Overpriced, trying to scam people, bad attitude

We had Everest windows come round to quote the price of our window replacement. The representative they sent had a negative from the start and seemed annoyed about traveling to our house. He was then very dismissive about the type of windows we wanted. he slated local companies saying the quality would be awful. He then quoted us an extremely high price stating they offer a premium product, but somehow they could offer us 50% off if we signed up on the day. he then questioned why we were collecting together multiple quotes, and said in future we should "do better research" before asking a company to quote. I was in the house with my partner but if I had been on my own would have felt very uncomfortable.

Paid for a new front door back in June

Paid for a new front door back in June. Was told to wait anywhere between 6-8 weeks for installation. Which I didn’t have a problem with. It’s now November Aprox 20 weeks and still no front door. Customer service is absolutely useless! Sending automated emails as a response to my emails regarding the issue, being on the phone lines passed around person to person only to have the phone hung up.

Absolute joke of a company. Monies has been paid im full and im still waiting around!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS and just go to independent retailers! You’ll probably pay a little more but at least you have peace of mind!

Great products and installation!

From the Sales rep to the removal of the Scaffolding-my experience with Everest couldn't have been better. Really surprised at some of the poor reviews-everything in my 2 windows installation went to plan. I had no problem speaking to the Office when necessary and the windows are exactly as I expected. Everyone involved turned up on time. The fitter was Matt Jarrow, who was efficient, polite and did a great job! Marie in the office was also helpful and polite. Can't fault the service!

Awful salesman

I have just had my 65 year old mother on the phone in tears about the conduct of a salesman sent by Everest. He was intimidating, pushy and rude. He pressurised my mother to buy the product and leave a deposit whilst he was in her home so much that she phoned me in tears. I have the name of the salesman, I would appreciate if somebody got in touch. Terrible service, Everest should be appalled and ashamed.

AVOID ASHI GROUP, ANGLIAN, EVEREST Appalling quality all round

Appalling quality all round. Mis-sold by salesmen / surveyor.
Main reason for change was for internal trim / bead to match others in the room, but it doesn't!
Refund promised for contracted work not fulfilled, but still waiting after two months!
Impossible to contact them even after following their complaints procedure. When you call their 0800 876 6810 CEO office number, only open 9-3 pm, you get a recorded message and then they hang up!!
48 hour response time promised by CEO office not honoured.
They came and took out and reinstalled the windows, but left with damage to our property remaining.
Swansea team constantly either on holiday or promising a call back which doesn't materialise, hence going through official complaints procedure, which doesn't work either. AVOID ANGLIAN EVEREST ASHI GROUP. Reduced quoted price in half when turned them down. Magically they said they had a price match offer on at the time .....actually their reputation was clearly going before them.
LESSON LEARNED : READ REVIEWS, ESPECIALLY ON TRUST PILOT!

Everest windows rip off company

Everest windows I thought was a very very good company. I had somebody come out from their firm to give me a quote for windows and they quoted me a price which I agree to and it was a little bit high but we we accepted that and then a week later not even well yeah it was about 6 to 7 days later they sent their surveyor out to survey my property to tell me that they wanted to charge another £4000 for lentils. I wasn’t told about this at that time and when I did hear about it which was seven of nine days later that they wanted to charge another £4000 on the quote that they charge me basically I said no I want to cancel but because Everest Windows write their own rules and basically said you’ve got a seven day cooling off period which is normally 14 but with Everest it’s seven, but the time I’d sign the contract to start with but the time they sent their surveyor out it was over the period and I put a deposit down which they charge me 20% of the full amount which was £37,000 so I basically I put a deposit down of £8325 and because I wanted to cancel because it was over there seven day period they’ve taken 20% of my £8325 deposit which totalled up to like a total of 7300 and deadly dumb this company is basically a big big rip off and I just doesn’t want anybody else to have that same problem. Everest are basically a bunch of rip-off merchants. Because they hide behind a rule of clause 9 which basically lets them allow them to basically come round and give you a quote and 56 710 days later they can change it and go by the way what we said was XYZ we’re not gonna charge you another XYZ on top of that and because you cancel they take your deposit and when I query the bank and the credit card people about this they couldn’t do nothing about it, which is an absolute joke so steer well away from Everest Windows Angling Windows all of them because they’re all the same company and all they’re out to do is Rob you and I’ll tell you what a scam absolutely amazing the credit card people go on about scams and I have been scammed massively unbelievable

Just wanted an idea of price on their website. Was hounded with sales agents calling me 5 or 6 times a day. Wouldn’t take no for an answer when I said I didn’t want to book an appointment. Too aggressive and has put me off using them.

