My experience at Sheinman’s has always…
My experience at Sheinman’s has always been very good but my most recent involvement has been exceptionally good. Martin took the trouble to locate a supplier of frames without nose pads which are no longer available in UK. He ordered them from Japan and took considerable trouble in fitting them to make sure I was completely happy with them and with the super thin light weight lenses.

Poor Customer Service
Went in for a tiny screw for my sunglasses .... you haven't done my eyes but I've spent enough at Sheinmans on my son's glasses and continuous purchase of contact lenses for him. No can do!!! Not interested even though your glasses fitters were hanging around doing NOTHING! A small screw would have taken a minute or 2 to fit. Went to Boots opticians and a charming man found a screw and fitted it in less that 2 minutes - no charge! Won't be going to Sheinmans again, rubbish customer service! Boots gets my business in future!

We would normally be very happy to replace a small screw and make a minor adjustment such as this free of charge, regardless of whether the glasses were originally purchased from us. From what you have described, it appears there may have been a miscommunication between our reception team and the dispensing optician on this occasion.
We’re sorry that we didn’t provide the level of service you quite reasonably expected from us, particularly given your family’s previous visits. We will discuss this with the team to help ensure a similar situation doesn’t happen again.

Amazing Customer Service
We have used Sheinman Opticians over many years and are always amazed at how the staff manage to make what could be rather a chore; eye care and choosing frames, into a calm and enjoyable experience. We have young children and they also enjoy a visit to Sheinmans, they enjoy the games on the ipads, and on our most recent visit were given a lindt chocolate. Thank you for all your hard work.

Staff very helpful but let down by…
Staff very helpful but let down by suppliers.The glasses arrived but there was something wrong with them and they had to be returned to Italy I believe.I'm still waiting. But as I said the staff are very helpful

Unfortunately, there was an issue with the glasses when they arrived which meant they had to be returned to the manufacturer for correction. We carry out stringent checks on all glasses when they arrive at the practice to ensure they meet our quality standards, and on this occasion the issue was identified during these checks before we were able to dispense them to you.
We completely understand how frustrating it is to have to wait longer than expected, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. We’re doing everything we can to get your glasses back to you as soon as possible, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding.
