Half premium, half cheap product — very disappointing overall.
I purchased a POC Cularis in size M, expecting a premium helmet. Unfortunately, the fit is far from what I would expect from a product at this price point. It simply does not seem to accommodate a normal head properly.
I tried it during a mountain biking ride, which unfortunately means I can no longer return it.
The helmet itself is generally well made, but the strap adjustment is a major issue. There is no proper way to adjust the straps symmetrically and securely. On my head, the strap sits over my ear and remains loose, creating significant wind noise when riding downhill.
I contacted customer service to explain the fitting issue and ask for advice. Unfortunately, they were not really interested in addressing the problem and essentially treated it as a customer issue rather than acknowledging that the adjustment system itself is problematic.
For a premium-priced helmet, this is extremely disappointing. The product feels premium in some respects, but cheap where it matters most: fit, adjustment and customer support.
Needless to say, I will not purchase from POC again, and I will not recommend the brand to any fellow riders.

Quality products
Everything l have bought from Poc has been top quality and a great fit .
The cycling glasses made for smaller faces are perfect .
Sometimes delivery has been slow from UPS but mainly good .

I have to say that this time I was…
I have to say that this time I was pleased to find the quality of the riding shorts to be superb, I have ordered a month ago a different pair of shorts and I was surprised to find that the materials look a considerably below what POC is known to provide. This time I’ve got the quality I was expecting and I’m pleased; if the quality remains high as it has been, I will still buy POC. Needless to say I returned the pair I found to be of inferior quality. Keep the quality high and you have a customer here.

We recommend that you replace your helmet, POC or other brand, after 3 years. There is some natural ageing that will occur in any polymer, but more importantly, the life of different helmets will look very different depending on how they are treated (use, carefulness, travel, vibrations, etc), in which conditions they are used (sunlight, heat, cold, etc), storage (temperature, humidity) and so forth.
Some helmets will not show significant signs of ageing after 10 years while other helmets will be old and tired after 3 years. You can place your helmet anywhere in that range depending on how you feel you treat your helmet, but we will stick to our 3-year recommendation.
These variations are the reason that we, out of care for our customers, recommend a 3-year exchange cycle as a safety measure. This lifespan is recommended from the date of use.
The manufacturing date should not have a negative effect on the safety performance of the helmet as long as it has always been stored in good conditions (preferably in a warehouse).
Our helmets are made of first-grade materials, and we are confident that our helmets will perform as well as or better than the helmets that state a 5- or even 8-year exchange period after any length of time, if they have had a similar life.

Poor Customer Service
When selecting Canada as your region, their website defailts to French. After spending time and switching through several devices to get english, I was able to order my product and it came is reasonable time. However, only 12 days after ordering that same product was discounted $53 less. POC refuses to refund the difference and suggests I return my product and reorder it, which will cost me return shipping. Not very good customer service.

Safety first with high vis colors
The selection was great, the measurement system for my head size was accurate, colors were high vis. My son was hit by a car on his bike (he is doing fine). The next day I went on line and looked for bright high vis helmets with built in rear lights. I ordered a two orange helmets. One with an integrated light and one mountain bike helmet. I ride my bike 75-80 miles through Detroit and I want to be as visible as possible. One light on my helmet and a rear radar on my seat post. Thanks
