Avoid Nibbles unless you want to pay way more than you will probably ever see! Fees, Fees, Fees! I don't receive statements and then get hit with fees. They charge "interest" for previous months after paying in full, so that there is a charge on the account... and then they can charge another fee. Getting through to a person is difficult, and then they "pass it up to someone else"... after time passes and you get hit with another fee. They denied a claim because of a "preexisting condition" when it was the first time I'd brought my pet to the vet for that problem.

It has been a great experience so far, haven't received the card yet but I'm sure it'll be good 😊

If I could give a lower score than one I would. For the past week I’ve been trying to set up auto pay when I first login it gives me an error when I finally get to the thing about setting up auto pay it says that I’ve set a Bank up via plaid. I go through the steps and it just keeps returning back to the same thing unable to make a payment unless I call them up I sent one customer Help request fill out their required information and I haven’t heard anything back I sent another one today
Simply put they don’t know what they’re doing with electronic payments I would highly advise you to avoid putting anything on the credit card because you’re gonna find it impossible to pay. And for their information I already have two valid accounts under my plaid account

I highly recommend Nibbles over any other pet credit card. I had CareCredit for 22 years and found Nibbles to have a better APR representatives to be more respectful and lead bank cares about your needs. Highly recommended!!!

Doesn’t work for me. Based on previous reviews here, I’m running into the same problem that anyone that has had a pet with less than two years of medical records will be denied claims. Why did they tell you that after you paid them? Nibbles was not upfront with this. They should refund my money because they never intended to pay any of my claims. Nibbles‘s knew I had my pet less than two years and there was a good chance there were not two years of medical records. It sounds like a scam to me.

At first I loved the nibbles card. But when I took my dog who is covered under the coverage for a emergency the company is giving me the run around saying it's not covered or they are treating it as a pre existing condition which it is not. I adopted my dog from a rescue on 12/12/2025. I provided the exam to nibbles from the vet they provided me with from 10/2025. I provided the initial exam I had on 12/29/2025 and again the one in July 2025. They are saying it's not enough information and are not covering anything. Even if I provided them with all the documents from the rescue and the vet appts they needed, they still say not covered. I guess if your insuring your dog from a adoption or rescue with nibbles they are not good enough for insurance....

Lots of issues from the very beginning and could not get the service needed. Then had a pet emergency and couldn’t use the coverage due to not being able to get my card.

They overcharged me on my first monthly payment/fee for the pet insurance. I called to inquire, no response. I emailed about 5x, no response. This went on for a month. I was finally able to email with someone who confirmed that they overcharged me and would reverse the charges. I cancelled immediately. If you look around, you’ll find the same story all over the place with them and Odie. Horrendous customer service. You’d never expect a credit card company to ignore you for almost a month and overcharge you in the meantime. This is definitely illega.

There is a monthly fee for pet insurance and if you don't use it you still pay the fee. I decided to close the account and it will take awhile to close it. They have to send the request to the higher ups and they will decide if they want to close the account. Terrible customer service there phone breaks up a lot that it's hard to understand them.

Free pet insurance with a no fee credit card. Fills out vet claim form if you use their card. Haven't used card yet

I had high hopes for this service because it was marketed as a convenient, all-in-one solution that would be easy to manage. My experience has been the complete opposite.
I submitted the required documents, paid for the service, and even purchased additional coverage. Yet when I actually tried to use the benefits I was paying for, my claims were repeatedly denied—including claims for expenses I understood the policy and additional coverage to cover. At this point, the coverage feels worthless if every attempt to use it results in another denial.
The low price is misleading. A service is not affordable when you pay premiums and additional fees only to discover that getting a claim approved seems nearly impossible. They had no problem taking my money, but when it came time to provide the coverage and support I believed I had paid for, the experience was nothing but frustration and disappointment.
I would not recommend this service based on my experience. I strongly suggest looking at other companies that offer clearer coverage, better transparency, and actual reassurance that you will receive support when you need it.
The credit card works fine—but that is because I am the one paying the bill. That does nothing to make up for an insurance experience where I paid for coverage and additional protection but was repeatedly denied when I tried to use it.

The card itself is fine, but it ultimately wasn’t necessary for me. I only opened it because it offered free basic or discounted upgraded pet insurance. I got a puppy in March 2026, and my very first claim has been pending for an unusually long time. I’ve been receiving repeated emails from a diffrent rep each time, that give the impression the company is looking for reasons to deny the claim. They continue requesting veterinary records from before March 2026, despite my repeated explanations that my puppy was not that old and her first vet visit was April 02, 2026
I provided the SOAP notes from her first veterinary visit, but the company repeatedly avoids confirming whether they have received them. Because of this experience, I’m glad I kept my Progressive and Spot policies for my other dogs active while waiting to see how this first claim would be handled. I have since downgraded the upgraded Nibbles insurance to the free basic plan, which I will likely never use, and I plan to pay off the card and close the account.
