Always a very good company to deal with.

Whenever I had a problem, there was always someone on the end of the phone to answer any questions I posed. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Excellent communication, which is really important. Kaitlyn and Tee keep you posted on what's happening constantly. Quality of the printing is excellent. Very good value for money. It doesn't cost as much as you think to print your book.

I've ordered 2 sets of books and I'm very pleased with the quality of the finished product. I followed the advice for the formatting and managed to get the files correct without any changes being needed.

Once you get your head around it all it's reasonably straight forward. I like the fact that you can get estimates for any combination of book sizes, paper quality, covers, photo inserts etc.

I ordered a printed proof for the first one and an on-line pdf for the second which speeded things up a bit.

My only minor gripe was the lack of updates on the orders section. My first book seemed to be stuck at 'Binding' for about a week and took about 2 weeks in total. I emailed for an update over the weekend and on the Monday the order changed to dispatched. My second order went through without any issues.

I will be using them again for any reprints and future stuff I may produce. I would have given 9 out of 10 if that option existed and a full 5 stars had the communication been a bit better.

This is a really excellent service. As soon as I had begun the process of uploading my work I had contact and help from a member of the team, who kept in contact with me. My online account was very helpful in keeping me up to date with progress and convenient for viewing proofs, and will be very helpful for repeat runs. I’m delighted with the quality of my books, and also the care with packaging.

Faced with the arduous task of writing and publishing my memoirs and first book, BookPrintingUK staff were excellent from my sketchy beginning to the final production of the book itself. After researching the range of book publishers and what they could provide, and in particular with consideration of the vast differences in cost, I decided that as initially I only wanted a trial run of only 25 books with the opportunity of re-ordering, BookPrintingUK appeared to be my best option.
Considering the steep learning curve I embarked upon, the company and its staff proved to be the perfect match for my needs. From the initial price and what it entailed, to staff members frequently offering to review my progress and meet any challenges, I never felt I was plodding through my project on my own.
Specifically, from my initial contact with Jozanne, with interventions by Beth and others, until the work was concluded under the watchful eye of Kaitlyn, the personal touch and interest shown by all staff over several months was extremely comforting. At key stages, including advice on the book’s format and my self-designed cover, including the technical team previewing my documents before I had even paid, re-assured me that the company was determined that that the final product met my expectations.
As a bonus, which I hadn’t been aware of at the outset, the free copy of the book to proof read, amend and sign off, with subsequent requested alterations acknowledged online, confirmed my decision that BookPrintingUK was indeed the perfect company for my small project.
Furthermore, as I have now distributed copies of the book to family and friends, they are highly impressed with the quality of the book, to the extent that they consider it to be the work of a genuine author!
I have absolutely no reservations in assuring anyone, similar to myself and facing the complexities of self-publishing a first novel, that their project would be in exceptionally safe hands with BookPrintingUK.

Poor communication. Too much messing about and not getting things right first time. Not taking correct notes and missing changes made by the author. Too much back and forth. Sending books to me instead of to the British library. Twice! Very stressful experience. No one available at weekends. Delayed and missing deadlines.

I was very happy with the way the whole process was explained to me, my knowledgable and efficient staff. If I couldn’t get through to the staff member I asked for on the phone, I would be put through to somebody else who was able to deal with my query.

My books, including text and photos) were for launching in an art gallery and they came out very well. I put in a repeat order for a smaller quantity and there was a slight delay on the delivery for that from what I’d been advised.

I’m still going to give a 5* review though as everybody was so helpful in guiding me through a process that was completely new to me, including support with layout design etc.

Thanks to all the staff involved I now have my first book published and a copy registered with the British Library.

Every question was answered professionally and speedily, making the whole experience feel smooth and reassuring. The finished book is of an exceptionally high standard and arrived on time and in perfect condition. I could not recommend the team more highly. I am genuinely delighted and deeply impressed.

I still have NOT received my printed books? Promised them last week told they had been delivered...well they were not delivered? Maybe the delivery people delivered to wrong place, certainly not to me ? i am already a published author, but get my stories printed by you before i submit to publishers..M Harratt, PEN.NAME .

From the very first I have had minute attention to all my inexpert attempts at sending a perfect pdf. There have always been patient explanations and help. Replies to emails are prompt, often on the same day.
The charges are more than reasonable and the finished books, beautifully presented, arrive within only a few days of approving the proof.
I'm now confidently preparing my 11th book with BPUK!
