I did some one off work with an agency and this is there main umbrella company. Because of this they have a "you have to use us" attitude/arrogence.
They were extremely unwilling to work with me on the price even though it was only two days I needed to be paid for and were under the impression despite that I was not happy I would be back with my tale between my legs at some point as I had no option.
Because of this I protested to the agency and was sent the PSL.
Once I had registered with another umbrella, I called up to close my account.
Jo was a bit thrown back as if to say "oh you've managed to use someone else" as she obviously was under the impression this wouldn't be possible but was clearly wrong.

Maybe Jo in the future you should try having a bit of empathy

I’d like to share my genuine appreciation for We‑Contract and the support I received while dealing with an administrative request.
Although my contract with We‑Contract had ended years ago and the enquiry related to historic records, the company was very helpful from the outset and were happy to assist. That in itself says a lot about how seriously they take their client relationships, even well after contracts have concluded.
In particular, I’d like to mention Sarah Haines, who handled my request with a great deal of professionalism and care. Sarah took the time to look into older records thoroughly, kept me clearly informed throughout, and made sure everything was completed accurately. Her approach was calm, efficient and genuinely supportive.
What really stood out was the level of attention given. My request was treated with the same priority and respect as current work. This reflects well on We‑Contract and how they support their staff to look after clients.
Sarah is a real credit to We‑Contract, and my experience has been a very positive one. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend We‑Contract to anyone looking for a professional payroll company that genuinely takes care of its clients.

They are very useful, very easy system to understand, and there response time upon enquiries about pay or holiday pay are certainly quick. One happy user here

I spoke with them on the phone,best costumer service I've seen ina while.Payments are on time and i like that they have a payslip and a sms notification.Dont even have to worry about anything.

Payment is always on time,love the sms notification and the payslips,honest company and good help on the phone.

I've worked with We Contract approaching 7 years and they are my go to payroll company. I haven't experienced any problems of note in this time, which gives me and the people we ask them to pay great confidence they & the HMRC will be paid in full! I have to also give a big shout out to Jo Brown and her team. Such excellent customer service, they're always on hand to deal with queries quickly and efficiently, even after hours and can even be contacted on a weekend.

If you want a payroll company you can trust, then contact We Contract. Your workers, clients and taxman will thank you for it.
