I was passing and called into there industrial unit after seeing an advert on line. Was made most welcome and shown a demonstration of a system. I ordered there and then. I was kept updated by Emma on my progression leading up to installing my panels and battery. The team turned up on time and professional and installed them to my satisfaction. Emma was then back in touch to provide me with the information to connect up to my preferred supplier. I found this company very good to work with and explained everything clearly. (Im in my 70s) highly recommend

PureVolts installed a system for me a couple of weeks ago, and the whole process from start to finish has been great!
Really friendly team and the WhatsApp group created from the outset for communications has been brilliant.
I’m almost 2 weeks in now and have seen a massive decrease in the electricity I pull from the grid - now 94% off peak for what I do pull too :)

Extremely quick and efficient. Advise around the system is fantastic but when the app was explained after fitting a little more knowledge would have been good. Very quick to supply and fit. Great company and after care great helping with letters and certificates to enable export tariffs.

Could not be happier with our solar install. The company was recommended by a work colleague as his solar installation was great. We have had great service, discussed the process and any questions I had were answered promptly. They even removed an old solar system panel once it was disconnected.
Since the installation we have been 100% off grid for our electrical supply

Full estimation of expected generation, with all our questions answered about the systems available.
No pressure from the surveyor, just clear explanation of the equipment and choices available.
Installation day was great, everything was explained before, during and after fitting.
It was good to see the roofers taking pride in their work and even changing a few cracked tiles they found before work started.
Our system is working well and exceeding the projections we started with.
Only been installed a few weeks, so thankfully no need for after-sales but going by our experience so far, I see no issues going forward.

Very professional service

Just recently had solar installed by Purevolts and it has been 5* from start to finish.
I had several quotes and Purevolts were by far the best. Went for a 26 panel system with 2 sigenergy 10kw batteries and 12kw inverter . They were at least 15% cheaper than any other quote I received.
There was no pressure to order or hard sell.
Purevolts keep everything in house, scaffolders, roofers and electricians all working in perfect harmony.
There was around a 6 week wait from when I placed the order (with deposit) to the install day.
During this time Purevolts did the G99 request to get the export limit from the grid, they also set up a WhatsApp group to keep you updated with everything.
The week of the install, the scaffolders came to put this up, great team (Red Fox Scaffolding). Following morning around 8am the roofers and electrician arrived.
By the end of the day 26 panels were installed, commissioned and making power! Everything left nice and tidy and the electrician Ben explained how the system worked. This is not a cheap price and then a poor quality install, it is a premium system, with matching install.

The Sig Energy system is the leading gear to have and it works great. You can set the app to run with their AI, and once you get your export tariff set up and cheap night time imports set up it will run automatically to maximise your returns on any excess solar.
Been running now perfectly for around a month and I will be making back a fair amount with the export tariff.
Contacted Laurence about potentially adding some extras to the system (another battery and gateway) and he’s clear and honest with his prices. Decided to wait a while and see how the system performs in the winter.
I can’t see how anyone could have a bad word to say about Purevolts.
I’d recommend them to anyone. Already sent a fe referrals to them, and neighbours all want solar too.

Purevolts were recommended to me after a quality install at my brothers property.

We had a 14 panel + 10kw Hanchu inverter/battery system installed this week. PureVolts gave us a great price and the communication throughout has been first class! Kudos to Emma for that!

The install itself is awesome, Ben the electrician is a true gentleman and master of his trade! Everything is so neat and tidy, we were asked throughout the process what our preferences were but received solid advice on potential improvements.

The most important question- would I recommend purevolts? Absolutely, without a doubt!

UPDATE 03/07 - had an issue getting my car to charge today, the support team on WhatsApp couldn't have been more helpful - checked a few things and then insisted that I called podpoint who updated my settings over the phone and all good again. I see other reviews saying that after-install support wasn't great but my experience was the opposite! Thanks PureVolts!

From start to install they have been 5* service. Initial enquiry sent and quoted within a few hours. Many other firms reached out to took weeks to come back, if at all!
After going over two proposals from them we proceeded with the Eco Flow setup.
Install schedule and date brought forwards which was great news too.

Sadly due to AI tools we was only able to fit 8 panels on our "owned" section of the roofing. But, like any good company Alex rang to explain this and reduced the pricing accordingly.

Josh, Josh and Charlie was great guys and could tell work well together. Fitted in great time and proceeded to clear the area of any rubbish after. Once the scaffolding is gone you wouldn't have know they had been there. That's the kinda tradies like to see.

System is working perfect and would highly recommend to anyone searching for Solar / Storage to reach out to them. Appreciate the guys are local to my area, but they took the job and done it perfectly.

Sadly poor service.

When they came round they pushed for a quick install date yet cancelled it at short notice. They then said the next date was two months away but they would try and fit me in sooner. When I enquired if there was any progress they ignored the message until I started calling. Their approach was the officious - telling me I was wrong to be unhappy with their service. They even told me to have a period of reflection as 150 positive review show I was wrong.

