Home delivery of paint gone wrong
I ordered paint and asked for home delivery and I live in the city in an apartment building. The conditions state: "Varen må stilles på eget ansvar" -- "The item must be delivered at your own risk", which is also the only home delivery option available on their website. I was home the entire day. There was no notification of delivery, no call, no sms, no buzzing on the door. Nothing. The delivery was left on the street, not even in front of the main building door, but on the street in front of the building. A neighbour had to let me know that I had a palette of paint standing on the street. When I got to it finally, it was peed on by a dog, so I had to take my paint like that dog pee and all. When complained to customer service their response was that "Varen må stilles på eget ansvar" and that I had signed this when I agreed to the home delivery. But they left it on the street.. with no notice..in the city. This was not ok, and the response was not ok. I expected more from a company that does online delivery.

However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the delivery process. The delivery method we use is clearly stated on our website, including the conditions that the item must be delivered at your own risk. This was agreed upon when you selected home delivery and accepted our terms and conditions. Therefore, we believe it is not entirely fair to judge our service based on a method you were aware of in advance.
According to the photo provided by Danske Fragtmænd at the time of delivery, the pallet was placed just below the stairs to your building, next to the house number, and not on the street as mentioned. This indicates that the information provided is not completely accurate.
Furthermore, we have forwarded your complaint about not being notified to Danske Fragtmænd. However, we have checked our notification history, and it shows that both an SMS and an email were sent on the day of delivery, informing you that your item would arrive.
We understand this situation has been less than ideal, and we are here to help resolve any further concerns you may have.

Tak for de 5-Stjerner! - Vi kan hurtigt blive helt enige om at 50kr er for meget til fragten af denne pose glimmer. Men det er faktisk vores kostpris. Hvis hvis vi skal være billige på vores vare, er vi nød til at få dækket fragt omkostningerne. Vi vil dog se på mulighederne for at kunne tilvælge andre udbydere af fragt. Tak for din feedback!
