Breach of guidelines
With multiple calls my account balances…
With multiple calls my account balances are not updated preventing me from using my debit card. My money was debited (check) from current bank and deposited in my accounts at CUNJ. My money is now not getting any interest accrued and just hanging out there. My CUNJ accounts show the checks were deposited on July 6 in my accounts, they have been hanging in the air for last 8 days. This has been a very disappointing experience.

Good experience overall
I recently opened a new account with the Credit Union of New Jersey. Overall, my experience was okay and the staff were helpful. The only issue I had was not knowing that when you open a new account, there can be a 10-day hold on checks before they clear and become available. I wish this had been explained more clearly during the account opening process so I could have planned accordingly. Other than that, my experience was positive and I look forward to continuing to bank with them.
