That’s really good account

This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They only reply once every 24 hours. Just two days after opening the app, my account was restricted. I sent all the required documents, but they keep asking me to send the same ones again and again.

This is the worst bank and customer service ever. Never use it if you want to have control over your money or need fast transfers.

How can I be satisfied when money keeps getting taken out of my account whenever I make a payment? I referred someone who created an account and made payments, yet I didn't receive anything.

Extremely disappointing experience with Lydia/Sumeria.

My account received a legitimate family transfer for rent payment, and despite providing:

* proof of transfer,
* IDs,
* signed attestation,
* and every requested document,

my account was progressively restricted and eventually completely blocked without clear communication or timely resolution.

Being unable to access your own money while urgently needing to pay rent is incredibly stressful and unacceptable. Customer support responses are extremely slow, and the compliance process feels opaque and frustrating.

I fully understand security checks are necessary, but freezing access to a customer’s account and funds for such a long period despite full cooperation creates serious financial hardship.

Very disappointed with the overall handling of this situation.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Sumeria.

On April 3rd, I opened an account in good faith and received a transfer of €5120 the same day, trusting that I was dealing with a reliable and regulated financial service. However, within hours, my account was abruptly restricted under what was described as a “routine check.”

Since then, I have been asked to provide multiple documents, all of which I have submitted promptly and in full. Despite this, it appears there is a lack of understanding or proper handling of documentation from my country, resulting in unnecessary delays.

Customer support has been consistently slow and ineffective. I receive generic email responses daily, yet no real progress is made. Initially, I was limited to €50 per day, and now I am completely unable to access my funds.

What is most concerning is that I received confirmation stating that the review had been completed, yet my account remains restricted. This is not only misleading but raises serious concerns about the transparency and reliability of your internal processes.

Holding a customer’s funds for an extended period without clear justification, while failing to provide meaningful updates or resolution, is not acceptable for a financial service operating under regulatory obligations.

I opened this account to carry out normal, legitimate transactions, not to have my funds effectively frozen under vague explanations.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no option but to escalate it further through the appropriate regulatory and consumer protection channels.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Sumeria.

I am use sumeria account last 3year it is very honest bank, service is very fast, not any extra charged without monthly fee,and customer care is very honest very fast reply, thanks 🙏 sumeria

App is less and less user friendly and a lot of the benefits went away. WOuldn't recommend to switch now to sumeria
