Hi J & G,
As you have ignored my person, I will be sharing with everyone my amazing experience with your company that are not acceptable.
The company was supposed to do some work and send a qualified electrician over.
In return, I have seen a person watching YouTube videos for learning how to do his job.
The job was agreed with G over OperRent chat. Everything in writing. A charge for sorting DNO issues was added to a quote.
In return one socket was changed for over £1.1k
As the company keeps ignoring my requests, I have contacted my bank and the payment is under dispute.
I am hoping that OpenRent will review their contract with you and an appropriate action will be taken.
More photos to be added on daily basic to keep EchApprpch entertained.
I have been asked to remove full names as people don’t wish to responsibility for their actions. Please check Google Reviews as photos are going to be attached for those interested in.
No call from a company. No apologies. PLEASE AVOID!!!!
needed an EPC and found their details on the web after reading the statement of quick turn around I booked on the 8th July. In the short time I spent considering this before booking I received two unsoloicitated marketing calls asking me to finalise my order. After paying my monies I received no comunication from them and after 2 days rang them to ask when I would receive a booking date. I was told they woud speak to the operative and he/she would get back to me within the day. No call was received so next day called them again, to cut a long story short I was eventually (8 days later) given a date for the EPC to be carried out on the 14th July . Work carried out by an operative who had no corperate clothing, no identification (lanyard etc.), took about a dozen photos on his phone and left, about 15 mins later stating that I would receive the certificate the next day. I eventually received notification at 10.30pm on the 17th July that the certificat had been completed and was ready to view.
The certificate was incorrect on a number of points, impacting on the energy score that the property received, I contacted the operative stating the errors and asking for them to be corrected asap. 26th July and I am still awaiting any sort of response !!

On my initial contract with Pete who designed the system he took the time to have a number of calls to ensure the system was right for our needs, went away and designed everything and sorted the paperwork seamlessly.
The installation was seamless and hassle free, the equipment and wiring is neat and working beyond the initial illustration.
At every stage throughout I had Pete and Ellie avaliable to answer any questions we had, id highly recommend these for a solar and battery installation

Can't open the certificates. Will be asking for paper certificates.
The inspection seemed to be good. No problems found. And engineer gave suggestions.

Great service overall. The engineer was friendly, arrived promptly, and provided the certificate on the same day, which was much appreciated.
The only downside was that it took a while to book the appointment. I was promised a call back that never came, so I had to follow up myself to secure the booking. Aside from that, the service was excellent.

Very quick and simple process. The person who attended was very professional and the whole process of getting in touch to completion was within 3 working days

most frustrating agent to deal with
why the need to join a portal when all thats needed is a certificate?
Does your agent not realise people are at work and not always able to answer their phones and cidn't even return my call???
Don't book these people!!

I would not recommend this company - please read my experience: I paid £189 for an EICR. After the assessment was done, they told me that the only reason it failed was due to out-of-date smoke detectors. I then had to pay £250 for remedial work to be undertaken (replacing two smoke detectors). My only options were to have EcoApproach do it themselves, or to instruct another electrician to do it and for them to amend the report. Given I had no idea about the size and scale of an operation to change hard-wired detectors, I paid the £250 fee (which also said it needed to be booked within 30 days of receiving the initial report). I was given a four-hour timeslot, and when the electrician arrived, he was here for four minutes. I was told how easy it is to change the detectors myself and was advised to make a note of when they need changing so I can do it myself in the future. Shocked at how little work was actually required for £250, I then looked online and found that the smoke detectors required cost just £12-15 each. I felt that this company had taken advantage of my situation and did not feel that the additional £250 on top of the original £189 cost was reflective of the work required to sign off my certificate. I would not have minded paying a call-out fee for someone checking that I had installed new detectors, but I don't believe that it was £250 for this job. Moreover, if I knew my detectors were out of date before the initial assessment and changed them myself, then the EICR would've passed, which speaks to my concern around being taken advantage of. I rang the company and shared my concerns, and didn't feel that any justifications for the cost were appropriate, as I stated all of the above. A hard-wired smoke detector does not take any additional effort to change, and the electrician even showed me how to do it myself which is a case of pressing a button on the side, and the detector coming off the attachment. I requested a partial refund as it had cost me almost £450 by this point and didn't feel it was appropriate. I said that I understood the cost of people's time to come to my house, etc., but didn't believe it was worth £250. I was then told that because I'd already paid for the work and it had been done, a refund was not possible; however, I was unable to get the work done unless the fee was paid, and I only had concerns post-remedial work. To summarise, I would not recommend this company as I feel that they have taken advantage of my situation.

Very impressed with the service. Booked an EPC. Got a prompt email confirming receipt of order. Telephone call after working hours done 2 hours later offering appointment the next day. Certificate received within 24 hours of appointment. Would recommend for anyone wanting an EPC. Reasonable fee too at £79. Thanks to Keiran.

EPC's vary greatly in price with some companies charging nearly £200. It was so easy to book an appointment with Ecoapproach and I was contacted within 24 hours by the local assessor Roy.
Roy gave me several time slots to choose from and I met Roy at the property which is up for sale.
Roy arrived early and was extremely efficient and very friedlndly. The EPC assessment was carried out at 11am. The report was uploaded the same evening.
I cannot fault the process like I said it was very easy, the cost was very competitive and it's another piece of the jigsaw completed for the for the sale process with the minimum of fuss.
Ecoapproach also offer a number of other services for both sellers and Landlords. It really is a one stop shop with a personal dashboard that provides good visibility of outstanding actions and all of your documentation in one place.
I would have no hesitation recommending Ecoapproach.

Would have been 5 stars if the original assessor booked turned up! However after contacting Customer Support I received great service from the lovely Tracey, who promptly arranged for another assessor to visit for 2 days later. Jake called me 25 mins before he arrived, was polite, professional and I received the certificate 6 hours later! That's 5 star service, shame the original assessor was not as reliable.
Would just like to add getting through to Customer Support wasn't easy, hung up after holding for 25 mins, so I called back and selected 'book a new order' and got through straight away, and then was transferred without going back in the queue!

Called at lunch time and had the certificate by lunch time the next day. Super helpful both on the phone and on the visit. Five stars all round
