I would like to make people aware of what I believe is a horrible and extremely questionable selling tactic.
Legacy Wills are never upfront or in any way transparent with their ultimate goal and that is, to get as much money out of you as possible.
They initially offer a cheap basic Will at around £19.99 this went to £29.99 this is quickly followed up by a telephone call to ensure that what you asked is accurate, however during this call they admit that the basic Will is worthless unless you put LPA’s and a discretionary trust in place, obviously this comes at an additional cost (which also happens to have a convenient £200 discount) so by the second call, your £19.99 Will is now almost £1700.
Thinking that everything is now in place, you then receive a 3rd telephone call on the pretence that this is to ensure everything is accurate pre-drafting the Will.
During this conversation, it is explained that the trust set up is only on death and that a living trust is the only way to ensure everything is properly protected, this is in addition to ‘other’ things discussed……at this juncture, you are just waiting for the killer line “The cost for this is” at this point, I fell off my chair having been told that the costs will be an additional £2700 which can be paid in full or in instalments!!
So, ultimately your £19.99 investment into a Will has now escalated to a financial outlay of almost £5000.
Then when you call you keep getting a bot and can’t talk directly to anyone ridiculous
Then we had another phone call saying they wanted our deeds to the property and our home insurance which was the highest you could have would have to be done though there own home insurance company alarm bells started ringing then so we cancelled but cause we were 2 days over the 14 days cancellation period they wanted £2,500 to cancel we believed the 14 days were applicable when we signed the documents but no it was the finance we took out they really done us over we are both pensioners and was really forced into this as we didn’t understand what was happening we were never called to tell us of our 14day cancellation period and are now fighting this 
I am convinced that many, especially vulnerable people have fallen into this trap and ended up coughing up far more than they expected to pay?
Their selling tactics are extremely questionable, they are certainly NOT transparent with customers. Much of what is communicated could be done all up front at the initial telephone call to allow people to decide there an then, if we had known the full price at the beginning we would never of took it out they play on your conscious and fears with each call to increase the costs I cancelled but because of there tactics we were 2 days over PLEASE be aware of their selling methods and go in with both eyes open - You will NOT just buy a £19.99 Will. They are out to rob you

I don’t believe what your saying not once did you mention while on the telephone conversations did you say you have 14 days in which to change your mind that’s why I have requested the telephone conversations with you we are pensioners and we believe we were forced into this with all your sales talk and you still want nearly £2,000 of us to close this case also never mentioned the £529.99 deposit we paid

Please do not be fooled by the offer price..final price once pushy sales people finish is closer to £1700 ...awful experience if you try to contact them .
Automated phone call .I coughed they hung up and sent me a text with a better price even tho had paid..13 calls/ emails later gave up ...then the phone call ..harks back to the old double glazing sales people with 'opportunities'. Pure hard core sales pitch .

I dont think the process could have been any better.
The person I talked to while setting up the will was clearly very knowledgeable and was able to deal with both what I wanted and specifically didn't want. He brought things to light that I never would have thought of to ensure everything I want to happen will happen.

Clear and informed process

Legacy made the will process easy to understand answering all our questions.

Unfortunately I can't remember the ladies name, but she was very thorough and professional. Everything was explained to us in a way that we understood.

I would highly recommend using legacy wills.
