Charged DKK 8,051.20, delivered nothing and ignored my refund request

Avoid Neibac.

I placed order #NB64350 on 15 August 2026 for two framed prints, paying DKK 8,051.20. The order confirmation promised Express delivery in 3–4 days.

More than two weeks later, nothing has arrived.

When I requested a full refund, Neibac did not address it. Instead, I received vague, repetitive messages saying they were “contacting the courier” and that delivery was supposedly expected “between yesterday and today.” Still no delivery. Still no refund. Still no concrete explanation, resolution date or accountability.

The courier problem is not the customer’s problem. Neibac took payment, promised express delivery and has failed to provide either the goods or a refund.

I am now pursuing the matter through my credit-card issuer. This has been an extremely poor online-shopping experience. Do not order from this company unless you are comfortable paying thousands of kroner, receiving no product, and having to chase your own refund.

Product materially different from advertised – poor canvas quality and return refused because it was framed

I am sharing my experience with NEIBAC so that other consumers can make an informed decision.

I ordered “The point where the silence begins” (75 x 150 cm) with a wooden frame. What I received differed materially from the website presentation, and I was also disappointed with the quality and appearance of the printed canvas.

The neutral beige/cream background shown online appeared prominently pink/salmon on the delivered artwork; the blue/turquoise foliage was considerably more saturated; the floral details differed; and the white border and wooden frame also appeared noticeably different from the website images.

Importantly, this was not simply a matter of my subjective colour perception. After I sent photographs and explained the discrepancies, NEIBAC checked its own print file and acknowledged a colour reproduction issue, stating that the right side appeared darker. It proposed collecting the artwork and reprinting it using a different method “that will not alter the colors at all”, adding that it wanted me to receive the correct colours “just as they appear on the site”.

Given the extent of the discrepancies and my concerns about the canvas quality, I declined another print and repeatedly requested a return and refund.

Only after several days of correspondence was I told for the first time:

“We cannot process a return because it is a framed painting.”

I find that position difficult to reconcile with what preceded it. The frame was part of my order from the outset. I did not provide bespoke dimensions, choose a unique colour, request an inscription or provide any individual specifications. I selected the size and framed configuration from NEIBAC’s predetermined options.

Moreover, NEIBAC had itself proposed collecting the artwork and reprinting the canvas because of the colour problem. Under that proposed solution, the incorrect canvas would necessarily have been replaced. This makes it difficult for me to understand why the existing frame should subsequently prevent the return of the entire product. Nor is it clear to me why selecting a frame from standard options should make it “personalised”. In my view, a standard-size frame containing an incorrect print does not appear inherently specific to one customer and could potentially be reused for another artwork of the same dimensions.

There was also a separate shipping issue. €70 for “Express Shipping (3-4 Days)” was the only delivery option presented to me for Greece, despite the website advertising “Free shipping on all orders throughout Europe.” The shipment was recorded as dispatched on 5 August and delivered on 12 August. When I questioned the charge, NEIBAC explained that a different courier was required for Greece.

Charging €70 for “Express Shipping (3-4 Days)” creates a reasonable expectation of a premium express service. Paying such a substantial shipping fee only to receive the order seven days after dispatch was, in my experience, unacceptable — particularly when NEIBAC simultaneously advertised “Free shipping on all orders throughout Europe.”

Overall, I found NEIBAC’s handling of the transaction and complaint inconsistent and lacking in transparency: an artwork materially different from its online presentation; concerns about canvas quality; NEIBAC’s own written acknowledgement of a colour reproduction issue; followed by refusal of a return because the artwork was framed, even though the frame had been part of the order from the beginning.

Based on my experience, I would advise others not to purchase from NEIBAC. I certainly would not purchase from this company again. I wish I could post pictures of the product I received...

Nicht empfehlenswert/Not recommendable

We had ordered the painting “Whispers of the Pacific” framed in 75x150 cm. The painting was delivered very quickly, within a few days. Unfortunately, however, the actual painting did not meet our expectations at all. The resolution of the print was quite poor. The wooden frame also looked rather cheap. We therefore wanted to return the painting, but to our surprise, this was not possible. The seller referred to the terms and conditions, which state that framed prints cannot be returned. This is surprising, since even the framed print looks more like a cheap mass-produced item than a custom-made piece.

I can therefore only advise everyone to carefully consider whether they are willing to take the risk of making this purchase. If in doubt, you’ll end up with a product that falls short of your expectations and that you cannot return.

Very shady about returns

Warning: NEIBAC is refusing to honor its own published return policy.

I requested a return within the stated window, complied with their request for photos, and then spent two weeks repeatedly asking for the return address. Instead of providing it, customer service kept pressuring me to exchange the item despite multiple clear refusals.

Their policy says return instructions will be provided within 24–48 business hours. That did not happen. Based on this experience, consumers should not assume NEIBAC’s stated return policy will be honored.

Catastrophic !

Catastrophic. I paid €600 for a framed painting. It arrived damaged. They refuse to replace it and are offering me... €50. They're making a mockery of me... I do not recommend them!

Catastrophique. J'ai payé Euro 600 pour un tableau encadré. C'est arrivé abîmé. On refuse de me le changer et on m'offre ... euro 50. On se moque de moi ... je déconseille !

Catastrofico. Ho pagato 600 € per un quadro incorniciato. È arrivato danneggiato. Si rifiutano di sostituirlo e mi offrono... 50 €. Mi stanno prendendo in giro... Non li consiglio!

Katastrophal!

Do not order from Neibac

This is the worst internet pruchase I have ever done. Overpriced, did not arrive with initial shipment, frame damaged on arrival. The framing was of so poor quality that we could not hang the print as intended. I received a product, but this cannot be considered as a serious alternative for prints to be mounted on a wall for display.

avoid by all means

avoid by all means - very poor quality products and horrendous after sale service (that's if you manage to get through to them, and if they manage to understand after 10 email exchanges what you actually need). In 2026, I am shocked to see that such companies manage to survive!

Damaged paintings (2) and improper "hand painting touches"

The first painting arrived with pink spots on the white areas of the canvas. After some negotiation, Neibac agreed to send a replacement. Because the canvas texture looked too flat and didn't convincingly resemble a hand-painted artwork, we decided to pay an additional €90 for the "hand-painted touches" option.

Unfortunately, the replacement arrived with the exact same issue, with pink spots still visible on the white sections. The hand-painted touches covered less than 5% of the artwork, making the upgrade feel misleading and not worth the extra cost. Overall, the quality was well below what was advertised, and we were disappointed with both the product and the additional service.

Horrible experience

⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this shop.

I ordered a painting costing over €500 and it took more than two months to arrive. When it finally arrived, the frame was broken and the overall quality was far below what I expected for this price.

Customer service is quite rude and does not offer adequate solutions.

Poor quality, poor packaging, long delivery time and a disappointing after-sales service. I would not buy from this shop again.
