problematic return and refund

1st order: product received, no problem
2nd order a couple months later: product received, but sending it back was an ordeal.

No updates on the return and refund. Fanatics' return website indicated it hadn't been returned yet, while the website of the transporter clearly indicated Fanatics had already received it.
No update or communication in between, I always had to enquire before them giving any updates; and the answer itself always took a long time.

Ultimately got my refund, but if I hadn't mailed Fanatics every couple of weeks, I would still be waiting on it...

Product of bad quality, returns add more costs for customers

Product of bad quality. Not something the shop can do anything about since they didn’t produce it. But the solution offered is -pay to return it- so I’m out of pocket even more. Just provide a possibility to return a product when it clearly isn’t fit for purpose and don’t ask customers to fork out more of their hard earned.
