I was recently referred by Bookinghealth.com (MedExpert Consulting) to Professor Dr. Frank Gansauge at Laboratories Dr. Gansauge (LDG) in Berg, Germany. After reviewing my medical records for Stage IV colorectal cancer and secondary liver cancer (currently N.E.D. following surgery and 10 rounds of chemo in 2026), they matched my interest in immunotherapy with Dr. Gansauge.

I had consulted with my oncologist at Emory Hospital, and with doctors at Mayo, and M.D. Anderson, but their immunotherapies didn't seem as advanced as the dendritic cell therapy Dr. Gansauge has specialized in for many years. His therapy works in conjunction with standard of care.

Throughout the entire procedure, both Booking Health and Dr. Gansauge were professional and followed through on every agreement. The Booking Health team was readily available, which was reassuring given the initial nerves of wiring funds to a foreign entity. While I read some difficult Reddit reviews about changing contracts, my experience was smooth because I followed the plan and did my homework. We also conducted our own background checks on Dr. Gansauge before proceeding.

Booking Health provided all necessary case studies and a preliminary consultation and the Professor answered all my questions. The logistics were painless: they set up a blood draw, followed by a personalized Dendritic Cell Therapy infusion six days later. The support staff (Charly, Sylvie, and Horst) provided excellent transportation, and our interpreter, Claudia, was invaluable. She stayed by my side for all three clinic visits, clarifying details with the broader medical staff even though the Professor speaks excellent English.

My husband and I now have a clear understanding of the laboratory process and what to expect next. I am currently supporting my 6 million newly armed dendritic cells with nutrition, exercise, and Vitamin D.

Based on this experience, and hope of cancer remission, I would recommend all of these parties. I plan to update this review annually to share my progress.

Right from start Tanya so helpful finding right clinic for me and getting me booked in so quickly and Katrina organising hotel, flights boarding passes etc.
Meeting Claudia at clinic lovely lady putting my mind at ease and even showed us place to go for breakfast next day, all questions I had were answered. I have stage 4 Medullary thyroid cancer my Dr in the US suggested I go to Germany for a dendritic cell therapy. That was a little scary honestly however Health Booking made it easy to book arrangements from a zoom call with myself and my doctor here in the US. When I decided to move forward with the treatment Julia Meinhard helped with every detail from payment, to all travel arrangements in Germany. Julia helped with hotels, car rental, suggestions on what to do and see while I was in Berg. LDG laboratories was clean and very professional I felt very comfortable there with my translator Claudia making sure I understood everything. I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in June 2024. In approximately a year my cancer had progressed to stage four and uncureable. It was then that I decided to do some research on alternate treatments. I contacted booking health.com and spoke with Denis. My experience from then on was exceptional. They quickly analyze my situation and recommended a doctor to deal with my health issues. They answered all of my questions and concerns. Soon after I decided that I would go to Germany for dendritic cell therapy with Dr. Gangauge. I was searching on the internet for treatments for my pulmonary fibrosis and found Dr Gansauge's clinic, called LDG Laboratories. They specialize in dendritic cell-based immunotherapy, and are located near Munich, Germany.
I filled out an online request for information from their booking agency, called Booking Health, for information, and Denis Walker called my phone and walked me through the whole procedure. This included how to get to the clinic, the treatment at the clinic, the payment, and what information they needed from my doctor.
Then they appointed Katarina Goldberg as my travel manager to help me book the flights to Munich and back, book a local hotel near the clinic, and arrange all the transportation to and from the airport, hotel, and clinic. She was always available to answer any questions.
These people, and the staff at LDG Laboratories, made the whole trip and the treatment easy and stress free. They were nice, friendly, and helpful people.

