updated.

The final result matched our specifications perfectly. The only minor critique was the language barrier with some of the team, but they still managed to communicate effectively. Overall, highly recommended for quality, trustworthiness, and a great finished product.

We have just finished our new garden room and we are over the moon with it. We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. We had our first consultation with SMART in early March. From design to completion it has taken 3 months which included the demolition of an existing outbuilding, site clearing and a new base. We approached SMART given that they are a local company. The team, Paul, Luisa and Lucy, have all been exceptional in terms of their engagement and communication whilst the team who built our summerhouse under Mark’s leadership, all did a fantastic job. The quality of work and finish is excellent. A special mention again to Paul who has been a joy to have around as project manager. Couldn’t be more helpful and proactive and we are so grateful for his ideas and enthusiasm. For anyone thinking about having a summerhouse built we highly recommend the services of SMART Modular Buildings. We can’t wait to make full use of our new summerhouse!

We had a very bad experience with Smart Modular Buildings( SMB)The project took over a year to complete due to ongoing problems and mismanagement. No onsite SMB Project Manager was present at any time during the work and the work was subcontracted with different builders throughout. They did not follow the plans which resulted in delays and stressful conversation with the Smart Office. There is still an outstanding issue that they will not take responsibility for.

Tony G came to repair the garden office. He was friendly, polite and efficient. A true asset to the company.

Very professional, explained in details, despite i ve tried to minimise the costs, I think i cant afford it, the price is too high for me.

I rang in the Monday and Tony G was with me on the Tuesday. He has great work ethic and is friendly and very knowledgable. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys always delivering high grade service,I highly recommend Smart buildings. We have had our office for nearly 4 years and absolutely love it. Great quality.

We have just started the process of surveying for a new outside “house” as permanent residence for aging relatives. Luisa in the sales office was particularly helpful and Rob visited on site. So far happy with informative site visit and found SMART to be very professional. Looking forward to receiving a competitive quote and starting the work.

My garden room is lovely to look at on the surface but after seeing some of the reviews and having lived with it for nearly 3 years I wish I’d spoken up about some of the lack of attention to detail and carelessness of my build ( I’m not sure if it’s too late now ?!) this includes poor carpentry hidden by silicone, a hole by a plug socket where it has been cut too large and not all of the fittings for the conections outside been fitted ( this has resulted in them becoming loose and popping off ! - I only noticed this today when one totally fell off as I was trying to push it back into place and when I looked at all of them all had at least 2 or 3 fixtures missing ), also the majority of the silicone around the building is starting to lift and peel … I wouldn’t expect this so early on!

I have now had to report an issue with pockets of swelling my on interior walls and I am worried that this is another symptom of this carelessness :( I hope it can be fixed

So far a flawless and excellent experience, which bodes very well for the rest of the project.
