I have been using Eufy cameras for years and have had nothing but problems from the start. First off, the app is over 300MB, which causes it to leak RAM. The connections are slow, and often the camera doesn’t work at all. After the latest update, I suddenly had very little control over the camera. Whether on 5G or at home, I couldn’t change any settings in the app; I kept getting an error saying “request not possible 6”. This was happening with all settings. All my credits in the Eufy Fan Center were removed after the update, and now the Eufy Fan Center isn’t visible in the app anymore. Upon further investigation, it became clear that the app could take control of the cameras, which also happened to me.
I contacted Eufy support, and the first thing they did, which I found very strange, was immediately state that privacy was their priority, which raised some questions. Even though I had explained the problem and sent screenshots of my cameras showing all relevant details like serial numbers, they also asked for device logs from my phone. This felt like an invasion of privacy because it could log personal data. This also made it clear that Eufy is eager to collect as much data as possible for third parties. The problem has been going on for weeks, and it is not tied to a specific time, so it clearly points to an issue at the server level at Eufy. Asking for logs doesn’t help solve this problem, yet they still requested them.
After some research, we discovered that the Eufy app clearly violates privacy terms, and we have reported this to the data protection authorities.
Furthermore, you can no longer use your own NAS with Eufy, and they seem to be pushing customers to buy the Eufy HomeBase NAS. This indicates that Eufy wants full control over customer data. Also, you can’t integrate the cameras with Home Assistant anymore, and even with Synology, Eufy products no longer work as they did before.
I’ve already thrown away the first set of cameras. We’ve since ordered a new brand of cameras that are open-source and compatible with Home Assistant and our own NAS.
Because of this, I do not recommend Eufy products, especially since the latest update has put customer privacy at risk.

I had an issue with my Eufy e220 2K camera — it suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. I tried everything, but nothing helped. I contacted the manufacturer’s support directly, and within a couple of hours I received a reply. They gave me clear instructions and troubleshooting steps, but the camera still wouldn’t connect. They then offered to replace it under warranty, and once I sent my old camera back, they shipped a new one the very same day.
Their customer support is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with. I will definitely choose this brand again in the future and recommend it to others!
So we first purchased a solar camera which is very good and also the app is very good and then we purchased a doorbell with the home hub 2 and when I answer the doorbell, it takes a very long time for them to hear me speaking by the time they hear me they have always walked away. Stick with Ring
No I mean none, forward facing customer services, they expect you to use email to communicate, I have autisim and have clearly explained resonable adjustments and shared both compressed and full communication summarys compiled by the AIST NHS TEAM,in short this organisation is applying for disorganization ,i hope this is red and acted apon ,i believe due to this poor understanding of their customers they are i n turn being further deceptive in corrupting and deliveraly disabling hardware via firmware/software updates ,THEFT FROM OUR LIFEBLOOD "DELIBERATE DISRESPECT FOR OUR PLANET" may god help them 😉
I wouldn’t use any Eufy product. I bought a doorbell it worked for a week, then just stopped. Eufy had little to no interest in resolving. I was completely ripped off.
first off, i have bought many outdoor cameras, the outdoor lighting and porch lighting and 4 locksets from eufy. i can say i really do like the Eufy product. i have an issue when a company lies and then covers it up. i signed up for the 1 dollar surprise pack back in November 2024 and was suppose to be able to get something to possibly include the new lawnmower by April 2025. I just reached out to Eufy this month as i have heard nothing. They said it was to get a discount that they never bothered sending. My buck is still pending. I told them they can use that dollar to invest in better customer service. Great stuff, just dont sign up for any specials or expect good service.
I have the doorbell. Can’t replay videos at all. The live stream works. But when it comes to watching movements back it won’t work. They say it’s down to connection but I’m testing it indoors next to the router. Which works for absolutely everything else. I stream movies and series with no problem at all ! Very disappointed
Great robot vacuum. Not one problem and I recently upgraded to the Lidar system Eufy offers. Absolutely amazing. I love this stuff hahaha.

