There are some decent reviews on here about this company, just some. My experience is different. I used the trial for £0.50p one evening, for 2 photos, the next morning I got a message from my bank saying they had suspiciously tried to take £49.99 out. I stopped it immediately. The service of background removal does work really well, so it's just the sneaky diving into your account thats the problem. If it's a bona fide company with transaction issues, then they should sort that out pronto. If its a scam company, up yours you evil people!!!

Never use this service
Never use this service. They're thieves and scammers. They ask you to enter your credit card information for a trial, and the next day they charge you $80 for a service you never used. These are real crooks hiding behind the app. I strongly advise against using it. And when you try to contact them, they never respond.

Sad they're moving to canva.
Never had any problems with the tool, my go to whenever I need to remove a background. However, it saddens me now that they're moving to canva. Gotta find a new one to use now.

It used to work properly. It now does not, and I believe it is due to Canva ruining it and then merging it into Canva to make the feature not free...

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! They advertise a low cost trial at £0.50 and then use your credit card details to subscribe you to a monthly plan at £34.00 unless you log on again and cancel it. I only used it to adjust a passport photo and they charged my card £34 each month for 4 months with no notifications until my bank contacted me. A complete rip off.

A good service only really unclear…
A good service only really unclear about costs ..50p for 24 hours then take the full price £34. Which for me at the moment is a lot. On being questioned respond it is all clear, but not so else I wouldn't be here now writing this.

Scammed for subscription debit
I authorised R10 for 10 credits on the remove-bg.net website. The next day, I was also debited R585 for a subscription that I did not request or authorise. I have had to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Scammers.

Free version is excellent
I've been using remove.bg for years to remove the background on screenshots and various images so I can turn them into Slack emojis (makes work a little more fun). Thank you for the free solution to this need, and I'll keep remove.bg in mind in the future if I need higher quality or bulk services.

it doesn't even delete the background…
it doesn't even delete the background buddy! i tried using the magic brush but all they do was nothing but kept saying "unknown error" and btw my wifi is super OK.

The AI was confused by my logo image…
The AI was confused by my logo image and removed far more than the just the background. My logo is black with a gold accent on a white background enclosed in a back circle. I wanted to remove the white background of the outside the circle so I could paste the logo into a black frame of video clip. The end result was useless. If I could, I'd upload an image of the result.

Says it was free, did a bunch of work. You know what was free? A crappy preview version, while the proper resolution image costs you a monthly payment. Uber fake. Is not free. It would be like a restaurant that says its food is free, then directs you to its dumpster in the back, and if you want to eat the food, you have to pay for it.
