I am very pleased with the service that I have recieved.Mr Aaron was so kind and Patient with me , and I was not overwhelmed at all. He explain everything nicely and even offered to wait for me to get home so that I could gather all my details . I am glad to have interacted with him . He is doing a great job and I pray that many more potential TEFL teachers are reached by him.
I Lost My Job Because of i-to-i’s Delays, Deeply Disappointed!
I signed up for my TEFL certificate with i-to-i thinking it would be a smooth, professional experience but it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. I set my own goal to finish by August because I needed the certificate for a job I had already secured. Instead, the endless back-and-forth with tutors and the painfully slow feedback process cost me that opportunity. Feedback takes weeks (sometimes 2–3 weeks) instead of the promised 7 days and when it finally arrives, it’s vague and generic until you pay again to extend your access! My subscription expired in September 2025, I paid to extend it and now (November 2025) they’re asking for another payment just to see my feedback again. 💔
It’s been five months of waiting, paying, and hoping and I still don’t have my certificate. I’m unemployed now because of this delay. I feel scammed and deeply disappointed. i-to-i should be honest about how long the process really takes and the extra costs involved. All my time, effort and money have gone down the drain. 😭
I don’t think I’ll continue with this because it looks like it’s a never ending cycle of extensions.

I sent an email to i-to-i asking for assistance in the matter and they responded in a timely manner with my e-certificate.

Lazy!
I asked for some specific information and was given a huge cut and paste with info I had already read on the website. Not user friendly to read and costs that I asked for weren’t even in UK currency

I had requested an updated letter to indicate the courses I had passed thus far, in order to begin applying for a job.

It took a little while of talking to the relevant department, after which I had received the letter which I can upload to get an interview.
As soon as I pass the next assignment in the near future, I trust that I will receive an updated letter.
I am aware that the Diploma Certificate is only awarded after the course has been completed

Misleading Course Structure and Unfair Assignment Policies
This website actively elicits positive reviews — at each login, students are prompted to rate the course a 9 or 10. It makes me suspect the company plays an active role in generating positive reviews.
I enrolled in one of the courses hoping to teach English part-time after retiring from a 30-year career in special education. I’ve written thousands of lesson plans and hold a master’s degree, so I think I can recognize a fair and professional experience. Unfortunately, I found the course structure exploitative.
Students are allowed only a few “free” assignment submissions. Assignments can be returned for vague or overly rigid reasons, and once the free attempts are used up, students must pay extra to have their work graded. This creates a clear conflict of interest.
Along with a couple of other frivolous reasons, my lesson plan was returned because the total time added up to slightly more than 60 minutes. The feedback cited “recommended” stage times, but those were not clearly stated in the assignment instructions—only in scattered parts of the online modules. The sample assignment even says to “provide realistic timings,” and the modules use phrases like “we recommend allowing around…” which suggests flexibility. The number of minutes given by the tutor, the documents, and the online modules were all different.
This kind of nitpicking feels like a setup to generate more fees. I worry about students without a teaching background—how are they supposed to succeed without incurring extra costs?
I’ve decided not to complete the course. I’ve already wasted money; I won’t waste more time.
The company didn't contact me in regards to the complaint i made through their email system. I am not going to email their customer service. I am not asking for money back, I don't intend to have anything more to do with them.
I have something to add. They allow themselves a week to grade assignments. My first one was graded late, and only after I prompted them. They invite you to pay an extra fee of about thirty dollars to grade items in only one day. They offered me a deal to have all of my assignments graded within one day for a couple hundred dollars, but there were only three assignments which would only add up to around one hundred.
