Wanted to support uk businesses- just wanted a good budget DAC - could have gone usual amazon but accidentally found Expound Top marks for them

Ps need to ditch Royal mail 24 hours - took 3 days - had same issues with them for 24or 48 in last few months - may be because under new ownership

It took a bit longer than I expected and it was shipped from china instead of the uk. If i had bought from the Chinese manufacturer it would have been a bit cheaper. There was no information that Exound would send from china, the choosing of the store was in good part to have a fast shipping and no border customs fees.
There were no fees, and the time to deliver wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as fast as Europe times we are used to.
In Exound favor, they did admit it and explain that this was most efficient way for this product, and were very friendly toned.

In my opinion, just a heads up for the buyer is enough. It gives the buyer the chance to decide to order directly from China or through Exound (maybe with more confidence).

Suggestion, when you offer a bonus like an optical cable, do give the option to turn down the offer. While practical for other appliances I have, for this specific purchase the optical cable will not be used.

For completeness about the times, I ordered on January 9th and the product arrived at January 23rd. So, not fast but not months (like it used to be for china shipped goods).
