Ordered two blinds from Luxaflex in June 2024. They were $2k apiece, so not cheap. One arrived dead on arrival. It took over 3 months to repair. Little to no communication. When it finally arrived back it was the wrong size - unbelievable. I was told the CEO would call me with an apology/update, haven't heard from him (no surprises there). Now it's May, and we are approaching a year since this saga started. I still don't have my blind. Writing this post in utter frustration. They simply don't care. Dreadful company. AVOID.
Spent a small fortune on these blinds and it’s been one problem after another… the biggest issue has been ‘fly spots’… as soon as a fly lands on them a ‘hole’ appears on the blind. They replaced them once but because the product is fundamentally flawed, one year on and we are back to square one and they look awful. It’s never the fault of the product in their eyes - we must have a fly infestation (we don’t, just the usual one or two gets in the house, that’s all it takes) or we must be cleaning them incorrectly. Buyer beware, go elsewhere!
I reported an issue with the pull cord on my Duette blind in June 2021 (blinds were only a year old).
They didn't send someone to look at it until July apparently due to waiting for a new part to arrive. Then when the person they sent pulled it off the window he couldn't work out how to reassemble it, and had to take the whole blind off the window and return it to the factory in Tauranga (which is 30 minutes from my house) and then I heard nothing until mid September! They just totally ghosted me - in the time since I reported the fault until my blind was returned, ELEVEN WEEKS passed.
And when I finally got it back after my local agent tried multiple times to get in touch with them on my behalf for an update, they sent a contractor to reinstall it, and didn't even explain or apologise - to this day I have never been contacted by Luxaflex directly about this. Now my second blind is starting to fail, and I've only had them since July 2020.
I do not recommend this company, or their shoddy products.
