I ordered my new guitar and got an excellent service. The employees are very friendly, They sent the product in only a few days after servicing and setting up the guitar. I got it in a perfect way.

They shipped me 2 Rocktile covers, one for bass guitar and one for plain electric guitar. I live in the Netherlands and everything was properly delivered at my door. The guitars fit in the covers, so the dimension in the website were accurate. If you enlist for the newsletter you get a 5 euro discount on your first purchase. A professional company that delivers timely and sells the nice Rocktile guitar covers.

Amazing customer service, the guitar arrived quicker than expected. The case had missing the multitool, but they had one sent to me immediately after my email. Highly recommend them.

Order 4357417 shipped in March without any prior quality control and dead on arrival. RMA authorised and amp returned to Kirstein in April. 3 reminders sent and always the same reply: we are waiting for the authorization of the manufacturer ! It's been 3 months since the return and no progress made ... Either fix the amp or refund it ! ... I will edit this review if the situation improves but for now, the customer experience is just bad.

I searched the Internet, visiting several sites offering Musical Instruments. I found the best selection and the most competitive prices here at Musikhaus Kirstein. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I must say I spent a bit more for next day delivery, which took two days, it happens. Anyone considering this site for a purchase is definitely in the right place! Life is short, buy it today!

Very good! Needed a rackmount for a Yamaha mixer, seems that I need new glasses also :)! Ordered a rackmount for an MGX16 but what I needed was for an MG16X. Well, needles to say, digital/analog, doesn't fit but allright, Kirstein did everything very well, good prices, shipped fast, well packed and they keep you very well posted. Good shop!!

Its the second time that i purchase a product with this site. They promise a delivery date if you pay for express delivery, and they never deliver. When I contact them, I get no response. When you buy a product, you want to receive it quickly, especially when you pay for delivery on a specific date. It's a huge lack of respect for the consumer.

I don't recommend. I bought a Duesenberg Starplayer TV+ (2.596,99 EUR). I received used guitar with scratched tremolo with some hard dried polish on it, and there were many other signs of use. There was no information in the item description about any quality issues or defects. The guitar was not originally packed, there was no factory box. And finally somebody signed and put the QC document into the hard case! They answered: "We are very sorry about the circumstances, but it may simply be a defect may have already occurred at the manufacturer". Really?!
I was asking them if the guitar was returned from another customer, or was it in their showroom?
After several emails and pushing them everyday, they admitted that: "it was actually used as an exhibition piece for a short time". I had to send it back and after a month I received a full refund. Wasted time. Never again.

Review:
​I am filing a formal complaint against Kirstein.nl regarding Order #4336221 The store is unlawfully withholding my refund of €766.99 and displaying a complete lack of professional customer service standards.
​Timeline of Events:
​Jan 8th: Order placed. The confirmed delivery date (Jan 13th) was missed by the store.
​Jan 16th: I officially withdrew from the contract. The store confirmed the cancellation in writing and promised to initiate the refund immediately.
​Jan 16th – 23rd: Total inaction. Despite the refund promise, the package remained stationary at the DPD sorting hub for a week.
​Jan 23rd: Following the store’s instructions, I officially refused the delivery from the DPD courier so it could return to the sender.
​Jan 26th: Despite the refusal, the package was redelivered. It remains factory-sealed as it has been the store's property since the cancellation on Jan 16th.
​Violation of Terms:
The store is now shifting the goalposts again, claiming a refund will only be issued after a "technical inspection." This is unacceptable. The contract was legally terminated 10 days ago. I never took legal possession of the goods, and the store cannot use my funds to cover the costs of their own logistical errors.
​Customer Service:
Communication is virtually non-existent. The Dutch phone number is merely a recording, and email response times exceed 3 business days.

I have saved all emails and screenshots as evidence of the entire process.
​Demand:
I am returning the factory-sealed package today. I demand an immediate full refund of €766.99, as promised on January 16th. Potential buyers should be aware of these practices before committing their money to this store.

I highly recommend Kirstein for their flexibility and patience, especially their colleague Theresa, who deserves special thanks! ;) All of our requests regarding billing were successfully resolved, and the products arrived quickly and safely at the specified delivery address.

I’m really disappointed with my first order experience.
I bought a Samson Q2U microphone that was supposed to be brand new, but it arrived with damaged foam, unprofessional packaging, and signs of previous use.
I contacted customer service three days ago with photos and haven’t received any reply yet.
I hope this can be resolved soon, because I really wanted to trust this store.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

I purchased two HK Polar 12 units from Musikhaus Kirstein. While under warranty one of the units developed a fault (crackling/buzzing).

I emailed them with a video of the issue in August 2024, they replied requesting the unit be sent back to them for testing. I received a reply saying that no fault could be found and they asked if I'd like the unit to be sent to the manufacturer for testing, adding that if they couldn't find a fault then I would be liable for shipping costs.

8 weeks later, I email again enquiring on the status of the unit to which they inform me the manufacturer could not find a fault.
I received the unit back in October, plug it in and the problem remains. I email yet again with a new video of the issue which they forward to the manufacturer. They reply saying the manufacturer would like the unit to be sent back once more for repair.

I can't stress enough how horrible Musikhaus Kirstein are to deal with. I oftentimes waited upto a week for a reply to my emails. It appears their policy is to deny and delay in the hopes that the customer will give up.

Their customer service is shockingly useless. They will completely ignore questions and simply "apologise for the inconvenience".

I would give them less than one star if I could.

Kirstein guitars are produced in china.without giving the consumer the real producer data.like weight , lenght.i bought one guitar without producer name.now i buy china guitar with real producer name and data.west creek great quality.

Excellent service. Kirstein had the best price we could find for the Telecaster my son wanted. Delivery was faster than expected and the guitar is great! We will definitely shop at Kirstein again.

BEWARE: Uncertain delivery service options in comparison to Music Store or Thomann which leads to bad customer service (no)solutions.

I bought expensive mixer equipment on line, and paid Extra for Priority Shipping. Result, They sent it through standard DHL shipping and DHL just decided to not deliver during a full week. I called DHL and they always said tomorrow. No option to deliver to a package station or even to pick it up wherever it was. I literally didnt care what I have to do to get the package, they deliberately didn't deliver.
Note: Is Standard delivery because I work at customer service as well and I know how standard delivery looks like.

I called Kirstein customer service and they just dint offer solutions, they said next week. In addition they also said they have a lot of issues with DHL.

Music Store on the contrary delivered a 2000€ equipment within 4 days (including the day I bought it).

UPDATE: I received the mixer, much later + no invoice in my email.
