I had a plumbing emergency where the cistern was overflowing due to a broken ballcock and the inlet valve was leaking badly from the bottom of the cistern all over the floor so I had to shut down the main water supply. I called MPW and Matt was helpful and reassuring on the phone saying he’d get someone to me very shortly keeping me up to date by phone back. Zac arrived at about 9pm and did a prompt and efficient repair installing a new fill valve and flexi hose and inlet valve which took about 45 minutes and he was very obliging throughout. The invoice came the next day and was in line with expectations so no hidden shocks. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and would use MPW again if I had another plumbing emergency.

Great service! The friendly plumbing engineer quickly dealt with our mains water emergency. He carried out the work of fitting new pipework and connectors speedily and efficiently.

We had a leak under our skin from the pipe leading to our outside tape. We were able to isolate, but MPW came out on the same day as calling them on a non emergency rate and fixed it. Plumber was polite, friendly and kept everything clean and tidy. Very pleased with their work.

When part of my kitchen ceiling fell in this morning due to a leaking toilet upstairs. I phoned MPW as I’d used them before to fit a radiator and knew they do a good job. The Woman who answered the phone was very kind and reassuring which was very welcome as I was still a little shocked and slightly panicky! She told me the hourly costs upfront, which I felt were very fair, and after agreeing this she said they’d send someone within 30 minutes. Josh the plumber arrived in less than that..He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and the job was done thoroughly. In fact he was able to fix another problem with the cistern at the same time which I’d been meaning to get done... Josh was respectful and very professional. Thanks Josh and MPW for showing up when I really needed help today..

We had an emergency and the plumber was with us in 3 hours and sorted our leek really quickly without any fuss. He waited until the heating was working propertly before he left & cleaned up after himself too. polite, friendly & professional service.
