I used their Sydney warehouse and would strongly caution anyone starting out or testing new products.

If your stock doesn’t move quickly, the storage fees can escalate very fast and I mean very expensive.
My daily storage costs increased significantly over time, and there was very little flexibility or support when trying to manage or reduce those costs.

Customer service is based overseas, and while they do respond, there can be a communication gap and limited ability to resolve issues or make practical adjustments.

One major downside is lack of control over your own inventory. You’re unable to independently access or check your stock, and if you want them to conduct stocktakes or inspections on your behalf, additional fees apply, which can add up quickly.

When I decided to move my stock out, the exit costs were substantial, pallet transfer fees alone were in the thousands, with total exit costs reaching into the tens of thousands plus the cost you pay to enter your stock into the warehouse. Crazy.

I have since moved to Couriers & Freight, and the difference has been night and day. They charge per pallet for storage, which makes costs far more predictable and manageable. They’re Australian-based with local support, communication is much clearer, and you’re able to access and check your own stock when needed. Overall, the service is more transparent, flexible, and significantly more cost-effective, even for higher-value or faster-moving stock.

In summary, this setup may suit high-volume businesses with fast-moving stock, but for smaller operators or those still testing products, the cost structure can become unsustainable very quickly.

Unresponsive warehouse, repeated delays, zero internal coordination
I used NextSmartShip to fulfill a small urgent order — stickers and tote bags shipped from their China warehouse to the US for an event. What should have been a straightforward job turned into over a week of delays caused entirely by their team.
My products arrived at their warehouse on March 26. I provided a complete SKU list, shipping address, packaging instructions, and a firm April 10 deadline — all on March 25, before the products even arrived. Despite this, their warehouse team repeatedly asked me the same questions I'd already answered, sometimes multiple times in the same day. Their sales rep and support team appeared to have no visibility into each other's conversations, so I had to re-explain everything to each person separately.
On March 31 — five days after I first gave clear instructions — my sales contact finally acknowledged that my "instruction is clear now." By then, the products still hadn't been shelved, labeled, or shipped. As of April 1, nothing has moved. I'm still waiting for a response...
The experience felt like being stuck in a loop: give instructions, wait, get asked the same questions again, re-confirm, wait again. I lost days I can't get back, and my event timeline is now at serious risk through no fault of my own.
If you have time-sensitive orders, I would not recommend this service.

We had an amazing experience with this company! The sales and customer service were top-notch, and their services exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend NextSmartShip Fulfillment Center to anyone looking for quality service. Even though we still have a big learning curve with the online process, we’ve had an amazing experience with this company through Emails and Video Chats!

It started with our initial call with NextSmartShip Fulfillment Advisor David Lai and continued with our NextSmartShip OMS Specialists Mladen Radic and Kalina Shuo, and last, but not least Victor, whose last name we do not know, who was our online OMS Specialist that assisted us with online bank wire transfers. They were all able to walk us through the entire account setup process and continued assisting us with our OMS Portal.

All four staff members of your team were top-notch and exceeded our expectations, especially when we ran into minor issues with missing parts between our manufacturing company and NextSmartShip warehouse. Kalina, our OMS specialist was able to think outside the box and contacted our manufacturer directly to take care of the issues. She was very patient and assisted us through the rest of the setup process.

Currently, we are waiting to schedule our products be delivered to one of our local warehouses in the United States before selling our products to our customers. Therefore, we have not yet experienced this particular stage. However, we will keep everyone posted on this review, when we take this step.

Meanwhile, a job very well done to everyone at NextSmartShip Fulfillment Services for all your assistance. We are very impressed!

Wanted to test the service before I expand. Everything works as advertised. Used it for a couple of months now. Products are received and are getting shipped out in time. Support is timely and helpful. Clients are happy.

Great service and very helpful team. We used them for 6 months before switching to FBA but was happy with their level of cusomter survice for a small company like us.

We chose Nextsmartship as the logistics and warehouse service when we just started up. They helped us navigate international shipping and efficient logistics and designed our packaging and sending processes together with us. Our contact David is always available for any inquiries and goes above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The integration with our shop works well and every order is packaged without ever missing anything.
I would definitely recommend them.

⭐️ Very Disappointing Shipping Experience

I had a very negative experience with NextSmartShip. My order has been in transit for three months and still has not reached the destination. There was no proactive follow-up from their side — I had to chase every update myself.

Each time I contacted the agent, the only response I received was: “The order will reach your customer soon.” No concrete information, no solutions, and no accountability.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend thinking twice before working with them, as the service has proven to be unreliable and poorly managed.

Victor makes any problem seem less complicated, I love his customer service. He is the best.

I’ve been looking for a reliable 3PL and I have found it! This is my first time experiencing an overseas 3PL and thanks to Justine she made the process seamless and easy to digest. I was confused a little on the way but with Justine’s help she cleared it all up asap! Looking forward to many and many years working together as our fulfillment partners! :)

Sienna was really helpful with her answers and quite prompt with her responses. I was quite inquisitive, and she was really patient with me.

For my crowdfunding campaign, I was looking into several 3PLs - and to be honest, none of them was super convincing. I ended up with NSS even though I had a few doubts because of some quite bad reviews. I wanted to share my overall good experience so others might struggle less :-)

Pro:
- Their system is quite nice and easy to use and I discovered no bugs. I got a 45min system tour from one of their agents. Products (SKUs) could be set up easily. Export of transaction for company tax purposes was good.
- The shipping price estimates were close to what I paid in the end. Pricing was overall fair in comparison.
- The shipments went out fast, were traceable, were roughly within the promised timeline (some much faster, other a few days longer)
- Out of 200 packages we had not a single lost package. When in doubt, we received pictures and eventually everyone got their product.
- The website support was fast and in general ok. Communication was not always perfectly clear though. My account manager Alex was quite good.

Con:
- Pricing was not fully transparent. We had some extra boxes and there was a 0.2 USD extra handling charge which was not well explained. But clearly that was not a huge issue.
- Transparency about pro / con of shipping lines and the taxation as well as the risk of rejection at customs was not given very well.
- They work with a prepaid balance system for the charges. We transferred with significant buffer to make sure we can ship on time. For the remaining balance after the campaign to be refunded, it took like 6 weeks or so. But we received the funds in the end.

So overall - I would definitely recommend NSS! Is everything perfect? Not quite, but they got the job done and we had a successful campaign. Probably one of the best you can find on the local market and I believe they are working hard to become even better.

So I've been using NextSmartShip for over, i want to say, 3 years now and basically they make my crowdfunding campaign possible.

- It's super easy to get my products to their warehouse (just follow their instructions).
- They store all my products at a very fair price
- Their shipping interface system is very easy to use (even i can use it).
- Their customer service is top-notch and super friendly and helpful. (shoutout to Victor and Alex and the team who has to deal with me whenever I have an issue).
- They also have great shipping rates too (even with the stupid 2025 tariffs).

Yeah, i totally recommended them if you need a fulfillment service! =)

Fast and affordable services. Efficient handing of the goods. Customer team offers quick response. Every step of the way was well documented. The parcels arrived fast in good condition. The goods arrived in very good packaging materials, meaning no damage! We will use this company again in the future!

They contacted me only a day after I reached out, I liked the quick response. In the meantime, I really liked the explanation videos, where everything gets explained step by step so I knew what I was getting into. the people I had contact with were really nice and did a great job with handing my package when it was reviewed and made ready for shipping it to my end location. I can only recommend it.
