Excellent service

Dogshit service. There's no easy way to unsubscribe. Also they sell you fake proxy, Purchased Japanese one, and they allocated me US based.

I was a loyal Webshare customer for 6 years with zero issues.
When they suddenly demanded ID verification, I tried to explain my use case, but they didn’t care. To them, I wasn’t a loyal customer, I was just a number in their database.

They insisted on a third-party ID check that only works on a mobile phone. Since I don’t use a smartphone (I really love my privacy), this was a hard barrier. They refused to offer any desktop alternative or human review. The message was clear: upload your ID or lose your account. They would rather lose a paying customer than spend five minutes actually helping.

I canceled the service and told them exactly what I thought of their privacy-hostile tactics. They couldn’t care less. They are actively purging long-term users and hiding behind automated compliance filters.

They keep asking for verification and they pause your service meanwhile, I was doing something simple (public data fetch from gov website) and the reason I need additional proxies is simply SPEED when they pause your service its quite opposite. Customer service was good but core product is frustrating to use.

Edit: I literally complain about their system and they answer me here and still asking me to complete ID check. No more comments just funny.

The service is good (I only tested datacenter proxies). IPs have pretty good reputation (60 of 100 passes cloudflare-protected endpoints) but the pricing for data (GB) is expensive. When you scrap a lot and need like 20-25T of data, it’s gonna be a LOOOOT (like ~120-150).

I’m not saying that the service itself is expensive cause it’s still one of the cheapest and qualitative you can find (like you can find cheaper, but it’s gonna be suspicious websites you will have to pay with BTC/other cryptocurrencies…)

The customer service is good! It’s an AI that understands well you request, redirects to a human it’s pretty easy and fast.

Extremely disappointing experience – I cannot recommend Webshare

I am extremely disappointed with Webshare. My account was suspended without any clear or understandable explanation, even though I still had money remaining in my account. So far, I have not received a refund of my remaining balance.

What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of customer support. I have sent multiple emails and inquiries, but I have received no response whatsoever. No explanation, no solution, and no information about when or whether my remaining balance will be refunded.

In my opinion, this is absolutely unacceptable treatment of a paying customer. Suspending an account and then completely ignoring legitimate requests regarding the remaining balance is not how a reliable company should treat its customers.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend thinking twice before using Webshare. They have completely lost my trust, and I will not be using their service again.

Prompt to refund, willing to help, free proxy samples before requiring payment. Quite satisfied tbh.

Proxies work good, prices are cheap. But, they are too strict on proxies usage. I go hit with the "usually activity" notification asking me to resolve IP to domains. I'm like ok fine... I reconfigured the software to show domain names. Then weeks go by my account got limited now I need ID verification. I def was not doing this, I figured it was trap that could get me into issues so I never did.

I've used other proxies providers in the past none asked for ID verification or to resolve IP address to domains names.

Proxies were made for unethical shit to hide your ass, they will get you locked up fast. Total bullshit service.

Good proxies with affordable prices and replacement option is best if i want to change proxy
