My 8 month old Labrador absolutely…
My 8 month old Labrador absolutely adores a yak chew. We order a few different flavours every couple of weeks, we believe it’s chewing on a yak that has stopped him chewing anything he shouldn’t in the house! The best bit is when we puff them up in the microwave when they get too small.

Good quality Yak chews
These are good quality Yak Chews. My young labrador loves them with a medium sized one lasting about a week.
Better quality than "cheaper" cheese-based Yak chews.

Not for my dog…
Sadly these were extremely hard didn’t even soften in hot water. I threw them away couldn’t risk my dog damaging her teeth. Had these type of chews before but not this hard. Will stick with the coffee wood

Reply from Himalayan Chew
Hi, thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry these didn’t work for your dog.
These chews are designed to start firm so they last a long time, and they soften as your dog chews them and saliva works into the surface.
They don’t soften much just from sitting in hot water — the chewing action is what gradually softens them. Many owners also microwave the leftover piece at the end to turn it into a soft puffed treat.
Please check your email inbox and we’ll sort it straight away.
