Channel 4 Reviews 

I like channel 4 because they have a lot of tv shows that Netflix has taken down
But why do I pay for channel 4+ and still have adverts. Annoying.

It’s bad enough being bombarded in the ad breaks now you have to register online to be targeted with even more shit advertising so won’t bother watching
One less viewer for advertisers they are killing their market!!

I try to watch both BBC and Channel 4 early evening news. Does that make me a news junkie? Anyway I now think that Channel 4 News is more informative. BBC seems sometimes to pander more to the typical printed press media type of news and not cover in general. On a typical weekend BBC is more interested in sport I think. Channel 4 goes into detail on the big international issues every day. I could suggest that BBC is more inhibited, despite its vastly bigger resources. Hence the type of reporting that gets into their news programming.

Watched Jamie Oliver 20 minute meals. He made easy cheesy ham filo quiche. When he cut it, it was dripping raw egg. Yuck. Eggs should be cooked through.
He should have put it back in the oven.

Absolutely rubbish, can't believe they have the cheek to advertise go ad free, I wouldn't pay a penny, constant buffering and just useless

Worst streaming platform there is. Is perfectly capable of loading continuous adverts, but when it comes to the TV show/Film/Episodes it’s unable to even load it and sits buffering until you have to exit. I can guarantee I will have to come out of the app multiple times and reset. If my shows were on another platform I would NEVER use Channel 4. I actually get annoyed when I find out the only way to watch something is on Channel 4, and most times I won’t even bother.

I love the programmes and films on 4 however there are too many ads- 9 every break - that they completely ruin the programme you are watching. And no I refuse to pay £40 a year to remove them. As a pensioner I find that charge too much. Shame. So back to bbc.

Great content let down by a terrible streaming engine-app. No reason for this in this day and age, just sloppy!

I can't believe what a poor streaming service this is. I wanted to watch something which is only available on CH4. I usually watch Netflix or YouTube so was expecting a similar service. How wrong I was, It is slow to load, the screen constantly freezes and there are so many adverts. TBH it's an embarrassment, can't the site please be updated so that it runs properly

Adverts 24/7. I stopped watching the documentary in the end as it was driving me crazy.

What’s the point of More4? You can’t find anything that you know exists and when you watch live C4 in one region to travel
300 miles south to watch the grand finale of that same show the next day, it’s neither in live TV or More4! Absolute technical rubbish. More4 is a waste of app space.

We have decided to stop watching the Bake Off, Nigella, has shown that she no experience by way of her comments and has been trying to undermine Paul it has taken away our enjoyment. It might be the time for Channel 4 to take a grown up decision and start afresh with all the presenters including Noel, obviously NOT Paul.

Appalling number of adverts, almost taking longer than the actual show! Really disappointing.

Watched the first episode of Pierre this evening and I was bitterly disappointed. I don't think I've ever seen a more clichéd 40 minutes of TV.

Not fit for purpose. Watched half a show and then gave up due to endless buffering, excessive adverts (that work fine) and minimal actual program time. Had to exit out of the app several times to try and get it to reload and then it started back at the beginning! Will stick to other channels from now on.

Channel 4 news, just a load of interviews with a few self opinionated individuals, just a chat show now

Really surprised at Channel 4 news giving air time to Netanyahu over a scam hijacking. They should be showing what the IDF is doing to the people of Gaza. Murdering and burning children alive. Absolutely shocking they can get away with it and it goes mostly unreported

Sack the tech guys !! Impossible to watch any program without constant buffering and freezing . While all other platforms such as Netflix and Prime play flawlessly channel 4 is a disaster. Until you sort these streaming issues out you are completely useless!!

Ridiculous amount of ads, you don’t get that many watching a program on normal tv. You can’t watch anything longer than 10 minutes without getting a 5 minute long ad. Rubbish.
