Well made, looks great

A beautiful piece of furniture. The wood is of outstanding quality.
Really stands out in the room.

Over the last couple of years I’ve been thinking of replacing bedroom furniture and kept returning to Ercol Rimini as my favourite. An outlet email made me finally take the plunge. I’m so pleased with the items I ordered. The drawers have plenty of room, compared to some where you open them and there’s hardly any room. I love the look and feel of the wood; everything is so smooth. This range had plenty of choice and I’m now deciding which to buy next 😊 The delivery company was excellent and they placed the furniture in the right place. The items had fixings to attach to the wall too which I hadn’t realised.

The product design and finish was excellent and deserving of 5 stars. The delivery process less so.

Arrived on time. Cupboard looks lovely. Pleased with this purchase.

Good value and efficient speedy delivery of high quality product

The delivery team (of two) was absolutely great. The furniture was as expected (great quality, just what we wanted and ordered). The staff in the Ercol showroom were very helpful and knowledgable.

The only niggle is that we made a series of three orders. The first was online for collection (no delivery charge), the second, three days later in the showroom, which we was added to the first for joint delivery (£25 charge). Three weeks later we added a third in the showroom but had to pay a second £25 with a refund refused when all three were delivered in one fell swoop.

Apart from that we are entirely satisfied and enjoying our purchases.

We were very pleased with our recent purchase, the price was very good in the outlet. The organisation of delivery was excellent and the chap we spoke to was very considerate as we had to negotiate a different date. The people who delivered our furniture were also excellent!

Let me start by saying we really like the bed (Salina OG) - the design, colour and external finish are great - and we are pleased we ordered the chest and bedside cabinets at the same time. The visit to the factory showroom was also well worth the drive to see lots of the ranges on display.

A couple of things niggle though when you are paying £1700 for a bed and in excess of £4000 for the order in total.

A) Assembly - Someone at Ercol really should look at the competition (I have recently bought a John Lewis bed at 1/2 this price, and at Next for 1/3 the price). Ercol have: combined half-moon washers and nuts making it very fiddly to assemble as these get stuck; not bothered to pre-assemble the head- and foot-board centre brackets; let you spend 20 minutes pre-assembling the slats; don’t bother with hole covers; have no means of squaring the bed until you try to install the slats; have no corner bracing. The result is that it feels a bit cheap and tacky when assembled - the mattress barely obscures the holes, and you can see daylight around the corners. I ended up paying 50p for some hole covers off eBay! Come on Ercol - spend the extra few quid - it’s a rounding error on £1700.

B) Lead Times - We have bed but the chest and bedside cabinets will not arrive for 16 weeks - seriously. Whilst I know the manufacturing is outsourced to Vietnam, your supply chain management seems pretty poor.

Very pleasant delivery man, very helpful. Kept us informed of delivery time despite being a bank holiday.
Furniture was securely packed and very comfortable, just as anticipated. I love Ercol!

Excellent product range and fantastic (and genuine) sale bargains. Design is impressive and classy and the Made in England element really appeals to me.Packaging extremely good and helpful delivery guys . Highly recommended.

Beautiful furniture

Great product and excellent communication related to the delivery of the product.

We are so happy with our new Ercol sofa. Took the plunge and ordered online from the outlet store without seeing it in person and it’s even better than we imagined. Fantastic quality as expected, great communication around delivery. Love it.

So straight forward shopping experience, and am delighted with my ercol purchase.

Quality of product and delivery were fantastic!

Well informed delivery date and very well packaged and handled at point of delivery.
The office room isnt finished yet so the desk hasn’t been unpacked

Have purchased numerous items from Ercol either via their outlet or from a recommended shop over recent years. Have always found the products well made and if there are minor problems, e.g a scratch these are always dealt with. Our only regret is that they do not make a larder cupboard!

The outlet staff are very friendly and helpful, whilst other "back office" staff have been more than happy to answer any additional queries I may have.

Overall an excellent company to deal with and I would recommend them.
