The assessor, Luke Haslam, was the consummate professional. His assessment was thorough and wide-ranging, but he managed to avoid disturbing customers and kept disruption of the business to a minimum.

Easy EPC lives up to its name!
Easy EPC does just that, they make it easy to get an EPC for letting or selling property. We used them in June 2026 to get our home certified (We got an A, very pleased with that) and the certificate link (its all online now) came through the day after we paid the bill which was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

We regret to hear about your disappointment regarding our communication and are here to make things right. I’ve taken the time to look into your booking and I can see that you were waiting for a follow up email following our phone call with you on Friday. Our customer care team were awaiting official advice from our accreditation body before responding to you, to ensure we were doing the correct thing in regards to the lighting for your property.
I asked the team to get back to you as soon as possible, as I can see you’ve been waiting a couple of days over the weekend. I believe they have now already sent the email with the results of our discussion with our accreditation body, and have offered to arrange a call with our director (who surveyed your property) when he is in the office tomorrow morning.
My apologies for the delay in our response, I can assure you that this is not the high standard of service that we usually hold ourselves to, and we have already discussed with the team the importance of keeping customers in the loop while we await information before we can respond fully.

Iv had a terrible time with these Scammers
Easy EPC has been anything but easy to deal with. beware of misleading communications.
Iv had a terrible time with this company. After booking in with them for gas12 and EICR they cancelled the booking. No worries, we are in conversation to reschedule. All of a sudden I'm getting demands for a cancelation fee. Iv receded no services and I don't have an appointment re booked after the cancelation but some how I've to pay 50% of the cancelled appointment. Avoid these scam artists!

This company was unclear in there communications and sent no reminders for the appointment leaving me to believe it had all be cancelled. all calls on the day where after the allotted and cancelled time slot. Meaning there was no chance to attend the property. All emails when in concerns to collect the cancelation fee. Iv been bombarded with demands for the cancelation fee far more than I was communicated with about the appointment and its suggested cancelation. with no conformation or reminders set out leading me to believe it was fully cancelled. This shows there more focused on pay that actually delivering a service.
Easy EPC has been anything but easy to deal with. beware of misleading communications.

Hi Ilona, we're concerned to hear your experience with your booking was less than ideal and are keen to address this.
Feedback is important to us, so I’ve taken the time to investigate your bookings with our managers and admin team. I can see that you were booked in for multiple services to occur on the same day at your property. We had to reschedule one out of the four services booked, so we emailed to say the gas safety certificate would not be going ahead on the 5th with the other surveys and would be rearranged, which you said was fine. When our engineers arrived at the property at the agreed date and time to carry out the remaining services booked, there was no one available to provide access. We called both yourself and the tenant, and emailed you at the time to see if we could resolve the issue, but unfortunately no access was granted which resulted in an aborted survey call out fee.
We charge call out fees for surveys that are unable to be completed due to no access as we have booked out our engineers time to complete the job, meaning that we are making a loss on travel, salary and opportunity cost. Please note we have only charged you a 50% call out fee, which will not cover the losses we make. Without these policies in place we would not be running a profitable business. If we were to follow a model of not charging call out fees we would have to increase our pricing across the board to compensate. We have always felt it was fairer to have a reasonable cancellation policy in place, so we are only charging extra when we have been left hanging at short notice.
I can see that my colleagues are currently in conversation with you about why these fees are being charged, so if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Straightforward and quick.
What looked like opening a can of worms, with more information required than seemed appropriate, turned into a very straightforward procedure.
Book up, arrange a time, get assessment, pay, documents through (on govt. EPC site) - job done.
Couldn't understand all the measuring, given that I had certified plans and a scale ruler waiting, but I just let the very pleasant assessor get on with things.