Looking into the matter I have concerns about their credibility. For instance their web site claims to have helped “thousands of homes and businesses” yet later claim to have done 650 installations. Similarly they state 15 years experience yet they were founded in 2022! Their filed accounts show quite how small this company is.

Anyway they were cheap - talked a good story but couldn’t deliver.

We had pure volts install our solar panels.
On the day we were told we could not have the 14 panels we ordered only 12 when questions we were then able to have the 14
The installer broke 3 roof tiles and I had to go onto the site and ask for more.
The electrician put the cable down the back of the drainpipe tied to the the drain pipe and not properly fixed to the wall as it should be. Then drilling from the inside out blowing yo face work off the bricks. Filling the mess with a load of clear mastic which looked a terrible mess being a new build house.
Approximately waiting and sending WhatsApp messages for 3 months for someone to come out to look and fix. Poor job done on the repair with him said it's the best he could do.
Having discussion about the whole job via WhatsApp with pure volts we get no response. We are now considering getting the work by all parties checked by an engineer to make sure we are safe in our house. This is how this company has made us feel. As we were told pay cheap get cheap but I consider 10 thousand pounds not cheap.
We have been left very disappointed.
Anyone considering this company come here and see the work . We are based in Derbyshire.

100% happy with my installation, now been operational for a month with zero issues. Highly recommend this company.

I spent a lot of time reading up and getting (over 30) quotes from companies large and small throughout the UK. These ranged massively! With larger 'big name' companies including my existing energy supplier being more 2-3x more expensive for often inferior kit.

I went with Pure Volts because:
1) They have all the certificates and accreditations that you are told to look for such as: MCS, NAPIT, RECC, IWA
2) Their pricing is EXTREMELY competitive and their customer reviews are really high.
3) They include a 5 year workmanship warranty
4) They take care of the G98/99 applications for permission to connect to the grid
5) It's really easy and quick to talk to them, they mainly use whatsapp which is really handy for uploading photos or getting hold of the person you need.

I went back and forth a few times changing the specification which wasn't a problem and received updated designs very quickly via their online portal.

Agreed on spec and price, paid a deposit online and a date for install was set.

Unfortunately a giant orange manchild messed up global shipping around this time so some of the products were no longer available. I was given other equipment options or could delay the install if i preferred. I decided not to delay and went with the new spec (which was actually better than what I had paid for, without any additional charge - how many companies would do that!?)

The team from Pure Volts who came to install were all very friendly and professional. The install is very tidy and works exactly as it should.
The electrician took plenty of time to explain how everything works and set me up on the Fox ESS app so that I can monitor everything, setup schedules or connect to Octopus smart tariffs etc.

Since install I have not paid a penny for electricity (other than standing charge) and am exporting 2-3x my daily usage to the grid which will mean a credit on my account for any imported electricity needed on dark winter days. We have an air source heat pump so quite heavy usage of around 7,000kWH per year.

The aiko panels look really smart in all black and shed dust/bird poo really well when it rains which I was a bit concerned about being in a coastal location. I am very surprised (and pleased!) at how efficient they are even on slightly cloudy days, with an East/West roof, they produce near their max capacity. I am looking forward to full summer sun!

The Fox batteries and inverter are all tidily installed in the garage, are silent and don't get hot. The app is very easy to use and has plenty of options to customise how it operates.

We are located in Torbay, Devon and would be very happy for any interested customers to come and have a look/chat.

PureVolts installed Hanchu Batteries & Inverter last October. At the end of February one of the batteries went faulty.
I was chasing them up almost every other day about warranty replacement. It came across, that if I didn’t chase, nothing was done. So I left it for a week - nothing. I then sent an email a week ago asking for the installation to be removed & refunded under consumer rights. No reply, I have no idea what is happening. But I can’t, in good conscience, recommend them as after sales service appears to be none existent.

Purevolts were fantastic in my solar journey - I have no hesitation recommending them at all!

I got a good range of options in my quote, and during the whole initial meeting I could tell they were a caring and passionate team. Online quotes vary so wildly, and having Mark come and inspect the house really helped ground my expectations and save me from what would have been a huge disappointment with another company! They also showed me pictures of other installs they've done which really solidified their determination to provide excellence.

Emma kept me up to date throughout and answered any queries I had. They proactively applied for G99 planning before the install (from reading online forums, lots of companies do this after an install which can be problematic) which was very reassuring.

Scaffolding went up and came down as planned. The installers (Josh and Charlie) were fantastic. The electrical team led by Martin did a great job connecting the inverter and battery to the house. I'll definitely keep the parent company (Spot On Electrical) in mind if I need any future work doing.

I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and am very glad I went with Purevolts!

Superb! Just sat enjoying the free electricity in my syg energy batteries installed today , So glad I chose purevolts from at least 10 quotes I had .
I needed not worry about entrusting purevolts with such an investment of my solar instalation. from my quote and survey to a cold and rainy day in the northwest the whole process was carried out with precision and care, scaffolding was erected yesterday,equipment delivered this morning followed 10 minutes later by the roofing team, closely followed by the electricians. On with the job, without its challenges that did appear due to our positioning location choices. these lads were brilliant in providing solutions that we were happy with.
I cannot recommend highly enough!
