Great value and really efficient service

Arrived on time, well packaged, good service would recommend

Extremely disappointed with Dobies, who not only failed to deliver on an order (order no. SO017481064 in case any Dobies people are reading) but lied to me when I made an enquiry. I ordered 2 pre-planted hanging baskets on 28 October 2026 and when the tracking link indicated a delay I called Dobies customer service and was told not to be concerned as the tracking link was "only a guideline". A week later I called again and was told that the tracking link had, in fact, been accurate and that it looked like they had been lost in transit and in addition no replacement could be provided as they were now out of stock. Needless to say, I will not be using Dobies again. The lady I spoke to today was lovely and did provide a refund, but judging my overall experience Dobies has been one of the most incompetent mail order companies and definitely has the most unprofessional customer service department I have ever dealt with.

Number of bulbs ordered was different to what i received

I still haven’t received my order!
Really disappointed.
I contacted dobies to request that my delivery charge be reduced or a total refund but that was dismissed.
If I receive my order soon I will review the product. Fingers crossed.

So good to deal with a company who do exactly what their business is, without fancy (and confusing) additions or subtractions. I’m looking forward to next season’s gardening and hope it will be more normal than 2026. This year I managed to outwit the muntjac by building stockades round the beans, and courgettes and borrowing some old but still effective wire tunnels for the spinach etc. As last year, the muntjac left the parsley and celery leaves severely alone!! Watch this space for results of 227, by which time I will be 82.

Found what I was looking for straight away

Good communication and value for money, speedy delivery

Plants delivered in great condition. As advised, gave them a drink and they wee ready to plant out. One week on and they are all doing well.

I was disappointed when I order what I thought was a selection of 12 perennials ( the adjacent pictured showed a mixture ) and I received 12 identical plants .I emailed Dobies and they said the variety was if you bought the plugs ! I felt the advert was misleading The plants however were packed very well and arrived looking healthy

Quick and efficient service

Only one box out of 3 has arrived and that was delivered to the wrong address. Please give me a refund and collect the single box.