Bought a small camera system and homebase from a well known wholesale member only company. Installation should have been easy, power up homebase, add cameras, mount cameras. Homebase installed no issue, linked to wireless system, connected to cloud . Add camera, message from homebase upgrade firmware, firmware upgraded add cameras through app message upgrade homebase firmware. Contacted eufy check latest firmware homebase on latest firmware confirmed through app. SN of homebase supplied to eufy silence. More silence. System will have to be returned! Very unhappy
Since the new software /app its been far to slow to react to anything caught on camera. I had the old software for years and it was very reliable. Its is a very poor system . Far better out there .
I have been a eufy customer for years now. And unfortunately my recent experience dealing with warranty claim has made me lose all the trust and faith I had in eufy. My S1 pro Omni robot had a failure. After several emails back and forth with CS it was deemed a replacement was necessary. Eufy dispatched a replacement dock and robot. FedEx delivered it in POOR condition. Box was absolutely destroyed and the dock was damaged. I contacted eufy letting them know and to advise how to proceed. After I sent the email I hauled it with me across states as I had to arrange my mothers funeral. I brought it with me as I felt they would ask me to ship it back and I didn’t want to waste their time and keep them waiting while I dealt with a family loss. I was correct and was told to ship it back and they gave a label. I immediately did so and after a week it was delivered back to their warehouse and signed for by them. Weeks go by and Shane from Managment informs me that after 3+ weeks the warehouse can’t find the robot I sent back. And since they can’t find the robot that FedEx has confirmed they delivered to them, they won’t help me with the warranty and getting my robot fixed/replaced. So I basically have a robot I paid $1,300 USD for that is no more useful than a brick for over a month. I find it VERY disrespectful and disappointing that eufy doesn’t care about my time even after I did everything they asked of me during a huge personal loss. All they do is respond with the same copy and paste responses that they are “looking into it an will reach out to warehouse again”
I’ve spent nearly £1000 pounds on Eufy kit only to find its rubbish. Don’t believe the lies about how easy it is. Nothing works quite literally. I’m living with the regret of believing their BS. Please don’t be fooled into buying anything from them.
Love the subscription free concept. Setup also easy. Cam quality is nice and I've never had to charge the S330s.
I did run into an issue with the Homebase not working. While it took a few emails and I was offline during the time (cams), which was inconvenient, the company has sent a replacement and the support has been quite friendly and helpful.
We have a whole suite of products from Eufy and are happy with all of them.
Their devices are built with planned obsolescence & Literally the most bad support team ever.
TL:DR Keep away!, devices stop working just after their 12-month waranty. & support is not at all worth spending a secound of your life on.
Multiple of my devices stopped working within 1 or 2 weeks of their "12-month" warranty, which i will note is not complaint with the EU laws of warranty but they will NOT at all cover anything after the 12-months even tho they are legally obliged to.
The support team, keeps "forgeting" previus messages and repeats "help tips" over and over, and asked if you have done steps mulitple times after confirming you have done it, and even when you video it they don't look at the video even tho they asked for the video.
Guys believe me when I say don’t bother with eufy the person it detects has gone by time you receive notifications, for last FEW WEEKS a notice saying I’m consuming data !! press continue and it does nothing!! So basically I can’t view live streams or anyone at the door, contacted Eufy many times to be told different things, and latest I’ve had is this

I purchased this robot vacuum for my photographic studio (across two floors) and was initially impressed — so much so that I bought a second one for the upstairs. When it works, the X10 Pro Omni does perform well: vacuuming, mopping, the suction is strong, and the smart features sound good.
But here’s the problem: the reliability and customer service are terrible. Both base stations developed leaks, we submitted requests for repair or replacement, and were told we were “back-ordered.” For six months we couldn’t use either robot. This after spending about £2,000 on the two units. More recently, one of the robots has stopped working entirely and we’re again hitting the same wall trying to get anything resolved.
We run a busy studio with pets (including a long-haired cat) and people coming and going — so I expected a robust machine + reliable support. What we got was a device that, yes, can work well, but fails too often and leaves you stranded. Customer service has not been responsive. At this point I had been planning to upgrade to the newer “Pro” model — but after this experience I’m going elsewhere.
Bottom line: The hardware shows promise, but the service and support let it down catastrophically. I cannot recommend this unless you’re comfortable with the risk that you may be left without support.
After a recent burglary, we needed a reliable security system to feel safe again. Eufy cameras are outstanding, with excellent picture quality, effective alarm features, and very easy to install. They’ve made a real difference to our sense of security. Would Highly recommend.
The cameras do not adhere to the settings set what so ever. I tried all the troubleshooting with their support team for at least three months and they couldn't fix one issue. Not one. I have the cameras set to geofencing so when I leave the home, I'm notified when there's someone recorded in the set zone. That setting wouldn't switch to away mode for 5 hours or more. I had both wifi and data on at all times. Until I opened the app to check events.. then it recognized I wasn't at home, geofencing suddenly kicked in. Unreliable when it does this constantly. Then I have the notifications set to off when in home mode, yet when home, the phone is going nuts while I'm outside in the garden or trying to read a book, or people walking past the house. Again, completely unreliable system, the settings do not work. I was told by Eufy to return it to the store of purchase. This was gifted to me when my brother moved overseas for a year, and was a few years after the fact, so no store would even bother helping as in NZ there's only a 12 month warranty on the product. It wasn't even 4 years old so there should not be all these faults happening, surely it's within the app.or home base and there could be something I could do to get the settings to work correctly.. well NO, not according to Eufy support. No help there. The other constantly annoying issue with this app, I have the motion set to human only on high too. Yet the app pings constantly over cats roaming the zone, dogs and most annoying cars going up the right of way, all night and all day, home or not. I reached out to their support team and they had no way of helping me with all the above issues. Blows my mind. It's an app, surely you can reconfigure the settings. I have tried everything from disconnecting all cameras from the base, rebooting the whole system, factory resetting, and in the end nothing changes. This camera system is ridiculously unreliable and doesn't make me feel safe at all since it can't work on any chosen settings I input that the app allows me to choose. I would never recommend Eufy to anyone especially living on their own, it's too expensive when it doesn't protect you the way it says it will. Very very pathetic technical support system / team since they can't do anything at all, what's the point in having one? Do better Eufy. Your products are cheap nasty crap that can't work on any chosen settings, the app just does what ever it wants. I've turned off all notifications and no longer feel safe. A courier delivered a parcel the other day and the camera only recorded the driver walking away once he dropped the parcel at the door. Didn't capture anyone walking up to the door at all, how good is that if it was a burger and all I can show the police is someone walking away, no facial recognition. Unbelievable. Your product and your attempt to help are not good enough, if you stood by your product why can't you help with all these issues?? I have to look for a better safer reliable security camera system, when I can afford a real security system not this joke of a set up. I would choose zero stars if I could.
ordered just a front wheel form$9.99 and turned out it does not fit my X10 prom omni model - could be my mistake in checking compatibility and just wanted to return it for a correct one and willing to pay shipping but EUFY refused because not their fault and gave a $1.50 refund ton KEEP a part I could not use. A really cheap and unprofessional company I will never do business with in future for arguing over a $10 item! Very disappointing and will never buy another EUFY product !
