I am very grateful to the European Consumer Centre Germany for their professional support, patience, and persistence in handling my complaint. They followed up with the company and helped me achieve a positive outcome. I highly recommend their service to anyone facing a cross-border consumer issue.

I had a problem with a seller that would not comply with their own information to deliver a product, they took several weeks more than they said they would, and when I tried to cancel the order because it was too late (it was a present for Christmas, that then would not arrive before Christmas, it arrived weeks after), and at their website did not have the necessary information to return the product, something they did not communicate until also days after they ended up delivering the product.
The people that I talked to in the EVZ were not only polite but extremely helpful. They required all the information from the order and my communication with the seller, as well as some personal information related with the order, to be able to process my request.
They managed to get my money back, since the seller recognised the delays in the delivery.
The process is not fast, since EVZ is probably overloaded, but the kindness and professionality and will to help resolved my case.

I am so thankful for the amazing help I received from my lawyer. I bought a dining table that looked fine at first, but the quality was so poor that after just two weeks it became bloated and unusable. We paid in advance for a hire car, turned up and no car. The online car hire trawler said tough luck. After two months of writing to them, and getting total push backs, we found out about the Irish Competition and Consumer Commission, who gave us the contact information for the Europäisches Verbraucherzentrum Deutschland. The EVZ DE have been brilliant, working together with their colleagues in Ireland. Friendly, helpful, realistic, extremely competent. The car hire trawler suddenly admitted liability and paid the fee back. We are sure it is only due to the pressure from EVZ in DE and IRL that this happened. Thank you so much, EVZ!!!

I had raised a claim with a European Company for a refund of an amount. The company was not responding for several weeks. The Europäisches Verbraucherzentrum Deutschland successfully assisted me in receiving the refund of the amount.
