Very poor customer service took over 2…
Very poor customer service took over 2 weeks to just let me know how to return this product as it did not function as advertised. Then responded 2 days after finally reaching back out to me to tell me they are closing the ticket due to no response?!?!? I have sent 4 emails with tracking information and they went ghost again. I would never suggest any of these products just because they can’t respond in a timely fashion but have higher expectations from their customers.
Absolutely Appalling Product and…
Absolutely Appalling Product and Customer Service. Avoid Hume Health at All Costs!
Nearly £300 wasted. Two defective devices. Weeks of frustration. No refund. Absolutely disgraceful.
I genuinely cannot remember the last time I experienced such an appalling combination of poor product quality, incompetent customer service and complete disregard for consumer rights.
I purchased a Hume Band for nearly £300, expecting a premium health-tracking device. What I received was a product that hasn’t worked properly since the day I bought it.
The band consistently failed to record basic health metrics, including heart rate, HRV, sleep, stress levels and blood oxygen saturation. Essentially, the very functions I purchased it for.
After countless emails, screenshots, photographs and troubleshooting procedures, Hume Health eventually agreed to send me a replacement.
Unbelievably, THE REPLACEMENT WAS JUST AS USELESS!
It suffered from virtually identical problems, failing to record the data it was supposedly designed to monitor.
At this point, I had completely lost faith in the product and quite reasonably requested a refund.
You would think that after supplying TWO defective devices, a reputable company would apologise, acknowledge the failure and return the customer’s money.
Not Hume Health.
Instead, I was subjected to more emails, more pointless troubleshooting requests, more delays and eventually an offer to send me a THIRD device!
How many defective products does a customer have to receive before this company accepts that its products are simply not fit for purpose?
What makes this experience even worse is Hume Health’s apparent disregard for UK consumer protection legislation.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Where a replacement also fails to conform to the contract, consumers can have a statutory right to reject the goods and receive a refund.
Despite repeatedly explaining this and explicitly refusing another replacement, I have still not received a satisfactory resolution.
I have now escalated this matter for legal action concerning my consumer rights.
It is absolutely extraordinary that a company selling supposedly premium health technology would allow a customer complaint worth less than £300 to reach this stage rather than simply resolving it.
My experience has been nothing short of exhausting. The products have been unreliable, the customer service has been painfully repetitive, and the entire complaints process has felt like an exercise in wearing the customer down until they give up.
Well, I won’t be giving up.
My advice to anyone considering purchasing a Hume Band: DON’T.
Save your money, save your time and save yourself the frustration.
I would not recommend this product or company to anyone based on my experience.
Two defective devices, weeks of wasted time, endless excuses and still no refund.
Hume Health should be thoroughly embarrassed by how this has been handled.
An absolutely disgraceful experience from beginning to end. If I could give zero stars, I would.
They are scammers
They are scammers. I have been receiving unwanted calls, emails, and texts from them. I check my balances every day because I think they are trying to fraudulently charge my cards. Do not even view any of their ads, or this will happen to you too.
Terrible company
Terrible company. No customer service. I never got my band; I finally had to go through my cc company and got my money back.
This company will be out of business within a year. 2027
Charging pad fell off, no replacement after 3 weeks
I bought a Hume Band 2.0 on July 14, 2026, with the Lifetime 10-year warranty.
After about 3 months the charging pad came off and the band won't charge at all. I contacted Hume on October 19. On October 27 they said my case was forwarded for a replacement review, and I confirmed my shipping address that same day.
On November 2 support said it had been passed to a specialist. Since then, nothing — no replacement decision, no update, just marketing emails.
Searching online, I found several other customers reporting the same thing — the charging contacts coming off after weeks to a few months — and many of them also said customer service stopped responding to them.
The band is dead and unusable. I want the warranty replacement, or I'll just take a refund and buy a different fitness tracker.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I purchased the hume 2.0 band and realized it wasn’t as good as the other brands. I’ve been trying to return it and there’s no response. They say they have a customer service chat but it’s just a robot that doesn’t help.
I highly recommend not to buy this item. Customer service is awful.

My device somehow detached from the strap throughout my day, the team was very understanding and the customer service was great
They do not respond when you ask for a refund
I found that the information was not useful to me so I returned it as per their policy. Paid top dollar for a secure and recorded return. Received a confirmation of delivery the next day. I never received an email in return and still have not been refunded 15 working days since they received it! Will probably have to write to the ombudsman and consumer protection authorities to get my refund.
Top notch customer service
I ended up sending my pod back, but I cannot praise the customer services enough. They were attentive, fast and spot on with my query and my refund. Very rare to find such service these days

