Masterfix were appointed by our insurers so when they left us with a leaking sink and defective tap after replacing the original sink, we had no recourse to them and are having to argue it out with the insurers. The experience reminded me of a time when I had a tyre repaired outside my house and then had another tyre needing repair because of a number of nails that had mysteriously appeared. We had a mint condition sink that had a chip in; after Masterfix's plumber replaced the sink, having removed and re-installed the taps, the taps became defective, with the spray tap leaking. All a coincidence apparently! Perhaps you get a different experience if dealing direct; had these been my own contractors, I would be suing them for damages.

Friendly and efficient service

Iv never used masterfix as a customer because I work for masterfix as a plumbing and heating engineer.
We live in a country where freedom of speech is one of our highest qualities, and this was given to us by the previous generations of brave men and women.
Everyone is entitled to leave a review of there experience with masterfix and it's important that they have that right.
However when I read a review, left by an ex engineer for what ever his reasons are which i find is completely unacceptable and untrue then im afraid it calls into question how easy it is in this digital world to vent frustration and hatred onto a hard working and respectable company for one's own personal reasons.
Iv worked for masterfix for 14 years as a plumbing and heating engineer and iv achieved this because masterfix are a good company to work for, while striving to be the best company you can rely on.
Did masterfix ask me to right this review ?.
Absolutely not, im on holiday so im not reachable.
Is masterfix a perfect company ?.
No there not there isn't such a thing as a perfect company but they sure come close.
Do masterfix put profit over staff ?.
Absolutely not, all companies need to make a profit thereby employing people like me to make a living.
People like me then pay our tax and national insurance to benefit the less well off and more vulnerable people in our society, thats democracy.
Masterfix have always prioritised the well being of there staff while still achieving the high level of service engineers like me deliver 24 hours a day.
However all of us at masterfix from the office staff to the engineers work night and day to deliver to you the best service we can (iv been doing this for 14 years and will keep doing it).
We aren't perfect, but we are proud and we will work with you to deliver a service that we can be proud of and you will be happy with, this is what we call exceptional service.
Im not writing this review for any other reason other than explaining that iv worked hard for masterfix for 14 years, even getting in to my van at 11pm to attend to an emergency anywhere in london and I do that because I fully believe masterfix is a great company to work for and will always strive to deliver an exceptional point on service that that we and you can be proud of.

Master fix are a company that put profits above every thing I had there director called and he was threatening me on the phone because I was unhappy.

Electrician, great, polite and was efficient

Excellent service. Plumber available within the hour and issue was fixed first time. As a Property Manager this is all you can ask for. Problem? What problem?

Really helpful engineers who go above and beyond to provide good service and advice

Tony is just a highly experienced and knowledgeable plumber. And Chelsea in the office is super efficient in making the appointment,arranging payment, and following up, and could not be more pleasant to work with.

I have used Masterfix for many years including very large projects of £250,000 plus to small jobs such as curtain pole fitting. They are in my experience the best. They employ top quality workforce and are quick to react.

Very quick to attend to our concern. Thumbs up to Masterfix! 🙂

Anthony and Kieran went above and beyond in a very complex job to replace the boiler. Not only did they finish earlier than the estimated time, they went the extra mile to label sockets and teach me things that will help reduce my electricity bill. They were very kind, decent and helpful. Anthony in particular has been for a few visits and always done his level best to ensure a happy customer. Safe to say, won’t be going anywhere else in the future if I need any kind of repairs.

They took forever to fix our lock. It took over 2 months, would not recomend.

Dan was very helpful, polite, and pleasant despite having to be called in on a bank holiday to address our faulty outlet. Fixed our issue quickly.
