My daughter really needed some help…
My daughter really needed some help with maths before GCSE’s so we enrolled her in Mathnasium, Lichfield and we are so glad we did because her confidence has improved and the assessments show a clear picture that she’s achieving. Yes it’s a cost but it’s been worth it for us to give our daughter the best possible chance of success.
great at building skills and confidence
Both of my children were behind in math, so we decided to give Mathnasium a try, and I am so glad we did. Not only did they actually love going, but we saw such a huge difference in their basic math skills, confidence, and overall attitude toward math. As a parent, it is hard to see your kids fall behind, especially in something as important as math. The team at Mathnasium met both of my kids exactly where they were and helped fill in the gaps they had been struggling with and helped build the skills they will need going forward. We appreciate the team and their love and care for my children while we were there.

Absolutely fantastic maths centre
Absolutely fantastic maths centre in Sheen , an enjoyable experience for the children , and great welcome staff , the children are rewarded with star cards which encourages great work and enthusiasm.
Kieran is incredible and a real attribute to mathnasium !
My daughter was hesitant to attend
My daughter was hesitant to attend. However, in a short space of time, she had stopped seeing maths in a negative way. We have just left as my daughter has now sat her final maths gcse and she found them ok. My daughter loved the teachers there and will look back on her time here fondly. The only slight negative is that sometimes the younger students could be quite loud whilst the older kids were working. Having different session times based on age would be beneficial. Ill be in touch with my daughters gcse results!
Great Support and Fantastic Team – Highly Recommend Mathnasium Richmond, UK
Mathnasium Richmond, United Kingdom has been a wonderful experience for our son. The team has created a welcoming and engaging learning environment that has helped build both his confidence and enthusiasm for maths.
A special mention to Shane and Dylan, who have been fantastic throughout. Their support, encouragement and genuine interest in our son's progress have made a real difference and have helped keep him motivated and enjoying the sessions.
The team initially helped him catch up when he was struggling with elements of the Year 5 curriculum, before supporting him through his 11+ preparation. They have since continued to guide him through SATs preparation, providing consistency and encouragement at every stage of his learning journey.
One aspect we've particularly appreciated as busy working parents is the flexibility of the booking system. Being able to vary session times from week to week, and even book on the same day when needed, has made it so much easier to fit lessons around work commitments and the ever-changing schedule of children's activities.
We're very pleased with the progress we've seen so far and would highly recommend Mathnasium Richmond to any family looking for extra maths support.
I'm not sure who I spoke with
I'm not sure who I spoke with, but I called the Fort Lee, NJ location to learn more about their services. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with hung up on me while I was trying to explain my child's school-related issues.
When I called back, the attendant was very dismissive and came across as distant and unfriendly. I genuinely felt as though they were doing me a favor by speaking with me.
I ended up contacting another provider, and the difference in customer service was remarkable. They were kind, patient, and took the time to understand my children's needs.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.

I highly recommend Mathnasium for anyone who is in need of excellent math tutors; they are knowledgeable and keep up to date with their techniques.
They helped my Daughter go from an F in math to an A.
Mathnasium was a tremendous help and I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of help.
Thank You Mathnasium for all you do;
you all are lifesavers. 🌹
Does not honor rewards earned
Our child attended Mathnasium in Markham, Ontario for about two years and earned roughly $200 in gift card credits through their incentive program. We were disappointed to learn that because she did not re-enroll, the credits she had already earned were forfeited.
What made this especially upsetting is that these rewards were earned by a child who worked hard for them over a long period of time. It’s difficult to understand how a business can take away something a child legitimately earned simply because they are no longer continuing in the program.
We also referred several students to this location who ended up enrolling. After years as paying customers and supporting the business through referrals, the experience left us feeling that customer loyalty was not valued.
The teaching itself was helpful for our daughter, but parents should clearly ask about the terms surrounding reward credits and whether they expire or are forfeited if a student leaves the program.

“Mathnasium provides good practice and helps build strong math fundamentals. The staff is friendly and helpful. Scheduling is flexible, though progress may take time depending on the child’s learning pace.”
GYMNASIUM MATHNASIUM IS THE GOAT

Poor results and Child Safety concerns
My daughter attended Mathnasium for a about a year and a half between the beginning of 2022 and the end of 2023.
A few points i picked up over time that I wasn't very happy with.
First some (not all) of the tutors had quite a heavy accent which made the learning process quite difficult for my daughter to navigate.
Second, my daughter attended quite frequently however, her progress was very slow, partially (in my opinion) due to the programs structure. The program allows for the children to come into the tutoring centre several times a week although the tutors themselves seem to work on a rotating roster type system and so, it was difficult to continue to see the same tutor each session, this led to some tutors being less patient than others, less engaged than others, less willing or even less capable in their efforts to teach.
The third and last was a safety concern that occurred towards the end of our time at Mathnasium. Following a holiday period, the centre changed management and we had a miscommunication surrounding payment, however, at no stage did I nor the centre cancel an upcoming session and so as scheduled my daughter who was primary school age at the time was dropped at the centre for her session by her nanny, after her nanny had left the new centre manager asked my daughter to leave. Given her age at the time, my daughter did not know what to do and so, she stood outside the centre, fortunately the nanny had to drive back past the centre to go home and saw her standing on the footpath outside. The centre, did not call me or her father or the emergency contact number to notify anyone that our daughter was awaiting collection they just left a young child outside.... Obviously, I was incredibly upset at the time and went to centre to confront the centre manager. The centre manager was apologetic at the time; however, this was a safety issue and absolutely unacceptable. We didn't stay with the centre for very long after that.
I love this place my granddaughter…
I love this place my granddaughter Vivian goes there and she loves it thanks for all the help
BAD PLACW
when i first started i was in sixth grade. They gave me worksheets that were for a thrid grader. My sister was also enrolled and she was in thrid grade math as well so I felt very stupid because I was leanring the same things as her.
Really impressed with the Tunbridge…
Really impressed with the Tunbridge Wells Branch with which my teenager has joined to resit his maths GCSE with the aim of getting a higher grade. Mark, the manager was very realistic and clear in explaining how the programme works and my son has really engaged with it. I like the updates and the clear way the data is produced. The teaching staff have been great with my son. He hasn’t taken the exam yet but either way the teaching has been beneficial to him and has certainly increased his confidence in maths. I particularly liked how flexible the lessons are and that we can change the times and dates easily and more lessons are included in the price if needed. It’s not cheap but it feels worth the money. I wish I’d heard of this company earlier.
Being Great at math
I was once was kid who struggled in math. But then I found M@thnasium and I was quickly excelling..
From struggling in math to becoming the smartest kids in his class.
My son was once a kid who struggled in 3rd grade maths. He was getting very bad grades and his average was 50 upon 100. His school recommended that he get help. We tried Mathnasium out and they made him do work related to his grade level. They even helped him out with his homework. Mathnasium was quickly helping my son understand the maths and he began to excel. Now he is top scorer in his math class and his teacher was very impressed.with him.
2 months on
“Two months on, and he’s still happily going. Positive results have started to show in his school tests — his first test was 46/50 and the second 49/50. Before Mathnasium, he was barely getting 30. He feels happier and more confident.” Thanks to the Mathanasium Dulwich branch