From beginning to end, this was an exceptional experience. I first inquired through the website Booking Health and was contacted within a day by one of their representatives. I received all of the information I needed about the treatment. There was no pressure to do anything right away, the contact person respected the time I needed to consider everything. Once we decided to book the treatment, everything was seamless. I was assigned a travel manager that booked all of our rides to and from the airport and clinic appointments. We were assigned a translator, Claudia, that was with us throughout each appointment. She was so kind and wonderful, and gave us great advice and information about the area we were staying. She explained each step of the process to us clearly and made sure we were comfortable. The clinic was so kind to our two children who came along with us and sat in the office during my appointments. Dr. Gansauge was so knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to, and the staff took great care of me. The treatment was easy. When I first found the BookingHealth website I had never heard of Dendritic cell treatment, so it was a wonderful surprise to me to discover that there is a treatment available within Europe that is not wholly out of financial reach. This is ground breaking treatment that costs between $100-200,000 in the USA - it has cost us £35,000, which I know is a lot but, it is much more within reach. (This has included making all arrangements, local transport, translator & treatment). Interestingly a lot of American cancer patients attend the clinic as it is so much more affordable.
I filled in my contact details along with a brief description of my condition at the weekend and promptly received an email on the Monday arranging an initial call.
From then events moved quickly - I emailed BookingHealth my cancer medical history and within five days had a response that a German Professor based in Berg, just outside Munich, who specialises in my cancer - metastatic Triple Negative breast cancer - had said I was a good candidate for treatment.
They explained the treatment protocol and the sequence of events - I would go there initially for a minimum of two days for blood tests day 1 and blood extraction day 2; I would then need to be there 7 days later for the treated white cells to be injected back into me.
And that is exactly what happened - an efficient exchange of emails and watsapps confirmed times & transport arrangements and, after a quick flight to Munich on the Sunday, we were met at the airport by a lovely taxi driver in an extremely comfortable Mercedes carrier, and transferred to our hotel.
Picked up from hotel the following day for a forty minute drive to the clinic. The driver waited whilst I spent just about an hour having bloods checked and sequence of treatment confirmed.
Back the following day for infusions of vitamins B, C & D and, because I was anaemic, iron. Whilst this was taking place the Dr drew 150 mls of my blood for the actual treatment.
Done, back to the hotel, glass of wine & meal in the hotel bar and picked up the following day and taken to airport.
Repeat the travel a week later - flew out on Monday, nice meal, collected Tuesday and back to clinic. I had some more vitamins - takes about half an hour - and then the Dr came and showed me my results of the bloods and the box with my name on and the two small syringes inside that contained the treated cells. These were almost painlessly injected into my stomach which took less than two minutes.
I will admit I suddenly became very emotional as the implications of the whole trip hit me - the chance of spending some more time with my family after nearly four years of relentless treatment and uncertainty, was suddenly becoming a real possibility.
The staff at the clinic are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They were very kind, friendly & consumate professionals.
They all speak some English, but I had the added benefit of a fantastic translator who not only understood all the medical terminology, but explained all the nuances of what was being said. I have to wait three months now for the full effects of the treatment to be realised. In the meantime I feel better psychologically than I have since December 2022 when the full force of the chemotherapy, along with the full implications of my situation really hit me. At Munich airport my husband said “I feel like we can start picking up the pieces of our life again now”.
Oh, and as a bonus there is the most fantastic bakery & cafe literally next door to the clinic.

Booking Health was extremely easy to work with, very thorough, and took care of every detail including the wonderful drivers that provided transportation as well as other necessary information.

LDG Laboratories in Berg was a breath of fresh air. So clean and welcoming. Dr. Gansauge & Dr. Christiane Taubert were professional, kind and made me feel at home far away in Germany. I went there for Dendritic Cell Vaccine and had a great experience.

My Wife & I live in the USA and I have been chasing prostate cancer since 2018. After surgery the cancer returned in 6 months, after 2 months of Proton & ADT the cancer returned after 14 months and after 5 sessions of SABR & ADT the cancer returned after 2 months. So, we figured, why not fight the cancer with Dendritic Cell Therapy while it was living in my blood & there were no tumors. It just made sense to us. From our first phone contact from Monica I felt she was honest & had a positive attitude. She was very patient with us as we asked numerous questions (via phone & emails) regarding the procedure, travel plans and costs. Her description of the treatment was never over-sold & no promises of a miracle cure were made which we greatly appreciated. Next, we dealt with Katarina regarding our travel itinerary and she offered many sightseeing suggestions near our Airbnb along with car rental, grocery stores, etc. On our first day at LDG we met our assigned translator: Claudia who is a wonderful & caring person. She kept us on track with our schedule and communication was never an issue as she made us feel very comfortable with the entire process. We had a lengthy meeting with Dr, Gansauge that did not disappoint. Every possible question was answered along with a realistic discussion of possible outcomes. The next day a blood test was performed along with collection of blood needed to prepare the vaccine. Dr. Gansauge's assnt: Christiana was extremely professional and caring - she even paused so I could say an emotional prayer before receiving the 2 vaccine shots. Personally, I had no negative reaction to the vaccines so after2 days we were headed back home along with instructions to take Vitamin-D twice a week and to share results from a CT scan 3 months later. I cannot begin to express the positive experience we received while in Germany. I remain optimistic and pray that the Dendritic Cell Therapy will be successful!

