The area itself is lovely, and the house had the potential to be fantastic, but unfortunately the lack of care and attention to detail during the handover process has been extremely disappointing.

The property was handed over before it was genuinely in a complete state. I had a professional snagger attend before any decorating or personal work was carried out, yet I still discovered an additional 35 issues myself afterwards. The most concerning was an unfinished wall leading to the garage, where the door I paid extra for was installed but not finished. This should never have been signed off as complete, and 21 days after moving in it is still not fully resolved.

Alongside this, we have experienced further issues including low water pressure, French doors that do not lock correctly, and gates that placed on our driveway.

The location and the overall design of the house are great, and with the right level of care during construction and finishing it could have been a fantastic home. Unfortunately, the poor standard of finishing and the lack of attention before handover have really let Persimmon down. A new build should feel like a fresh start, not an ongoing list of unresolved issues.

The sales process was straight forward with good communication and updates.
The customer relationship contact Steve based onsite is a credit to the company with the attention to detail professionalism good service and communication and able to resolve issues or problems with pace.
Customer care team have been very good with good communication and fast acting on any issues that you have.

Had an emergency call out due to front door not locking. Called the north east customer care team and spoke to Jackie who was excellent and arranged someone to come round from the site. Gary Clelland was here within 8 minutes (right time, right place) and had the part required to fix the issue. A great job. Thank you!

The process of buying and moving into Persimmon Trelawny Place has been brilliant. The sales team were fantastic and supported me throughout the fuss free process.

Once moved in, the on site team made themselves known and both Danny & Billy checked in frequently to ensure they were aware of any issues.

Nothing has been too much trouble for Danny, and he has ensured the minor snagging has been completed quickly and to a high standard. I would highly recommend.

As the landowner of Moss Side Lake, Maghull (google it - Liverpool Echo) Persimmon has, in my experience, failed to address longstanding concerns about its condition despite repeated reports from residents over several years.

The lake has deteriorated to the point where an emergency fish rescue became necessary today. Approximately 35–40 large carp and at least 150 smaller fish were removed, along with what appeared to be a European eel, a critically endangered and protected species.

Residents understand that the Environment Agency had previously raised concerns about the condition of the lake, yet the situation continued to worsen.

A Letter Before Action was served on 22 May, but despite the seriousness of the issues raised, no substantive response has been received.

Residents deserve timely communication, accountability and action. It should never have taken years, and an emergency fish rescue, for this situation to receive the attention it required.

Charlotte and Jodie are so lovely; they supported us every step of the way with our purchase. Ami handled our Part Exchange, ensuring everything went smoothly. We bought a Persimmon home on the Tawcroft estate in Barnstaple it was a very poor experience with the homes being finished late and to a poor standard with lots of snagging including flooding in the gardens the management kept changing and the communication was non existent when they finished phase 1 they left the estate and have not kept the green areas tidy there are weeds everywhere! They are due to start phase 2 with only one access road in and out for the current residents and thus will be used for heavy site traffic bulldozers etc as well as another 240 homes which is not sustainable

I will review this from our first initial dealings with Persimmon.
Karla & Lucy are great! Very helpful and have helped us in every way they could. We initially enquired about PX but the offer made what not substantial enough. We decided to sell privately and was advised a plot was being held, however, once sold we were told the plot had been sold to another buyer (head office decision).
Nevertheless, luckily, another plot came up for grabs. Persimmon pulled it out the bag for us.
We are now in and getting settled. We have got snags- to be expected- but the after sales team are on it. Let’s hope it continues because I’m not sure we get to review again haha.
The Site Manager, Graham, is a great guy. He goes above and beyond to ensure you’re happy.
Overall a great experience so far and most of all we love our new home!!

Persimmon is a place that bring ur dream to reality, for me it started like a dream because I walked in with the mind of just to made an enquiry and walked out but Mary , Sion make me comfortable and which made me to have changed of mind , they made the whole process was so smooth and easy without needing to break bank .

The Persimmon Sales Office team, Izzy and Tim, were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our new home purchase.

Their support went above and beyond what we expected. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes, liaising with our solicitor and mortgage adviser and doing everything they could to keep the process moving forward. Their dedication, communication, and willingness to help made what can be a stressful experience much smoother.