Used Everest before

Used Everest before, new patio doors 30 years ago, need replacing.
Used Everest again, brilliant job.
Only one man installed them,,worked non stop through the rain, clean tidy and pleasant.
In my option there should have been two men?
Will use Everest again.

The man lied.

A salesman visited to measure up and quote. The quote was very high and came with the typical sales pressure that this 'special discount' was only available till Friday.
He lied several times:
1. He claimed the low iron glass they use would reduce infrared transition, and more so the higher the angle of the sun. This is not true. Low iron glass is clearer than normal glass and transmits more heat, while all glass transmits less at greater angles due to reflection.
2. He claimed other local company's UPVS would yellow within 5 years. Not true. The all use UV stabilised materials, guaranteed not to yellow for 10 years.
3. He claimed other companies did not do 6-point measuring to accurately fit non-rectangular openings, so would use foam filler and trim pieces while Everest would not. Not true. All companies do 6-pont measuring as standard. All companies, including Everest use foam filler and trims. This is how it must be done to allow for expansion and movement.
I recommend you do not use this company. I found the encounter quite unpleasant. He was a con man.
Everest have twice gone into administration in recent years and customers have lost out. I am not surprised.

High price and relentless follow up calls

Had a ridiculously high quote given to me, sent email rejecting the quote, since then I have been plagued by phone calls and emails from them, and now just had a call at 4 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon from them by someone who had a serious attitude problem. Do better Everest! Will definitely not be recommending you. Relentless

I had a brilliant experience with Everest

I had a brilliant experience with Everest right from the first quote enquiry, to the installation of all 6 of my flat windows. Gurpreet and Surgit were the installers and they were particularly efficient and helpful, making the process very smooth from their arrival to completion. The windows look great in my flat (which for reference is a period, victorian flat with bay windows). I was worried secondary glazing would lose the architectural look, but they look great and already have noticed the sound-proof nature. Thank you!

Well similar experience to alot of people here. My appointment was booked today for 10 am. I was absolutely pestered with calls and texts I did call back my appointment was confirmed for 10 am today. No show , no email, no response to text night before when I explained I was working and couldn't answer the phone. Nothing on the day. However given the reviews ... I may have dodged a bullet.

Bunch of cowboys

Bunch of cowboys! We ordered a door with a spy hole but the door that arrived, didn’t have one. We contacted Everest to ask for one to be fitted and they arranged for someone to come the following week to fit it.
That was 5 weeks ago, and it’s still not happened. I have contacted them several times since and keep being told that someone will come out. Still nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service.
Once they have your money, they couldn’t care less.

Stressful and difficult ordering

Stressful and difficult ordering process. Unprofessional, amateur salesman and service. I don't expect salesperson to turn up with a relative sitting in the car! Error strewn quote with misinformation. Poor customer communication.

Everest great scaffolding company not so much

From Everest coming to give a quote, to surveyor and installation we found them to be great, only downside is the company they use for scaffolding, this company didn't give any indication when they'd come and I had to chase through Everest to get taken down which was 10 days after completion by Everest. They're customer service team were friendly and of great assistance and are a credit to them.

Expect customers to do quotation work

I contacted Everest online to ask for a quote for French windows. I received an email saying "Thank you for requesting an appointment with Everest, we are really excited to have the opportunity to explain our range of products" and then a phone call from Everest (who now seem to be linked with Anglian Home Improvements), booking an appointment for an Everest agent to come to my home, measure up, show me samples and photos, and discuss the options with me. However, instead of Everest arriving as planned, someone from Everest rang me about an hour before the appointment saying that the Everest person had had a domestic emergency and couldn't come - I should take the measurements and some photos, and then Everest would base their quote on that. I said I'd rather reschedule the appointment. He didn't sound too keen on that, and said he'd have to ring me back. He rang an hour or so later, and asked me to take all the measurements and some photos and email them to someone at Everest, which was a bit odd as I'd already explained to him that I wanted to reschedule the appointment. He then said the Everest person for my area would be off work for ages, probably months, who knew how long, but went on to say that my home was too far to come and the work wouldn't be worth it. This sounded more realistic than the mystery agent for my area with the sudden domestic emergency who would probably never be available again. I've already had some replacement double glazed windows fitted, so I know the drill about how things proceed, and it didn't include me doing the quotation work, and signing a contract before their surveyor arrived, or not, to finalise things. I'll pay my money for new French windows to a company that shows a bit more interest in doing the work.