I paid 1100 dollars for 3 consecutive months of a starter microdose of 2.0.
There is no real doctor interaction , it seems based on AI and faulty readings and measurements.
Ive gained weight for over 30 days yet they advised to even take a lower dose .
Shipments are always late and doctors take many days to respond without any actual personal response just repeating the same statements.
I managed to lose 20 pounds in 9 weeks mostly through intermittent fasting and lots of exercise but not much help from hume health.
I feel they are there to maximum their profits by only giving microdoses and ignoring the actual customer needs.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do NOT Recommend.
The Bluetooth connection from the App to my scale stopped working. It worked for several months and then just wouldn’t connect. The data I had received I found interesting.
I purposely purchased a lifetime warranty on this specifically because of the Bluetooth and the data in the App vs. the scale.
The App lists no way to contact someone. I went snd put in a contact me on the website. I got an update mediate response. From there, this has gone extremely sour.
I then sent five emails and finally got a response. I was told to then ensure the scale connected to Bluetooth. It does not.
I requested a Warranty Claim — sent a second email nearly a week ago. No answer. Sent an additional email just now.
Who has the patience for such malarkey, especially when you purchase a LIFETIME warranty?
Terrible Customer Service
I informed the company on 10/18/2026 that i wanted to return my Hume Band 2.0 due to the battery percentage dropping 12-15% the very first day while claiming it had a 14 day battery life. For the price of this item I think it should stand up to the claims. I then received this message: Thank you for reaching out. This is an automatic message, so you don’t have to wait for us to ask for the details. Please reply to this email with:
• Your order number (starts with SHHUME# or HUMEDE#, in your order confirmation email)
• The email address and full name on the order
• Which product it’s about (Hume Band or Hume Pod) and a short description of what you need help with, with a photo if something is damaged or not working
A team member will pick it up from there. We’re handling a high volume of requests and replies are taking longer than usual, so having these details ready helps us move quickly. Please reply here instead of opening a new request, and if you’ve already sent this, you don’t need to send it again.
Regards,
Hume Health Support Team
8 days later I still had not received a response back. After which I chose to send it back via USPS Signature Confirmation. On 10/31 the package was delivered and signed for. Today is 11/4 and I still have not received any correspondence. I want my money refunded. It seems like this is the only way to contact the company. Order # is 1927639.
Terrible band
Terrible band, terrible customer service, terrible app. Just terrible! Avoid.

I have never heard of this company until I had a fraudulent charge of $252.03 on my debit, what a pain when you have to cancel your card and wait for a new one
Bad experience with Hume health band
When I got my hume health band I downloaded the app, synced it to my phone and the first thing it wanted to do was sell me an upgrade to premium as if $199 wasn't enough of an investment out of the gate.
I chose not to spend even more money on the upgrade to premium until I saw some value out of what I already paid for.
After a week of wearing the hume health band and seeing the band not able to tell me anything because it said it needed to calibrate. Finally, it started to show some numbers. However, most days it says it can't give me the daily brief because it didn't collect enough data. It also says it didn't collect enough data to assess my overnight sleep though i did wear it all night. For blood pressure it says elevated, not systolic and diastolic numbers you can look up and understand in a meaningful way.
As I know it, all I was supposed to do was wear the device all the time and including while i am sleeping and it is supposed to do its job. I don't wear it in the shower, or for the rare 1.5 hours needed to charge it, but otherwise, it is on my wrist.
Other metrics the band collects show a highlight target area and it gives you a number that makes no sense based on the target area or scale. For instance, one day it told me I only did about 1,670 steps. That same day I walked over 2 miles at my city's community track (meaning a measured distance), in addition to whatwever walking I did working all day and running errands, including going to the grocery store.
BTW, for those who don't know 1 mile is 5,280 steps so how could my entire day's total just be 1,670 steps.
Could it be because I didn't choose to immediately buy the premium upgrade? Could it be because it is a defective device? Who knows because I haven't heard back from their support people and their AI assistant on their website is useless for anything like this situation.
Bottom line, I am trying to return the device for a refund because I can't find value in it as it works now and don't want them saying I waited to long to be entitled to a refund.
Lastly, regarding their customer service and tech support responsiveness, I have sent several requests to their support people at support email address they have on the device paperwork and their website with details and am awaiting a response.
Btw, with most other companys if you send a request for support you usually get an immediate automated response stating they got your email and will follow up. Not so with hume health, but hopefully they respond to address my situation soon. If they don't respond, I will ask my credit card company for help and lodge complaints with the FTC and post more reviews on sites like this to keep other people from running into the same bad experience as me.
I bought my Hume band 2.0 a few weeks…
I bought my Hume band 2.0 a few weeks ago with the expectation to have among other things blood pressure readings as seen in the commercials and official information.
The fact of the matter is that the app is just shows a graph with unreadable ranges and no specific measurements. I'm totally disappointed and feel ripped off.
You pay for it, but they sell your info and you don't really own it.
I bought the Hume Pod expecting to own an intelligent device to help monitor health. Nothing I saw before buying told me it requires a Hume account to do anything beyond showing weight. The body-composition readings, which are the reason I paid for it, only appear in their app, behind their login.
That means two things:
1. Your body data lives on Hume's servers. This is a consumer product, so HIPAA doesn't protect it, and their privacy policy lists ad networks and retargeting platforms among the third parties they may share data with.
2. You don't really own what you bought. If Hume changes its terms, moves features behind a subscription, or shuts down, the hardware loses most of its function.
If you care about privacy or want hardware that works on its own, buy something else. I'm returning mine.

Ordered 3 weeks ago and still not delivered. Contacted Hume, told they know their service is poor but don’t send another email?
Money has gone out with nothing to show for it.
As a PT I won’t be recommending this to clients

Hume Pod scales are an absolute joke of…
Hume Pod scales are an absolute joke of a product. I am now on my second set after weeks of back and forth with customer service due to ongoing issues with recording weight incorrectly. The second set now has exactly the same issues, this morning for example one weight displayed a scales and recorded on main page of app yet a completely different weight recorded in the daily timeline. How is this supposed to give you meaningful insight or motivation? I have emailed customer service however, I cannot be bettered to enter another round of email tennis. I will look to invest in some scales that are fit for purpose. I can only imagine all the positive reviews are from people that received freebies or companies that received advertising revenue. AVOID and save your money.