I was treated with respect and care at LDG by the nurses, doctor, and interpreter Claudia, so it was nice to sit back and get their services without thinking a lot about what I needed to do, which was dendritic cell therapy for my GBM, so wish me luck.
Also Booking Health was the company that hooked me up with the therapy and they handled everything for me. No worries there. Hishem at Med Expert seemed a little unresponsive at first but once we started chatting on WhatsApp, there were no issues whatsoever.
I can't say at this point, whether I would recommend this therapy for others but it has only been a few days since I received the infusion. Again, wish me luck!

I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November, 2024. From the start my stategy has been to first reduce the number of tumors and prevent the remainder from progressing. Then to undergo immunotherapies that would awaken my immune system to create a systemic response. During the first 19 months a combination of chemotherapy and ablation therapies reduced my tumor load by 80%. In the 20th month I went to Germany for my first immunotherapy. I chose LDG because DC therapy involves vaccinating me with my own blood, properly modified, rather than something potentially toxic. The enrollment process was managed by Kate Powell who answered all questions promptly, thoroughly and always courteously, this despite the fact that I had many questions! The quality and timing of her responses are what persuaded me to commit. She sold me without ever selling at me. Upon arrival at LDG, my wife and I encountered a staff that could not have been more welcoming or more professional. This was especially true of Claudia Nicolovius-Jelenik, the BH associate who is simultaneously a diplomat, translator and hostess...and manaages all 3 roles with warmth and grace. The procedure itself was painless and managed with competence and humor by both a nurse and physician. It will be months before I know if the therapy is beneficial, but the delivery process was a five star experience.

Booking health has been very professional and responsive from start to finish. We were looking for treatment not offered in Norway and so far all is good.
Initially, we received detailed information from Monica and Julia. Our interpreter Sina was very kind, helpful and organised making the clinic visits a breeze. Zerin was a very good and experienced driver. We fully recommend their services.

Our purpose for using Booking Health was to receive a Dendritic Cell Vaccine from from Dr. Gansauge. I found the treatment we wanted but it wasn’t available in the USA where we live. I knew we had to get to Germany and get an appointment with Dr. Gansauge. Booking Health was able to do all of that. I requested information from Booking Health and a very kind person, Tanja, reached out to me the following day to get more information. I sent medical reports for review and they had a plan for us to receive this vaccine within a weeks time. The efficiency they move with is remarkable. We had never been to Germany so the idea of maneuvering around a new country and dealing with medical offices seemed overwhelming. Ironically, it was easier than dealing with doctors and appointments in the US. Tanja set up our schedule, Nassim arranged all our logistics, and Claudia was our interpreter. We had a driver in a Mercedes van take us to all our appointments. From landing in Munich to our departure, everything was thought of and taken care of. They took the stress out of a stressful situation.

This treatment saved my husband’s life. In December of 2024 my husband was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). His prognosis was 1-2 years to live. We are Canadian and went through the treatment process with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Doctors told us that they won’t be able to reduce the size of the tumour, they can only try to prevent it from growing further.
This was difficult to accept, I began to hunt for clinical trials and alternative therapies. I contacted 3 doctors involved in successful clinical trials in immune therapy asking how I could access this type of treatment and they all suggested to try going to Germany. This was intimidating to travel across the world with my husband to seek out a treatment unknown if it would help. I found Booking Health and MedExpert Consulting and began our journey. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions. In November of 2025 we took a leap of faith and we travelled to Starnberg for treatment at LDG Laboratories for dendritic cell therapy with Dr. Gansauge. It was scary to spend the money for this treatment but when life is on the line, it was worth every penny spent!
We were greeted at the airport with the most friendly driver and got settled. Our first consultation we met with Claudia who embraced us like family. She is so amazing, positive and kind. We had our consultation with Dr Gansauge who was excellent and has a great sense of humour. They answered all of our questions and I was put at ease. The treatment is an easy process with blood draw and vitamin infusions, then a week later you get 2 injections and more vitamin infusions. The rest of the time we saw sights around the area which is beautiful!! We returned to Canada and had 2 MRIs since this treatment. The results of the latest MRI were described by the reviewing oncologist as “STRIKING” in comparison to the MRI we had just before we left for treatment.
We returned in April/May 2026for another round of treatment because this treatment along with daily low dose chemotherapy was working wonders! My husband’s quality of life has been very much improved and he is able to enjoy his many hobbies and be around to raise our children.
Before our first trip I read all the reviews to help us make our decision and I hope this review will help others make a life changing decision. I am so grateful to have found this treatment and met the wonderful and caring staff who are helping people around the world battle cancer.
