I have reviewed them before. New property manager and maintenance week to week better. Still issues with billing and a large works on the property that has left a poor standard of work- wobbling handrails and paint left on windows. The property manager is unresponsive and ineffective
Quick to respond, informative and nlknew exactly how to answer the query

Really good and quick response to issue.
Thank you

Remus once again poor. Have reported an issue with our bin room as the door is broken and causing issues - no response on acknowledgement on portal. Been informed on 18th August that our property manager has left the company but not been told who the new one is- this happens every time!
I am still to this date , 9 years on don’t have a clue what we pay the service charge for and Remus are shocking.
Putting a review on again as that seems to be the only way you get a response from them- very poor once again Remus.

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. Awful company never help and never do what they are supposed to do. The worst management company out there. Total cow boys and that’s putting it nicely

I have raised a request to get permission to install an ev charger since May, 3 months onwards still no reply. Having to charge at expensive charging points.

I am assigning these five stars to Jay C, who went above and beyond to help me with a payment issue. If you've experienced an issue with Remus, do yourself a favour and speak to Jay C. Absolute professional who helped solve my problem.

I am a leaseholder at Grove House, and my experience with Remus as managing agent has been consistently poor.
The building has been neglected for years — no new paint on the walls, no proper cleaning or maintenance of the lift, terrace door broken for months with no solution, etc.
The worst part is the communication. We've had multiple property managers over the past three years, and no proper handover was ever done between them. On top of that, random charges show up on the service charge bills with no proper quotes or timelines for the works supposedly "planned." Horrible service, really.

I contacted our Estate Manager Tony regarding a safety issue with cars driving down a pathed and grassed area.
He immediately got quotes together to install some knee rail fencing, within 10 days the fencing had been installed.
When the contractor was on site he noticed that the path was still wide enough to fit a car, one call to Tony and 2 days later he was back to fit the bollard.
Thank you for being proactive and speedy in keeping the residents safe, we all appreciate it.

I've been a leaseholder at Grove House and my experience with Remus as managing agent has been consistently poor.
The building is not looked after. The lift is dirty and clearly not maintained to any reasonable standard, and the communal walls have gone without cleaning or repainting for a long time. There was a leak in the building, and after it my flat's carpet and door were left damaged with no acknowledgement and no plan to put things right. The terrace door has been broken for a long stretch and remains unresolved despite being raised.
What makes this worse is the communication. Emails go unanswered, and when a reply does come it's late and adds little. Reporting a problem shouldn't feel like chasing a company that would rather you gave up. For an agent whose core job is to maintain the building and respond to residents, both are falling short.
I'd think carefully before relying on Remus to manage a property you care about.

I’m selling my property and we have waited nearly a month for one document from Remus to be sent to my solicitor, I have chased called and emailed multiple times and it’s always we are waiting or simply no reply to an email. It’s one document and coming up to a month of not getting it… it’s held up the entire sale, as someone who would a within this industry this is absolutely insane.

Warning to Sarah who says going to government ombudsman not run by government funded by companies you complain about sorry to say been there they will tell you to follow complaints procedure before taking it to them remus did not address issues took back to ombudsman told could not help until I got clear response from remus went round in circles for months took to m.p who sent me back to ombudsman so good luck but dont hold your breath.
They charge a lot of money for doing very little maintenance. A small percentage of their charges actually goes to doing any work, the majority is admin, insurance, costs, overheads etc.
They also charge £330 for a new owner pack explaining what they actually do.

The worst management agency know to man. Appalling. And every year they hike their managrment fees by between 500£ and 10000k. They charge for services they do not do, their staff change all the time, their out of hours service does not work. They should be stopped from managing anything. We will be contacting the government ombudsman.

Never ever had such a bad experience! Is just a nightmare. They have been with us for few months, but since their arrival everything gotten worse. The only reply you will get from them is that they have raised the concern, but nothing gets done. The only incoming you will get from them is the invoice for the service charge.
How can you ask for a service charge when all you do is disservice?

Held a family fun session today, which involved vale development team, recycling officer offering recycling bags etc, a member from the GDS (i think) doing planting of vegetables, in the waterfront in barry
Sharon & Jo were lovely to speak and really want to organise more community activities like today which is great family day and especially for families who can’t attend other events like these and for families who can’t access these services

We're regularly having to chase Renus for responses to queries, incorrect charges and problems reported via their portal, their preferred route that do not get prompt responses. An issue was reported some 10 days ago with no response. Not sure Remus monitor landscape maintenance visits that us residents pay for. Certainly a lack of customer service.

don’t use these words lightly; this company is a con artist.
You are paying a Remus, who is owned by Fex, the privilege of 33.82% to 53.56% of your bill to “run” the management company for your estate.
What does that get you?
No response to emails
No response to complaints
Rude service with “final” and “not for further discussion”
To comments “we don’t have a crystal ball”
Be charged for non-existent equipment/services.
I feel sorry if they are running your estate because they are stealing your money.
Put in a formal complaint letter no response

Terrible experience on our estate. Paying 80k per year for a grass cut or two. Weeds have taken over, trees are dying. No accounts produced for 18 months even though we keep asking for them. Meetings cancelled last minute without letting the venue know.
Abysmal.
Thanks for the reply but nothing will change and you know that. I asked 10 times for the accounts. The meeting was cancelled because you’re scared to meet residents. Your team were on site the day of the meeting and realised what a mess it was so they cancelled the meeting at the last minute. We’re being charged 5k for dog poo bins!!!
There’s no accountability from your company. You’re breaking the law by not letting us have the accounts.
The landscaping is disgraceful and the estate is a mess. Where is our 80k? It’s obviously not being spent on actual maintenance.
The property managers do not respond on the portal and ignore emails. Disgraceful
