Same problem as the previous review

Same problem as the previous review. Went to use the charger in a small rural village in france with electromaps
Tried to charge 3 times but all of them failed. This was on 9 Sep 2025. Checked my credit card statement the following day and found they had taken 240 euro from my account . Beware stay away from this company

Not recommended

I recently traveled to France, and the area we were in was quite rural so I was happy to find that the village where we were going to stay had an EV charger. The QR code on the charger took me to the Electromaps website. Unfortunately, the charger didn’t work. Nor did any of the nearby chargers that you also paid for via Electromaps.

What they did seem to excel at, however, was taking an 80 euro authorisation from my account. I didn’t realise until my card declined a few days later that they had 560 euros of authorisations held against my account (all for failed charges)!!

I immediately contacted them via their website assuming it would be a quick response and easy fix to remove these charges and release my funds as you have to enter your email address in order to charge. I didn’t get a response so followed up with an email. Still no response. I have just sent them another email but am not holding out much hope. Really annoyed! Not only are their EV chargers useless but their customer service is even worse!

50% higher price, no explanation.

Customer service has not responded in almost 4 days.
The advertised price per kWh was increased from €0,54 to a bit over €0,80/kWh without explanation or specification.
Stay away from companies like this!

Customer support is non-existent

Customer support is non-existent! I was wrongly charged 46€ when I was charging in a free station (said it was free in the station and I later charged using another app and confirmed that it was free). However, Electromaps charged me 46€. I sent an email to their customer support about 1 month ago asking for a refund and received no answer...

I regret that I did not read Trustpilot…

I regret that I did not read Trustpilot prior to paying for an Electropass RFID keytag. I ordered my keytag over two weeks ago. I received an email the next day to say that my order was shipped with Correos. I have a tracking number but the only information I get is that my order has been 'preregistered' with them. I have emailed Electromaps 3 times but they have never responded. This company appears to be a scam.

The company charged me for over € 147,-…

The company charged me for over € 147,- for charging 37kW due to an idle fee for which nor they nor the hotel warned me. Yes, it was somewhere in the info in the app, but nonetheless the fee seems unreasonably high. Their customer service replied by repeating the tariffs Avoid these bandits!

After paying 50Euros I am still unable to use it. I never reached to find a station accepting this card. I asked them to return my money but they never answer. Avoid, Avoid.

New EV driver found a promotion which led to 15€ free charge

After getting in contact via social network to CxO my request has been handled very quickly, just an advice try to catch the entire path from promotion, delivery to support in order to be in line with promises, my experience was not the best one but I have to admit that giving always the chance to understand the issue gives the chance to both parties to fix any issues! Good luck and keep going with EV facilitation journey

No concept of customer service, so avoid this company

Their app says get an Electropass for easier charging, but there is no option to buy one and have it delivered to the UK. Emails to the company (info@electromaps etc) asking how to get one sent to the UK are not responded to and the website is unhelpful.
