I would give zero stars if I could. Do NOT purchase from this company if you live in the USA. You will not get it in a reasonable amount of time, if at all. Customer service will tell you to be patient - that it could take 3 months! If you want to take a chance, be sure to use Paypal - so you can easily get your money back!

Update: After almost a month, my purchase family arrived today, April 17. The box was very damaged, but the yarn was fine and truly lovely - so I added a few more stars. There was no further tracking information until after delivery, so the shipping method used could use improvement. I may at some point give Filati another chance, but I will know what to expect.

Beware - Shipping to US can take 2 months. Filati's website talks about fast shipping and their order confirmation states your order should arrive in 15 days. After waiting over 3 weeks for my order without any tracking updates, I contacted them only to be told to be patient as US orders can take 2-3 months to be delivered. So apparently, they are aware of the delay but continue to tell customers 15 days. I never would have placed the order if I had any idea it could take this long. When I contacted them again and requested a refund because of their misleading statements, they declined - again telling me to be patient. I initiated disputes with PayPal and VISA and after threatening to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and US Dept of Commerce for fraud and misrepresentation, they reluctantly agree to process a refund. Finally, after 5 weeks my order arrived. The tracking did not update until the day of delivery. Filati re-billed me several days later and I remitted payment. The yarn is lovely and all of this could have been avoided if they simply posted something on their website informing US customers of shipping delays.

The quality of the yarns are special.

The price of the yarn changed in my shopping basket while I was adding more yarn. As I mentioned this to the customer service they just told me that this was probably my mistake. And no more. So I decided to buy my wool elsewhere:)

Having discovered Filati by chance a year ago as I was browsing the internet, I am very pleased with the yarn and unique patterns. It is a rewarding knitting experience for me and I am grateful for this company's distinctive products.

I am sorry to say it , but after 4 weeks waiting , not receiving my paid order and no reply to my emails anymore, I am very disappointed about the filati customer service. Unfortunately I cannot recommend I am afraid.
