Huge thank you to Clare who recently hosted our Sip and Paint evening for my best friend’s Hen Party. Clare was extremely patient and friendly and provided an enjoyable painting experience for us all. Thank you so much!

So much fun, highly recommend for a hen do! We had such a laugh and both the artist and model were really charismatic, which made the whole thing feel really smooth and enjoyable.

We were worried it would either feel too seedy or too serious, but it was neither. Everyone had a giggle, including the model, but we equally had a fun time creating art (to varying degrees of success).

Jules was very professional and polite. He went with the vibes of the group. He made everyone feel at ease and commented on each drawing. He made the extra effort with me because it was my birthday. I have asked Tissington Ford Barn to put Hens with pens to their recommendations of activities, which they have agreed to do at the end of this year.

Our paint and sip class was honestly a hilarious time. The whole experience was fun, lighthearted, and surprisingly creative. The instructor kept things entertaining while making everyone feel comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a unique way to spend an evening with friends, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different and fun.

I'm so pleased I contacted Hens with Pens to book a life drawing event for my daughter's hen do. From the first communication I knew they were a professional company. Our model Gary made contact a few days before to introduce himself and talk a bit about how the evening would be run and I found that helpful. Gary was brilliant, he made everyone feel comfortable and we all had such a fun time ... I have no hesitation in recommending both Hens with Pens and Gary.

Gutter (@gluttersl**queen) was absolutely amazing !!! She was hilarious and even dressed to match our event which is so sweet considering they are an alternative queen dressing as Elle Woods! Her singing was amazing , her jokes were hilarious - down to earth and yet mad as a hatter ! Thank you Gutter !!!!

Barry was amazing! We had such a fun 90 mins for my friend's 50th in Manchester. Light hearted - but we also learnt a bit about drawing and improved as the session progressed. Barry kept us all entertained and were so glad we booked this and had him as our model. Thanks Barry ☺️

Fabulous life drawing session for our 20 ladies who were away celebrating a 50th birthday! Our artist Mark and model Ben threw themselves into our regency theme with gusto, preparing an outfit and back story to be our gentlemen callers for the day. They were professional, charming and the right mix of keeping it classy with a bit of cheekiness thrown in. We were all pleased to learn some proper sketching techniques and despite my initial reservations that some in my group would be put off by full nudity of our model, Mark & Ben made the session so comfortable and enjoyable that no one minded. Fantastic communication before the event from the company too. Would book again and highly recommend Hens with Pens to anyone looking for a fun but professional activity for their event.

Clare was amazing! So encouraging and fit right into our group. Brought a real fun and artsy vibe to my sisters hen do. Communication was spot on, reached out beforehand to sus out the direction in terms of what we'd want painting and her example painted glass was exactly what we were looking for. Gave guidance to people who wanted help to recreate the example and encouraged members of the group who wanted to go in another direction with their design. Was such a fun activity and loved meeting Clare - would definitely ask for her if we booked for another event!

Clare hosted a paint and sip session at my hen do, and she was such a wonderful addition to our celebrations. She was so friendly and personable that she genuinely felt like one of the girls!

Clare arrived at our Airbnb nice and early and was quick and efficient when getting everything set up. She provided tablecloths and aprons, which meant we could get creative without worrying too much about making a mess.

It was clear that Clare had really listened to what my maid of honour had suggested as a theme. She had prepared a beautiful autumnal example glass ready for us when she arrived, which I was even able to keep alongside the glass I painted myself (such a lovely extra touch)!

Throughout the session, Clare was friendly, patient and informative. She explained how to get started, how to build up colours and how to use different techniques, including brushes and sponges, to achieve the best results within our timeframe. The session was also really flexible, with everyone free to follow Clare’s example or take their own creative direction.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session, and it was such a fun and memorable part of the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Clare again for a similar event in the future.

Absolutely brilliant Paint and Sip session at a recent Hen Do.

Clare was great at explaining, advising and encouraging our whole group - most of whom insisted they had zero artistic talent. With Clare's help we each produced a beautifully painted glass with our own individual design. We were all so pleased with our end results - and had such fun doing it!

Clare was so lovely to deal with, friendly and helpful and clearly a skilled artist herself, able to support our group's very mixed range of age and talent to produce a perfect souvenir of our weekend. Thank you!

A group of 12 ladies had Michael for a life drawing and he was amazing!! A great mix of informative and helpful but also able to have a lot of fun and handled the banter from us ladies really well. He remained professional at all times, we could tell he had a deep interest in art, it was all very tastefull, we enjoyed learning but we also had such a laugh and so much fun!!

We honestly couldn’t recommend Rob H enough! He was the model and host for our girls’ night birthday party, and from start to finish he was absolutely brilliant.

Rob was incredibly funny, friendly and made everyone feel completely at ease. He had such a relaxed and welcoming manner that even the shyest people in our group felt comfortable getting involved — and everyone ended up having such a fantastic time!

His hosting skills were brilliant, and he made the whole experience so much more fun than we ever expected. There were definitely parts we weren’t sure how much we’d enjoy beforehand, but by the end we were all saying we couldn’t wait to do it again!

Rob was also fantastic with communication before and after the event. He was easy to contact, professional, friendly and sent the photos over really promptly afterwards, which was a lovely added touch.

We genuinely had the best time and couldn’t have asked for a better person to host our evening. 10/10 from all of us — we would absolutely recommend Rob and would definitely book him again! 🍷🎨😂

We booked the life drawing for a surprise hen do. We had Andy join us. He was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He interacted so well with our group and made everyone feel comfortable and enjoy it all. The hen loved it and he made the surprise so fun for her. We would definitely recommend.
