After many attempts of taking a driving test ,l then went to Thomas from National Driving school he explained everything clearly, helped me build my confidence, and gave me the skills I needed to pass my test successfully. I’m very grateful for all his guidance and would definitely recommend them to anyone learning to drive.

Couldn’t recommend Conor enough. I only had two 2-hour lessons with him before my test, plus a lesson on the morning, and the difference in my driving was unbelievable.

Conor completely transformed my driving. He explained everything clearly, was friendly and patient, and took the time to answer all my questions. He was also brilliant at spotting small mistakes I wouldn’t have noticed and gave simple, practical advice that made an immediate difference.

The lesson on the morning of the test was a huge confidence boost. I passed first time with just one mark on the sheet, and I genuinely don’t think I’d have achieved that without Conor’s help. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and approachable instructor.

Recently passed my test in Dun Laoghaire. Fergal was a fantastic tutor in my pre-tests and I wouldn't have felt so confident behind the wheel without him. Couldn't recommend Fergal more as an instructor!

Can't imagine a better instructor than Chris, such point on teaching, everything so clear, so thorough and yet he is such a lovely person to be around!! I have tried several schools and have failed the test before I found Chris and then he fixed all of my mistakes, restored my confidence and here I am celebrating a passed test. Thanks a million!

I needed to do some pretests on short notice and thankfully Clodagh was able to fit me into her schedule. She was very thorough and addressed everything I needed to work on, sending notes after each lesson.

With her help I was able to pass my test and I'd highly recommend Clodagh and NDS in general to anyone looking for lessons or pretests.

I just passed my test yesterday from Dun Laoghaire (Rochestown Hotel) with only 3 Grade 2 points on my first attempt. I had my EDTs with another instructor and took few sessions with Chris (Dun Laoghaire) before the test and I'd say it was the best decision! Chris is so patient and makes you feel so confident. I have never driven a car before and I was very scared and anxious about controlling the vehicle and driving through traffic. Chris helped me get through it all and I cannot thank him enough! If you are looking for an instructor, he is your man.

I just passed my driving test and it most definitely wouldn’t have been possible without Fergal! Fergal transformed me from a driver who used to question myself all the time and had picked up bad habits while waiting to do my test, to a confident and very capable driver- with lots of good laughs along the way! I couldn’t recommend him enough whether you’re looking for lessons from the start or a pretest to iron out any creases, Fergal will be by your side the whole way- he is truly the best!

I passed my test in Tallaght on the first try with Mick. I did all my EDT lessons and pretest practice with him, and his knowledge of the different test routes and skills on the road were invaluable. He was a great teacher and put me at ease immediately. Mick has years of experience and gave me pointers and helpful corrections at every lesson that enabled my success on the test day.

Thanks to both Fergal and Chris who were great instructors during all my driving lessons with them. Both were thorough and clear in providing instructions and advice, good at noticing any bad habits I was picking up and correcting them, easy to ask questions to, generally very friendly and they also gave praise and encouragement when I did well. All their help prepared me well for the driving test and for future driving after passing the test.

I had a great experience with National Driving School and especially with my instructor Christopher. I completed my Reduced EDT lessons with him and couldn’t recommend him enough. He was patient, professional and always gave clear advice, which really helped build my confidence and prepare me for the test. Thanks to his guidance and support, I’m delighted to say I passed my driving test on my first attempt! I first contacted Diane, an instructor with the company, on the 2nd of March of this year. She was immediately very accommodating in getting me set up with lessons, and knew I didn’t have the best experience with a previous instructor who put me off driving for 4 years! Diane is incredibly reassuring in the car and very knowledgable in her field, and has given me little facets of advice such as repositioning my seat in the car slightly which helped eliminate mistakes on the clutch, allowing me to pass my test today on the 25th of August. I feel like other instructors have overlooked these small details in my driving which limited my ability to control my vehicle.

I am thrilled I was able to get through and wrap everything up in the space of 6 months, and am confident it would have not been as smooth if I didn’t have Diane’s help.

It is worth noting that the materials provided on behalf of Diane from the National Driving School were also a great help, little clips on how to properly approach certain roundabouts near my testing centre became invaluable as they also came up in my test and the calm demeanor of the testers in these videos helps you remember the steps very clearly.

All in all I am delighted with my experience with National Driving School and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is learning for the first time or wants to make a switch to an instructor who speaks to you like a regular person instead of a customer.

Krzys (Chris) at National Driving School is friendly, energetic driving instructor who taught me from my first lesson through pre-tests to getting my licence. He's patient while also giving detailed helpful feedback to accelerate improvement. I would unreservedly recommend him to any learner driver.

I just passed my driving test today on my 1st attempt and its all down to my amazing instructor in Carlow John Treacy. After contacting a few different instructors in Carlow and being turned away because I have a disability I was very deflated and it knocked my confidence. But when I contacted John he took me on without hesitation and I truly can't thank him enough. He showed so much patience and kindness and nothing was too much. He went above and beyond for me and I'm just so greatful to have had him as my instructor. 5 stars isn't enough for this man. A true professional and a gentleman.
