We know some of our lines of clothing do run bigger, primarily because of the active nature of our customers. For example some of our jackets have longer arms than normal for rock climbers who reach straight up. But, a larger size doesn't always work (a) for everyone, and (b) if you don't know ahead of time what the fit is like.
Over the last several months, we have been cataloguing and specfying what type of fit customers can expect from each of our various clothing lines. I'd be frustrated too if I got something different than I was expecting. We have work to do, still, but we are making progress..
I do hope you had the chance to exchange the item that was too large and I hope you're satisfied with the substituted size (and the exchange process).
We're customers of businesses just like you, and we get aggravated when things just don't work right or as expected. We're working hard to make sure every customer's experiencve goes right and goes easy. We appreciate your feedback!

Excellent Customer Service
I contacted RaggedMountain about the availability of a type and size of mitten that no longer appeared on their online website. Customer support checked their warehouse and there were still two mittens available in their in-store stock that matched my request. In the back and forth communication with Customer service regarding this they were always helpful and respectful. Thank you for your great support!
